Luck Norris had picked students at random, trusting that whatever he would pick would make for a successful combination. For his first student he picked from the BG-Group, a slightly overweight girl 'Nadja Risk', mostly rated high for her charisma and high social status among BG-Group. Good grades and no boyfriend also were a bonus on top of that.
The choice was surprising but nothing problematic for most of the competitors, it was rather devastating for Nadias parents and her little brother Niels Risk.
Marco Chi John picked 'Luca Fair' from the BB-Group for his relatively large athletic frame. This did not come to a surprise to anyone.
Karen Viable picked from BB-Group a thin and high social status boy with the name 'Anderson Brown', another obvious choice, but still tragic. Anderson was the most self confident of the entire class.
Marco Marco picked a boy from the S-Group 'Craig Willoughby', as silent young psychopath that had only be diagnosed by the tests that had been done. This hadn't made public yet as to not lower the value of the student artificially. Craigs parents had commited suicide years ago - maybe, and he was right now living with his grandparents wo did not like him. Not much emotion was shown, not even he showed much emotion.
As his seconds student Luck Norris selected the best friend of 'Nadja Risk', 'Belle Willoughby' from BG-Group (no relation to 'Craig Willoughby'), probably the prettiest girl in the class - no boyfriend within the class, but some had a psychologically medium to big crush on her. She also had high status and self confidence rivaling that of 'Anderson Brown'.
This did take a good option for most competitors, especially Karen and lowered the overall morale of the entire class and even made the audience more angry at the esteemed temporary world leader - but also at Luck Norris. Was this a big misplay?
Marco Marco chose the other boy from the S-Group, the asperger syndrome case 'Tyler Fair', the slightly younger brother of 'Luca Fair', top grades in intellectual disciplines but the youngest in body and mind of the entire class. He is friends with 'Craig Willoughby' as he does not talk too much. His parents were divided on Tyler, the father was secretly relieved, whilst the mother instantly jumped into a state of denial. The Fair family would most likely never be the same. Brothers would meet on opposing teams, a controversial choice on a meta level.

Karen was disappointed to not get 'Belle Willoughby' on her team, but she always could try to smart around current choices. Was it worth putting the consistency of her team in danger to pick the BB-Group obsessive stalker, pervert, idiot, class clown 'Desmond Lime' over the more conventional BB-Group choice 'Harvey Morris', a calm, submissive and above average student? Karen decided not to jinx it and picked 'Harvey Morris', a sensible choice.
Marco Chi John decided on the remaining S-Group member 'Maria Smoke', a girl from a poor family - which just lost their girl to a competition known to have lethal outcomes.
They were already poor, but now the most valuable member, their most valued Maria, was going to take part. This was truly injustice incarnate.
Maria was underweight and the smallest student of the class, her grades were below average, a shy girl with suppressed violent tendencies.
With that the last students would be picked.
Luck Norris selected the small 'Marisa Walker', a creative mind and friend of 'Nadja Risk' and 'Belle Willoughby'. Their families were all friends to each other too, currently trying to plot a coup against Hungry, but they would be inprisoned soon after being found out.
The team had strong cohesion and balanced abilities, a well made choice.
Marco Marco went for 'Desmond Lime', his team now comprised of a psycho, an attention seeking idiot and a young introverted genius (who could not stand the idiot). The last choice seemed rather haphazard and suboptimal despite the main abilities making it a versatile unethical specialist team.
Marco Chi John now picked the intellectually slightly above average and scrawny 'Bibo Joe', his team now consisting of a strong boy, a poor girl and Bibo. It seemed to be medium to average, with the choices being not particularly synergetic as the students hadn't interacted much with each other (maybe a good thing?). How will John train this blank slate?
Karen Viable had wanted to pick Bibo too and considered the rest of the BG-Goup suboptimal choices. So she picked 'Anna Freemason' a very dependable young woman.
With that her team had a definite charismatic leader and a boy and girl - still to be seen who would be the right and who would be the left hand. A clear social hierarchy and a medium high pick.
Now it was time for a training montage - and you guessed it. Next chapter.
