GrimLore- purple house

GrimLore- purple house

I see a purple house and a teenager. The teenagers name is Simon and this is not his house.

The house looks great, a wonderful house with a more wonderful inhabitant.

Inside of the house is a young and pretty woman, her name is Selina, she makes money from the basest desires of people like Simon. Everyone needs money, no one can judge the poor without having been poor. I have not been poor.

Simon was not invited into the house, nor should he know of this place. Simon feels that he is not welcome, but he does not recognize the true meaning of his feelings. He simply does not know and does not want to know.

Simon feels drawn, he feels the pull that feels so much like his own push.

Day for day it grows, as there is nothing that draws him backwards, but everything that he would ever want in front. He already knows what to do, but he is still hesitating.

Simon trespasses into the garden of the house. The garden is average, a neat lawn and a few flowers. There is a blacony with a large window, the insides hidden with curtains.

He walks around the house, searching for any way to gain entry or watch the happenings within the house. The wall of the house seems to vanish as the wild imagination of Simon conjures up images to fill the blanks. Simon knows the house, but he does not know the insides. He feels the desire to know, to pass the barrier.

Simon believes so strongly in the missing wall, that he steps up to the wall and into the house. Inside he finds everything he had wanted to see, tables, chairs, a bed, a kitchen, a shower and many more things that serve the body.

Simon has become part of the image and the image has become Simon.

He lives in the image, he breathes the purple light, he is a collection of particles on a canvas.

All of his desires have become sated and yet he finds new feelings from within the image.

As the teen wanders through the house, he finds it void of Selina.

He sees her, he reaches for her, but there is nothing what is actually her, just a void in form of Selina.

Simon feels vast emptyness in his wallet.

The walls turn bleak, the air turns arid, the heart cold.

He tries to retreat from the house, he finds that he can not.

The house is him, he is the house, he lives in the house.

He searches the void within the house, but there is no one beside him here.

Simon finds that no one is inside of the house, he is no one, no one to her.

I see Selina.

Selina is in her purple house. She is watching Simon from behind the curtains.

But Simon is not present, he is neither in, nor outside of the house.

Simon is stumbling through the purple walls, he has gone missing.

Simon will not come to watch, never again.

Selina knows that no one can bring back Simon, he had gone too far, led by his base desires into a house without escape. She knows that she has a choice.

She can continue to make money, she can continue leading them into the purple walls of a house filled with herself, walls made of those that seek to enter it.

Who am I to stop them?

I am not poor. I am not a teenager.

I keep watching the house, I feel the longing to enter, but know better than to try.
