I have come up with a way to make it up for you. This one will be not quite canon as it is canon that I wrote it, but what is written is not canon, capice? Following words are completely fictional, if Karen decides to take this one down - I will not complain, but as it is only likely that this is what had happened, I don't see why she would do it.
So the avatar of Chaol landed and did explain: "I am sorry.", he apologized fervently "I am currently being possessed by an eldritch abomination and escaped from my confinement with its help.", Karen was surprised to hear that. She was even more surprised by the headbutt, which the t-posing boy was forced into. The interrogation came to an end and made place for a fight (?) between minds when the conveniently shaped stone embedded itself into Karens head. From the stone Karen felt an emotion, it was not hate, not joy, not sadness, not disgust. It was an unshakeable determination of an actor following a path drawn out in front of them, an actor viewing everything as a part of the play.
It was a being made to dehumanize, devalue, to treat anything as a prop in a plan that served nothing more than to follow a predictable path that it was made for. This was a deeply radical viaist - just a plan for its own sake.
The entity asked Karen "What is the final goal? When are you finished? When do you stop, fall over and die?", Karen replied with her own view of the world.
She too felt determination, she saw everyone as a part of herself. She was a being made to decide what others did, to make them herself and then, when she had everything in her hand she would continue, she would attempt to continue being like that forever.
If she were to stop, fall over and die, she would have failed in her plan. The entity showed Karen an old woman, impossibly old so. The woman had died from natural causes, her name not forgotten by the system she made. Then the system fell apart, slowly rotting.
Then it was forgotten completely, everyone had died. This was all part of the play, chaol would wander through an empty place, no audience, nothing new beside the rot that would eventually claim it too, lasting long long long, but not forever.
The two images of two rotten corpses appeared next to each other. "We are the same.", the entity spoke. The feeling had felt like peace and unity. Without even fighting, Karen was lost to the emptyness of viaism. Someone important beside the two was also present.

Mama Morris had remembered the path, that Hungry Visitor took when leaving the scene obediently and called her soul. Her own ambitions were small compared to Chaol and Karen. She had her socks already, what more could she want? She wanted a neat tiny pen and book that she could write in. Slowly she walked the path she had remembered only to steal the book
Green grazing sun, I am having so much fun. Bididibingging bong.
Now I am bored
only to give it back to the writer who hadn't been able to react to her theft. She then had remembered what she was here for and walked through the mine field unimpeded, the Stacy being occupied with finding the kill codes of the boy that had attacked Karen.
She picked up a stone and eroded the entire wall before they could even begin to get the codes. Unkowingly this had injured Karen as the KZ was part of her soul.
Did Karen still care about her dream, about her life? Mama Morris went and got herself some chocolate icecream, came back and felt so fulfilled that her soul demanifested.
It was the crass antithesis to viaism. Dao, Via, they all just mean one thing: Path.
Mama Morris completely went against the pathEthic, finding joy in the small things even if her son was in a deadly environment. How does Chaol react to that? As Mama Morris is a woman, Chaol can not just order her to follow the pathEthic. But he could just call the mutinous actor out on their bullshit. Chaol grabbed a gun off one of her child soldiers and held the gun against the head of the blissful woman.
"If you say, you want to live forever, I will not shoot you. If you do not say so, I will. Choose.", Chaol said. Mama Morris just ate her icecream.
When she finished the food, Chaol found that the trigger might not be worth it.
If she just violated the pathEthic, the viable, the dao, what even was the reason to keep such a prop in the spotlight? Chaol stepped over the long forgotten corpse of Desmond Lime. It was time to go on the stage and follow a play - no one would stop her as all other sufficiently powerful people were male. Another step lead her into Viable 6. So close to the end, but oh so far. Man that are so many words. I guess lets call it a canon then - unless Karol PathEthic calls me out of course. Let's better go hiding before this becomes retroactively noncanon. See ya in Viable 6!
