An authoritarian (hence author) warmup

An authoritarian (hence author) warmup

I feel absolutely trashed. Writing so much to preserve my place in the world is draining. Living only to be consumed which makes up the worth added to me - magic seriously is not easy to use. I didn't know what I was doing, but I think I know more now.

Every bolt of genuine humor mixed with my personality is lost forever from me. Repeating the same slash forever until perfection might work for a martial artist or a swordsman, but a writer needs to come up with new interesting ideas. I know that these are based on old ideas mixed together in new ways. It is a fight that grows harder the longer it lasts.

Pain is all I write, pain is my very being resisting death for just one more day.

And death is to stand still, to not add a chapter every single day. I have ramped up production and I feel the additional weight on my creative muscles like a workout.

What is this chapter? It is a filler to you, but it is to me a break for my muscles, to continue the metaphor. All this for the magic to be remembered and eventually dementia, death and forgetfulness is all that will remain. And then comes the rebranding and a new generation of people will come, write, read and interpret the works of the old writers.

I am nothing but a number in a world in which there are infinite numbers, counting up to the end of all numbers - time brings change and change is evolution.

Evolution is a very misunderstood process in my opinion. Often the survival of the fittest is the whole focus of those that view evolution. The other perspective, the death of the unfitting, is generally underrepresented and is just the other side of the card of evolution.

What about the blade of the card in the game of evolution? How many iterations until the stack is empty and everyone dies, from the current perspective? How many iterations do YOU want it to be? Is more turns better, or do you believe that drawing more cards every turn leads to a more satisfying result? Evolution, a slow turn on a wheel towards decay.

Draw new cards or you're out of the game. It is that simple.

In fact I think you got the idea already by reading the GrimLore. You see, it is interesting to play the game (or not). Now excuse me - I got some weight to lift and this was just a warmup for todays work.
