[Vol. 8] [Chapter 78: The Fight] {78}

Back to Fujiyama and Yuma, who watched that fight, they both looked stunned. Yuma said

“So, it was Kozagawa-sama who took care of those troublesome intruders.”

Fujiyama looked back at Yuma

“I need your help to stop Kozagawa.”

Yuma's attention returned to Fujiyama, and he looked astonished

"I don't know what do you mean stop him, as far as I can see he's taking care of intruders, or do you want to tell me something else?"

Yuma looked suspiciously at Fujiyama. Fujiyama sighed; he appeared to have expected this.

“If so, forgive me…”

Fujiyama quickly aimed and moved his soul chains at Yuma as fast as a bullet. These soul chains quickly wrapped around Yuma's body. Yuma, who was unprepared, made him unable to dodge. Fujiyama pulled his body up using his soul chains and quickly landed on Yuma's head. Yuma tried to rebel but could not. Yuma appeared surprised to realize that his strength could not break these soul chains even though he was not in the slightest weakened state, and made his movements slow down drastically.

Yuma realized that Fujiyama's soul chains which were previously whitish silver had turned red. It turned out that eight other soul chains burst out from Fujiyama's back, which was red, and entangled the soul chains from Fujiyama's forearms and made them also red. After twisting the soul chains from Fujiyama's forearms, these red soul chains quickly formed something resembling a birdcage from above and encircled Yuma's entire large body. Fujiyama said

“Yokai Controller Techniques: Soul Chains Prison”

Yuma tried to struggle, but now his body could barely even move a little

“What the hell, my body can hardly move.”

Yuma immediately noticed something unusual about Fujiyama's soul chains

“Such soul chains… I haven't seen it in a long time.”

Fujiyama replied

“I managed to restrain you, because of your careless state. Once you are ensnared in the soul chains prison, it will be difficult for you to escape.”

Yuma looks annoyed

“Holding me down won't be enough. That red soul chains can hold a Yokai effectively, but doesn't mean you can seal me or something, and you also become unable to move freely.”

Yuma said, indicating that he had experienced something like this before. From behind his mask, Fujiyama's expression turned serious.

“That's true… but this isn't the only surprise I have for you.”

Behind his mask, Fujiyama smiled. Fujiyama concentrated; he then raised his spear in front of him and held it with both hands.

"King's Restraint"

Immediately after that, Yuma's body jerked, and he moved unnaturally for a moment until he finally fell silent with a blank stare.

Yuma roared very loudly and immediately attracted the attention of those above and near the dam. Yuma crept towards the dam with Fujiyama standing above his head while restraining Yuma with his red soul chains and King's Restraint technique. The crow Yokai Kozagawa's attention was immediately drawn to Fujiyama, who was controlling Yuma.

“Fujiyama? What is he doing? Perhaps…"

Kozagawa immediately realized something that made him shocked. Kozagawa thought

“The red soul chains and Yuma that he snared, there's no mistake, Fujiyama must have controlled him by force.”

Yuma’s movement was also immediately noticed by Yukari and the others, making their expressions turn shocked. Yukari thought

If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

"So that's the help Father mean?"

Yukari's expression turned confused. Yuma quickly crawled up the dam; his sharp legs, covered in sharp armor, appeared to dig into the sloping surface of the dam and cause the concrete to crack.

With Yuma’s body, which is also gigantic, almost the size of a crow Yokai, it only takes a short time for Yuma to close the distance with Kozagawa. Kozagawa immediately dodged, spread his wings, and began to fly upwards. But Yuma had already reached the top of the dam. Seeing Kozagawa, who had flown high enough, Yuma immediately stood up high and could still reach Kozagawa. Yuma pounced on Kozagawa, who was already flying, causing Kozagawa to fall backward on the bank of the river near the forest trees, and Yuma fell with him. What the centipede Yokai and crow Yokai did caused the dam building to shake hard as if it was going to collapse. Kozagawa and Yuma's fall was so hard that the ground and trees they fell on and around them shattered and knocked down.

The crow Yokai Kozagawa immediately rose from the fall and spread his wings. Kozagawa flew low, then used his talons to kick centipede Yokai Yuma. Yuma's body was pushed back and fell hard to the ground. Kozagawa immediately continued the attack. Kozagawa flew over Yuma and landed on top of Yuma, who fell on the ground using Kozagawa’s body weight, further crushing the ground, knocking down the trees around them, and causing the cracked ground to lift. Kozagawa kept trampling on Yuma's body; his attention was directed towards Fujiyama, who was trying to hold on to Yuma's head. Kozagawa immediately moved toward Fujiyama to bite him with Kozagawa’s armored beak.

Fujiyama immediately controlled Yuma to squirm, making Kozagawa just peck and shatter the ground, slightly disrupting Kozagawa's stable body position. Yuma squirmed again and was finally able to escape from Kozagawa's talons grip, which made Kozagawa almost fall, but Kozagawa immediately used the two wings that he planted and smashed the ground to balance his gigantic body. Yuma immediately pounced right on Kozagawa's neck and used his curved sword-like armored mandibles at his mouth to strangle Kozagawa. Kozagawa immediately spread his wings and flew away from Yuma. But just flying low, Yuma immediately wrapped around Kozagawa's body, making him unable to flap his wings, and the two of them fell hard again and smashed to the ground. Fujiyama tried hard not to be thrown from his place by moving to the side of Yuma's head, jumping momentarily when both Yokais hit the ground and landed back on Yuma's head stably.

Yuma immediately got up and crawled behind Kozagawa, then grabbed his nape from behind using his mandibles. Yuma lifted Kozagawa's body, threw him backward with such force that he took advantage of their heavy body weight, and shattered the ground and trees around them as Kozagawa landed hard on the ground. Makoto and the others were surprised that Yuma and Kozagawa's fight strongly made the area around the dam quake. Kozagawa, who was pressed, looked annoyed because of this.

"Let's see if you can get away from this."

Kozagawa threw his wings and used the dense grayish-black smoke on his wings to target Yuma which then hit him; the grayish-black smoke severely limited Yuma's vision but didn't hurt him; it would be different if it hit Fujiyama. Fujiyama immediately controlled Yuma to billow black smoke and send it all over Fujiyama’s body and around them to take refuge in this black smoke, neutralizing Kozagawa's hot grayish-black smoke. Fujiyama controlled Yuma creeping backward to escape Kozagawa's attack range while Fujiyama thought.

“Damn, is Kozagawa serious about killing me?”

On the other hand, Makoto and the others were stunned to see the two giant Yokai fighting. Yukari's expression turned worried.

"We have to help Dad."

Makoto's expression turned serious.

"You're right, let's go there."

Makoto and the others ran toward the fight took place, as did Asanuma and Shinra.

Arriving near the area where Yuma and Kozagawa fought, they stopped. In front of them, Yuma tried to move away from the hot grayish-black smoke that encircled him, but unexpectedly Kozagawa appeared from behind the grayish-black smoke in front of Yuma. Kozagawa flew low and shot towards Yuma, then lunged at Yuma with both talons so that Yuma was thrown backward and fell near the dam. The ground where Yuma fell shattered, and the resulting wind caused Makoto and the others to stop where they were. Kozagawa gripped Yuma using his talons of both legs, brought Yuma flying low, and then moved down by just falling while still grasping Yuma in his talons. Yuma hit the ground and was trampled by Kozagawa simultaneously, shattering the ground around them and causing a moderate earthquake. The powerful attack from Kozagawa knocked Yuma unconscious afterward.

Fujiyama, who was above Yuma's head, was trying to maintain his balance and immediately jumped away from Yuma's head. Fujiyama stepped away using his soul chains in addition to the jump's momentum, like a pole vault. Fujiyama landed on the ground and moved backward again, out of Kozagawa's attack range. On the other hand, Kozagawa looked at the unconscious Yuma.

"I'm sorry Yuma, I have no choice but to fight you who Fujiyama controls."

Kozagawa looked at Fujiyama; Fujiyama looked back at him with a sharp gaze. Soon enough, Yukari and the others, with Asanuma and Shinra on their right and left, caught up with Fujiyama. Fujiyama said

“I'll divert Kozagawa attention, you all better get out of here soon.”

Yukari’s expression turned serious

"Not a good idea Dad. Without Yokai, he will easily kill you."

Fujiyama's attention was drawn to Asanuma and Shinra

"You’re right, both of you please help us."

Asanuma and Shinra nodded. Ken's expression turned astonished

“How do we defeat that crow Yokai?”

Fujiyama replied

“We don't need to defeat him, just weaken him enough for my “King’s Restraint” technique to work on him.”

Everyone's attention was immediately drawn to Fujiyama when they heard him say the “King's Restraint” technique.
