"Ugh…" Chloe muttered as she heard a gurgling, churning sound. She opened her eyes and found herself lying on a cushy, pudgy surface. It was firm, yet soft as a pillow.
"Last thing I remember," she muttered as she looked around her alien surroundings. "Was I was eaten by a really big fish!"
As she craned her aching neck around the room, she realized that the surface and the walls were a blood red membrane hue. They convulsed and pulsated. And she shook her head. "This sure looks like the inside of a big fish!"
Rosemary's voice echoed in her brain. "Maybe…because you are inside a big fish!"
"Mother-puffer!" Chloe shouted. "Why did I listen to that king?"
"Perhaps when I tell you to slap yourself in the face you'll do that too!" Rosemary snarked. "You are so gullible, child!"
"You could have told me otherwise!" Chloe snapped.
"I was beginning to think better of you, my little meat puppet," the dark dame said. "I sure was mistaken."
Chloe climbed to her feet, standing on the floor of Jawesome's stomach. The floor sure is bouncy, she thought, noticing a spring to her step. She began to leap like a trampoline and did a backflip. "Maybe getting digested isn't all bad!" she said with a laugh.
Taking her own hand, Rosemary slapped Chloe in the face. "What kind of pirate captain are you…" the same snapped, "fooling around in fish's digestive system. More like a craptain if I do say so myself!"
Chloe balled up her fist. "If you weren't my other eye, I'd poke you right out!"
But before she could get into a scuffle with her demon eye, she heard a flamboyant whimper from the depths of the stomach. It sounded like a very upper class man about to be beaten to a pulp.
"Rammy!" Chloe cried and she bounced her way further into the darkness.
A crackle of light blue electricity brightened up the room and Chloe watched in horror as several floating jellyfish surrounded Ramone and Luna. "I like jelly sandwiches as much as the next guy!" Ramone cried. "But not like this!"

"Hey look," Luna cried. "It's the minnow sized sea queen!"
"Well," Rosemary sneered. "Time to prove you ain't the Craptain!"
Chloe nodded. She leapt forward, flying at the jellyfish with an extra bounce from the floor. Right when she did, the jellyfish she had chosen to attack charged up electric blue and a forcefield of electricity encased its body. Chloe soon felt the volts running through her body. Her demonic eye spun from the surge in her body and she dropped to the floor gasping.
"Is attacking an electric fish head on…" Rosemary scolded her. "Any way to treat your body?"
"Point taken," Chloe said, panting for air.
"Do you have any better ideas then?" Rosemary asked her host.
"I know one!" Chloe said with a catlike smirk.
"What?"
Chloe screamed loudly. "Luna, Ramone, run for your lives!"
"That's your plan?" Rosemary said, non plussed, but Chloe ran beneath the jellyfish and seized the whimpering satyr and the ditzy fishgirl with her super strength, and dodged left and right, missing several jolts of electricity.
Once Chloe got to the end of the room, she noticed one of the intestinal walls was opening and closing with a tight gap in the center. With a powerful leap, she flew through it, carrying her friends. In the next room, she tumbled to the floor dropping them.
"Oww," Ramone cried. "My aching head."
"I'm sorry, Rammy," Chloe said, shaking the dizziness out of her own head. "I didn't mean to drop you so hard."
"It's not that," Luna said with a gentle smile. "He's a bit hung over from all the Fishy Fizz!"
"I wish this adventure didn't make me take to the bottle," Ramone groaned.
Once everyone had gotten together, Chloe asked Luna an earnest question. "So fishhips, where are we in this big mouth bass? Where did Swordslady, Eely mouth and Abacrab go?"
"If I was to venture a guess," Luna remarked. "They're in his other stomach!"
"Other stomach?!" Ramone and Chloe exclaimed.
"Yes…" Luna said. "When I was in Fish School, I learned in science class that a big fish like Jawesome has two stomachs. One for the soft, easy digestibles like us, and one for the tougher, harder to digest creatures!"
"I don't appreciate being called a soft, easy digestible," Chloe remarked, and she held her hands to her cheeks. "Oh-no..that means swordslady is with…him!!!"
