Chapters are slow partially because I've been busy and because of rewrites due to some parts that I did not like. I don't have as much time to write as I did before either. A few of the rewrites has been made into concepts for future enemies.

A few hundred miles east of the diseased village was a huge city. One that was only just smaller than the size of Anzio with probably even more people. The strange thing was that half of the city seemed to be floating on water while the other half of the city was on land. "How did they do that?" Garnet wondered. It looked very dangerous. Nonetheless, it was a city that she could see. After laying another Teleportation Summoning Circle outside of the city, she headed towards the city.
Strangely, the city was not walled. Instead, it was surrounded by water. There was only one way in by foot, and that was through the front door. The other way in was by gondola, small boats what would ferry a few people and a few objects. Garnet saw that at the entrance of the city, there were guards. It was not like the city was without security, but it was much more lax compared to the walled cities she had encountered so far. The guards did not even bother to stop and check her as she entered the city.
"Are they not worried?" thought Garnet. "Anyone could just walk in and out."
"What are you thinking about?" asked Riley.
"This city seems to relaxed," said Garnet. "If something dangerous were to come along, they would be in big trouble."
"I don't think that's going to be a problem," said Riley. She pointed out into the waters.
Garnet saw large ships made of metal far off in the distance. They had constructed metal ships to defend their city if needed. It was far more advanced than the technology that was in Anzio and Antium. Even though they had metal ships, strangely enough, they did not have anything like cannons. Then again, with mages, you did not really need cannons. The mages could just fire spells.
The city had all kinds of things for sale. Lots of food, lots of clothes, and lots of rare materials as well. The problem was that it was all very expensive. Even the cheapest foods were several gold, but Garnet could tell that they were of high quality. In the end, it was a city for luxury goods. The buildings in the city mostly belonged to different artisans that made everything from plates to swords to delicacies. Yet like many special abilities and techniques, they are kept secret and only passed down to someone the artisan selects on their own to be apprentices.
"Whose apprentice are you?" asked a voice.
Garnet turned around and saw an old man with a white beard. He had wrinkled skin and was wearing a purple robe and was taking a close look at Garnet's robe. "How did you sneak up on us?" asked Riley. Normally, she could tell if people were coming close, but somehow, the old man did not register.
"I don't make much noise when I move," said the old man.
"Who are you?" asked Garnet.
"You don't know who I am?" asked the old man.
"We're not from around here," said Garnet. "We're traveling."
"I see," said the old man. "My name is Saul, and I'm a pretty famous weaver from around here."
"So what do you want?" asked Garnet.
"I want to know who made your robe," said Saul.
"It was made by a tailor and then modified my a mage," said Garnet.
"Ah that would explain a lot," said Saul.
"Explain what?" asked Garnet.
"Your robe is rich in magical power," said Saul. "Normally it takes a very long time for it to accumulate so much."
Garnet's robe was specially modified by the Crystal Catalysts she had acquired from the Magitech Cannons. It helped with the process and gave the robe immense magical power. "Does magic power accumulates in everything?" asked Garnet.
"Only objects that are made with the right materials and have had enough time," said Saul.
Garnet's own Item Enhancement skill did not require time. Instead, all it took was her own mana to infuse into items. "What can you tell me about this?" Garnet asked as she took out an enhanced iron ingot.
"This is very rich in magic," said Saul. "You could probably make a high quality sword with it."
"Why are they so rare?" Garnet asked. "I've heard that they are very expensive."
"Areas that are rich in magic produce the best materials," said Saul. "But it also means that the area is populated with a huge amount of creatures that feed off of that mana as well. The richer the mana, the stronger the enemies that appear."
"What about abnormalities like a dragon by itself?" asked Garnet.
"Creatures eat each other too," said Saul. "When one creature accumulates mana regardless of the methods, they will grow stronger."
Quest Update: Minion Development
Feed your summons mana to unlock the Minion Development skill
Reward: New Skill
"Thank you for that information," said Garnet. "Is there anything you need besides my clothes? I'll be willing to compensate you for it."
"No," said Saul. "I learned enough from what you told me. A method to enhance an object with magic is rare, but at least I know it is possible now."
"Do you know if there's any strong creatures around here?" asked Garnet.
"There's one that lives in the waters just outside of the city," said Saul. "The ships keep it away."
"Anything else?" Garnet asked.
"No, sorry," said Saul. "That's the only one I know of."
With that, Saul took his leave. He walked away excited as if he had discovered something new and exciting. Garnet took one look at his stats as he walked away.
Name: Saul
Level: 34
Class: Weaver
Sub-Class: Shadow
Stats: High Agility, High Dexterity
There was nothing exceptional about him. Garnet had to find a way to feed her undead summons her mana or mana from others. It was likely that was why Dark Mages are feared or held in contempt. It was because they sacrificed people to allow their undead army to grow. That was not something Garnet wanted to do. She wanted to do it without harming others, which meant she had to use her own mana. The advantage Garnet had was that her mana recovers at an unbelievable rate. What takes Zedd days to recover to his maximum, Garnet can do it in several minutes without the need for an item to aid her. It was likely that Garnet's Blood Absorption functioned on the same principles. Blood contained mana, so by absorbing the blood of her enemies, Garnet also acquired their abilities and mana.
"Any clue how to feed my summons mana?" Garnet asked Riley.
"Maybe you should ask one of your other spirits," said Riley. "They could tell your blood was rich in mana."
Outside of town, Garnet called forth all of her summons. Riley, four elemental spirits, Romulus and Sylvia, and a small group of undead. "I was told I could feed you guys my mana," said Garnet. "Any ideas how to do it?"
"We just need your blood," said Nuria.
"I can cut you open to do it," said Meliae.
"I thought you guys took mana from my body," said Garnet.
"Not really," said Mazu. "We can borrow it to give ourselves a body when you call us, but it's different from if we take it from you."
"Can't I just prick my finger or something?" Garnet asked.
"It's best if you just channel it into us, you can also prick your finger," said Romulus.
"Why did no one tell me about this earlier?" Garnet asked. "I could have avoided so much trouble."
"Because it's not that easy," said Sino. "If you use up too much mana, you will weaken or permanently cripple yourself. It's only possible with a large enough mana pool."
Garnet realized that with the aid of the Hero System, she could avoid this problem altogether. It allowed her to control how much to use and the rate at which she could release it.
"Cerberus first," said Garnet. The three Cerberus approached Garnet. She took her sword and pricked the tip of her left index finger and the blood drip. Each of the Cerberus took a drop in their mouth.
Skill Upgrade: Cerberus -> Cerberus
"No name change?" she thought. Garnet watched as the Cerberus changed their tail into one of a snake. They still only had one head though. They did not have the two or three heads that the others did.
Quest Complete: Minion Development
Reward: Minion Development
Garnet checked her Menu and saw that there was a new option, Minion Development. The last one she obtained was the ability to see recipes, but this was sort of the same thing, but for her summons. Every one of her summons was listed from the Cerberus to Riley. For some reason though, Riley could not be modified yet someone like Romulus and Sylvia could. Some upgrades, such as enhancement to abilities only required mana, but there were others that required special materials. For her generic summons, she could only increase their numbers, the system would not let her increase their stats or teach them abilities yet. She had not met the requirements. "There's so many options," Garnet said.
Garnet spent the mana that she could to increase their numbers. Up to eight Cerberus, ten skeletons, three knights. For some reason though, she could not change the strength of Nuria, Mazu, Sino, Meliae, Romulus, and Sylvia. However, Romulus and Sylvia started to resemble people more than undead. Their pale skin now had a little color in them. If they became stronger, they might actually resemble living people some day. The spirits acquired proper human sized bodies though their skin was still very different from a normal person and would draw too much attention. The cost was a ridiculous amount of her mana. Yet, she could not do more because it would require her to increase her maximum mana even further.
Stat Increase: Intelligence +9
If Garnet could put all of them inside a physical body, such as a golem or a vessel, she could start building her own army. It was not going to be easy though as it required an insane amount of mana that she just did not have yet. The next step up was the 10000 mark. There seemed to be something special about that number. Some of the skills Zedd wanted to teach her had 10000 as a requirement. To create a human form vessel was 10000 mana.
With just Riley, Garnet headed back into the city to look for the Guild building. It was hard to find because all of the buildings were pretty high quality and none of them particularly stood out. Garnet received a lot of looks from people, but the people were not other Guild members who were looking for work. Instead, it looked like people who were surveying potential people to hire. On the requests wall were hundreds of requests for different materials. They all went unfulfilled. The city had a huge demand for high end items, but there was not many suppliers. Garnet had the ability to fill three kinds, animal hides, animal furs, and metal ingots.
"They're all looking," said Riley.
"I think they want to know what rank I am or what I have," said Garnet.
"What do you plan to do?" Riley asked.
"I'm wondering if I should skip a few ranks by handing in a bunch of materials," said Garnet.
"Shouldn't you see what one gets you first?" Riley asked. "It's not wise if they don't give you much for it."
"You're right," said Garnet. She took out from her ring one Iron Ingot and a piece of Wild Boar Hide, both enhanced to the maximum values and walked to turn them in along with the request papers on the wall. HOWL. It was the sound of the Cerberus. There was danger.
At that moment, Garnet felt something press on her back. CLANG. When she and Riley turned around to look, there was a knife on the floor. The people watching were not potential employers, they were people looking to kill the people looking to collect their rewards. In a Guild building of all places as well. Garnet was lucky that the Mana Armor protected her. The guards that were in the building did not do anything. They simply watched.
Garnet turned to look at the people who worked for the Guild. "Aren't you going to stop them?" Garnet asked.
"We're not strong enough to," said the man behind the desk.
Garnet looked at the people. A total of ten people were in their mid thirties. The other fifteen or so people were lower, barely at the twenties. They were much higher than the people in other places. It was likely either the wealthy could afford them or because they all were working together. After all, they had just tried to kill Garnet. It would be unwise to let them get away. "So who threw that?" Garnet asked.
All of the people who were standing around looked at each other. No one was going to speak up. Garnet could not tell if they were opposed to each other or if they were colluding and working together to take on a single person. "You do realize that if no one speaks up, it means I'm going to fight all of you right?" she said.
A lot of the people suddenly turned towards one man. A man probably in his late thirties with a beard.
Name: Bartholemew
Level: 32
Class: Tracker
Sub-class: Assassin
Stats: High Dexterity
"Is it you?" Garnet asked as she pointed at the man most of them were looking at. The man did not move or step forward. He continued to look at Garnet like the others.
"What are you going to do about it little girl?" asked Bartholemew.
Garnet looked at the other people who were all looking at her now. She handed the items she was carrying to Riley. She took her staff and started walking towards Bartholemew. "I'm going to make an example of you," said Garnet. "If I let that go, then others will come after me won't they?" said Garnet as she looked at the others in the Guild.
Bartholemew readied what looked like two daggers. He was dual wielding. A technique that Anna once said was extremely stupid. It certainly looked intimidating, but wielding multiple weapons was not an easy feat and they could be easily defeated if they lost control of even one. The other people began to back away from Bartholemew and Garnet. They knew a fight was going to start.
Garnet dashed toward Bartholemew and Bartholemew raised his daggers. Garnet swung her staff horizontally. She saw Bartholemew take a step back, dodging it. He was preparing to jump towards Garnet and finish her off.
Garnet rotated the staff around her waist so she could continue attacking. BANG. As Bartholemew jumped forward, he was struck on right side of his torso with a powerful strike. Garnet could hear a CRACK. It was the sound of broken bones. "UGH," Bartholemew groaned as he was sent flying several feet.
Bartholemew landed several feet away to Garnet's left. "GAH," he screamed as he held his right ribs.
Garnet had dealt serious damage to him. "That's what I'm going to do about it," said Garnet. "Do you want to continue?" Garnet asked.
"No," said Bartholemew.
"Does anyone else want to continue?" Garnet asked as she looked around. She could see that at least two others were planning sneak attacks, but they did not dare move once they saw what she did to Bartholemew.
Garnet walked back over to Riley and took the Iron Ingot and Wild Boar Hide. She walked over to the counter with the requests and handed them in. Meanwhile, Riley continued to keep an eye on the others, making sure that they did not do anything. "Here," said Garnet as she handed over the materials along with her Guild Card.
"You're such a low rank," said the receptionist. "How did you do that?"
"I'm only a low rank because there were no requests," said Garnet. "If there were more, I could probably rank up many times."
"I see," said the receptionist. "Allow me to make you a new Guild Card."
"Alright," said Garnet. She waited a few minutes and saw the man return. Her card now had three Bronze Stars on it. "Is this close to another type of card yet?"
"Yes," said the receptionist as he returned the card along with Garnet's payment of 200 gold. "You just have to take on one of the Silver requests to move up."
Garnet walked back over to the request board, but did not see any Silver ranked requests. The Guild was still more or less useless to her. Garnet turned around and noticed the receptionist signaling to her. He was moving his eyes to the lower left over and over again. Garnet turned to her left and saw a man that wore heavy armor was blocking the door. He was staring straight at Garnet.
"Who here dared to inure one of my subordinates?!?" the man shouted.
"Is your subordinate that Bartholemew guy?" Garnet asked.
"It was you?!?" the man asked surprisingly. "He lost to a little girl?!?" he laughed.
"He attacked me first," said Garnet. "It's not my fault."
"It doesn't change the fact that you injured him," said the man. "You're going to have to take responsibility for it."
"I don't want to fight you," said Garnet.
"I just want you to pay me the reward you owe him," said the man.
"You mean the reward he tried to take from me?" Garnet asked. "No way. If he wanted that reward, he should have tried to collect the materials himself."
Garnet looked around and saw that most of the people were scared. The man in front of Garnet was someone who frightened them.
Name: Alexander
Level: 50
Class: Duelist
Sub-class: Defender
Stats: High Vitality
He was definitely much stronger than the others, but he was someone that Garnet could fight now. "I suppose you want to fight me too," said Garnet.
"Yes," said Alexander. "I am Alexander, son of David and slayer of the Red Dragon."
"You actually killed a dragon?" Garnet was surprised by this statement, but she did not care. She had killed a dragon of her own after all.
"Yes," said Alexander. He took out a fang. It was very large, but Garnet could not tell what creature that actually belonged to. It was possible that Alexander was just lying as well.
Name: Fang
Quality: High
Effect: Bonus damage if crafted into a knife
Garnet was not going to take her opponent lightly. She put away her staff and drew her sword. "If you want to fight, then come at me!" Garnet provoked.
"You should learn your manners little girl," said Alexander. He pulled out a two handed great sword that was enormous.

Garnet could feel that there was a little mana in the sword. It was special and definitely something high quality.
Name: Bone Greatsword
Quality: Medium
Effect: Bonus damage to heavy armor
"If I lose, then I will give you the reward," said Garnet. "But what will you do if I win?" Garnet asked Alexander.
"If you win, you can make me do whatever you want," said Alexander. "Because I will not lose!" Alexander charged forward.
"Horizontal Slash!" Garnet swung her sword in arc in front of her, predicting Alexander's head on assault.
CLANG. Garnet's sword came into contact with Alexander's. Garnet could feel the pressure of Alexander's sword. He was much stronger than the others she had fought so far.
"Partial Transformation: Temptress of the Night!" Garnet partially transformed her arms and legs that were covered so that she could benefit from at least a little of the enhanced abilities.
Alexander slid Garnet's sword off to the side and took a step back. "You're no amateur," said Alexander. "Who is your Master?"
"My maid taught me," said Garnet. "Delta Attack!" Garnet performed three strokes in the air. Each one released a wave of air that flew towards Alexander.
Alexander stepped to the side. BANG. Garnet saw that the impact had struck a nearby table. Alexander's shoulder armor was partially chipped. He was not able to completely avoid the attack. "I can see why he lost now," said Alexander.
"He lost when he tried to sneak attack me," said Garnet. "If you're going to try to take it from me, at least do it in my face!"
Alexander readied his sword. He was preparing for a powerful swing. One that was probably going to try to cut Garnet in half. He slowly walked forward, he was counting on Garnet to attack first so he could counterattack during the small opening.
"No more playing around," said Garnet. "Lightning Bolt!" She was not going to take any more risks.
BZZT. Garnet zapped Alexander with a powerful bolt of lightning. In an instant, Alexander was down on the ground and twitching. Garnet kicked away his sword. "I win," said Garnet as she held her sword to the side of Alexander's head and struck it into the ground.
There were loud gasps and chatter among the crowd. They were surprised by the results. Garnet walked over to the counter and handed the receptionist twenty gold coins. "Sorry for the damage," said Garnet.
"It's nothing," said the receptionist who was surprised by the results as well.
Garnet took a seat at one of the tables and waited for Alexander to get up. "UGH," Alexander groaned.
"You're finally awake," said Garnet. "I won."
"You can use magic," said Alexander. "Of course you won."
"Now, there's the part of the agreement where you said I can ask you to do anything," said Garnet.
"That is what I said," said Alexander.
"I want you to stop crap like this from happening," said Garnet.
"What do you mean by crap like this?" Alexander asked.
"No attacking people in the Guild to steal their rewards," said Garnet. "If you or others want it, they have to earn it themselves, not steal from other hard working people."
"I swear by it," said Alexander. "A promise is a promise after all." With one look at the crowd of people gathered, they started to disperse.
"If I find out you're still doing something like this, I'm going to have to have a word with you," said Garnet. "Am I clear?"
"Y-y-yes," said Alexander. He was afraid now.
Garnet's Aura of Fear was affecting Alexander who accepted her terms. "Looks like no matter how great a city looks, there's always trash," said Garnet.
"Everyone and everything has their own problems," said Riley. "Even your spirits."
"I know," said Garnet. "I suppose it will not do us much to stay here longer."
"Please stay at least until things calm down," interrupted the receptionist.
"Alright," said Garnet. Over the next few days, Garnet stayed at the Guild for most of the day, keeping an eye on the people. A few of the people who were there before showed up, but immediately walked away when they saw Garnet. Two of them actually started fulfilling the requests on their own, but the others still seemed like they were trying to take what others had earned. The guards in the city were still not doing anything. To Garnet, that was not okay. She would have to pay a little visit to Alexander.
"Do you know where Alexander is?" Garnet asked the receptionist.
"He usually stays with his men in the Sour Fish," said the receptionist.
"What's the Sour Fish?" Garnet asked.
"It's a bar and inn by the Northern Docks in town," said the receptionist.
"Another bar," thought Garnet. The last time she was in one, she had to kill someone. "Thanks for the information."
Garnet and Riley headed to the Northern Docks. They were in front of the Sour Fish. It was a bar that had a logo of a mug of beer and a fish on it. There was an odd smell coming from it, but that was probably because of the alcohol. "What do you plan to do?" Riley asked.
"It's time to scare them straight," said Garnet. "Call: Cerberus!" Garnet called forth eight hounds. Only three had physical bodies though. She did not have time to make more yet. "Don't kill anyone even if they try to attack me," Garnet ordered. "Alright, knock down the door."
One of the Cerberus rammed itself against the door. BANG. The entire door collapsed on the floor. The hinges on the side were broken. Garnet stepped into the bar and began to look around. At the back, she saw Alexander and Bartholemew. "I'm hear for them," said Garnet.
"If you want to fight, take it outside," said the owner.
Garnet placed a few gold coins on the owner's table. "I'm sorry about the mess, but I have some trash to take out right now." She saw the fear in Bartholemew's eyes. Alexander was less afraid. Alexander really thought he could win against Garnet. "I'll wait for Alexander and his men outside."
People looked at Garnet with shock. Alexander was supposed to be the strongest in the city. No one dared to pick a fight with him, but Garnet did. She sat in the middle of the street with her Cerberus, all faced at the bar. Some of the people looked out the window to stare at her, but she waited for Alexander to come out. A few of the city guards were already converging around her, but they were too afraid to do anything.
"Why don't you guys do anything about that guy?!?" Garnet shouted. She took a look at the stats of the city guards. Their average was at best level 20, far below the others.
Only a single guard stepped forward.
Name: Eddie
Level: 19
Class: Warrior
Sub-Class: None
Stats: High Vitality
"He's much stronger than anyone else in this city," said Eddie. "There's nothing we can do."
"Did you at least try?" Garnet asked.
"The last person to do so is dead," said Eddie. "He greatly outmatches any of us."
Alexander was stronger than all of the guards in the city. He was level 50. "What about mages?" Garnet asked.
"Our mages are dedicated to supporting the city against the creature in the waters," said Eddie. "That's a much bigger problem than Alexander will ever be, so they let him go as long as he helps to keep order in town though."
"All it would take is one person though," said Garnet.
"Not against someone of Alexander's calibur," said Eddie. "He's more than a match for any of our mages as well. As long as Alexander does not threaten any of the city's officials or managers, he can basically get away with anything he wants."
Garnet was able to defeat Alexander without much trouble though. There was the chance that he was hiding something. "Go back," said Garnet. "Don't let him see you with me."
Eddie walked away. "You're too nice," said Riley.
"I don't plan to kill Alexander," said Garnet. "But I do plan to cripple him," she added.
Alexander was still not coming outside. He was inside. "He has to come out some time right?" Garnet asked Riley.
Riley shrugged her shoulders. "He could always just live off the food in there," said Riley.
"Well, if he doesn't come out, I'll just drag him outside," said Garnet. "It'll be faster." Garnet walked towards the pub.
BANG. The door slammed wide open. Alexander was armed in a full body of silver armor. He even brought a few friends who were wearing something similar.
Name: Silver Sword+6
Quality: Medium
Effect: Damage+30%, Ignores 25% of Slashing Resistance
Name: Plate Armor+4
Quality: Medium
Effect: Defense +20%, Resistance to Slashing and Piercing
They were armed to deal with physical attacks and not magical. The group had literally wasted their time preparing equipment bringing swords and armor to a magic fight. "You can't be serious right?" Garnet asked as she looked at the group of thugs standing before her.
"I am," said Alexander. "I'm going to enjoy myself once I capture you. Bring her in alive!" he ordered.
Garnet could not help but put her palm to her face. Alexander had wasted a whole day preparing his team against the wrong type of enemy. They had only prepared against Garnet's sword and not her magic, which was her primary weapon. She looked to her left and saw Eddie along with another guard who stood there. Garnet needed to make sure that Alexander would not cause trouble, but also not undermine the guards. The best option was to cripple Alexander and let the guards bring him in.
"Go," Garnet ordered her Cerberus forward. "You can break their bones, but don't kill any."
Garnet's squad of eight Cerberus began to advance towards Alexander and his group of twelve men. "Take care of them," said Alexander. "I'll take care of the girl myself," he added.
As the group of men approached the hounds, they began to swing at the Cerberus. THUNK. A sword had hit something like the trunk of a tree that resisted it. "It's not working!" shouted one of Alexander's men. His sword had slashed at the Cerberus, but it did not break through the tough skin. All they could do was anger the Cerberus. Alexander was able to knock the Cerberus attacking him aside, but even they did not suffer significant damage. The Cerberus were truly terrifying compared to her old Skeletal Dogs.
Garnet sat on the ground and watched the events unfold. Alexander's men were demoralized. "I'll give you a chance to surrender to the guards now," said Garnet.
A few of the men looked at Alexander who had a furious look on his face. If they ran back, Alexander would kill them, if they walked towards Garnet, they would most likely be hurt bad. One of the men threw down their sword and ran towards the city guards with his hands raised. A few followed. "You're all quitters!" shouted Alexander. "I'll take care of these things myself!"
Alexander walked forward with his sword held with both hands. One of the Cerberus leap towards Garnet, intending to intercept the blow. With a powerful swing, he knocked the Cerberus aside. "WHINE," the Cerberus cried in pain. It was knocked aside, but it was not dead. Despite how strong Alexander was, it had only hurt the Cerberus a tiny bit. It made the Cerberus much more angry. GRR. The Cerberus growled.
"What is that thing made of?!?" Alexander was shocked that even he could not cut through them.
"Last chance," said Garnet. Alexander was still fighting even though Garnet could bring him down with a single spell. Alexander was probably not very smart. Low magical resistance and extremely stubborn.
"Fight me!" shouted Alexander as he bashed the blunt side of his sword against his armor. He was taunting Garnet, but she could resist it thanks to her high intelligence stat.
"I already won last time," said Garnet. "There's no reason to. Break his arms so that he can never hold a sword again," she ordered.
The Cerberus began to surround Alexander. Even with his special sword skill, he could not fight against eight Cerberus that he could not cut. With a single swing, he could injure one, but another would just attack him. "Die monster!" he shouted as he swung.
The Cerberus all surrounded him and bit into his body as viciously fought back. There was a Cerberus on each of his arms and legs with their fangs buried deep within Alexander's body. He swung his arms wildly trying to shake them off, but he could not. "Damn it!" he shouted. "I'll make you pay for this!"
Garnet watched as Alexander weakened in his struggle against the Cerberus. He was slowly being drained as he bled out. Garnet walked up to Alexander. "Keep his hand up," Garnet ordered. Two of the Cerberus pushed up Alexander's arms raised in front. Garnet put her palms close to Alexander's hands. "Wind Palm!"
Garnet released a powerful burst of wind at close range against Alexander's hand. CREAK. "ARGH!" he screamed. The scream was so loud that it could probably be heard throughout the city. Garnet had broken his hands, ensuring that even if he did recover, he would never be the same.
"What did you do to me?" Alexander asked as he held onto his arm.
"I broke your hands and your arms," said Garnet. "You will never be able to hold a sword again. This is your punishment for abusing your power."
ROAR. Just then, in the distance, Garnet could hear the loud roar of something in the waters.
