The driver's expression turned curious.

“What kind of circumstances sir?"

Suga nodded.

“Yes, the Yokai Controller Association will try to get any help against the Black Deer, Flame Crow, and other parties as well.”

The driver nodded and appeared to agree with Suga. Nellson watched the two of them curiously. The driver looked at his watch, then glanced back at Suga through the rearview mirror.

"I want to stop by for gas sir, will it disturb your time?"

Suga looked reluctant.

"Go ahead, I'm in no rush."

The driver nodded and smiled.

Sometime later, their car arrived at a gas station, the driver then drove the car towards the refueling queue, and they waited in the second-row queue. Suga looked out the window and saw a minimart in this gas station area. Suga looked at the driver's back.

"I want to buy a drink, uncle want something?"

The driver looked back at Suga and looked reluctant.

"No sir."

Suga smiled.

"Then I'll buy you a drink."

The driver appeared to feel reluctant if he had to refuse Suga's offer again and let him be.

"Oh, okay sir…."

Suga turned to Nellson.

"Let's go Nellson."

Suga got off his car; Nellson flew out of the car using his six wings and landed on the sidewalk. Suga walked towards the minimart, Nellson watched him for a moment, then fled after him. Suga looks normal even though he invites Nellson with him. Arriving inside the minimart, Suga buys the drink he wants while explaining to the cashier, who looks surprised that Nellson is Suga’s pet owl in cosplay.

After finishing, Suga walked out of this minimart, and Nellson followed him while flying first and landing on the sidewalk and watched Suga until Suga walked past him. Suga's car had finished refueling and parked near this minimart; Suga then walked towards the car. Arriving at the car, something was flying around above for a moment, like a drone. Suga, who had just opened the car door, then immediately looked towards the object, which had already disappeared, making Suga's expression change in astonishment. Nellson, who flew and landed nearby, watched Suga astonishedly.

"What's wrong Suga?"

Suga came to his sense and turned to Nellson. Suga smiled.

"It's nothing."

Suga thought.

"Maybe it was just my imagination…."

Suga's expression looked doubtful; he then got into his car and sat in the back seat; Nellson then flew into the car and stood next to Suga; Suga then closed the car door. Their car then drove away from here.

The current time is 5:30 pm. The evening sky was slightly cloudy and orange in color. Suga's car arrives at the Yokai Controller Association headquarters. A high wall fence, a tall wooden double door entrance gate with a classic Japanese-style tiled roof above it. This gate was completely wide open without any guards; the car that Suga was riding in then drove through this gate into the area within this Headquarters.

Suga's car parked in front of the main four-story building in the classic Japanese style in this Headquarters area which Suga had visited before. Suga walked towards the leader's hall and stood in the middle of it, Nellson flew after Suga and landed on the floor near him. The association leaders have sat on their thrones in a higher place, like in a stadium with a ceiling and large pillars soaring up to the fourth floor of this building. Unlike before, almost all the leaders here are present, with only one throne empty, the throne to the right of the eastern leader. The thrones of the leaders were in the darker part of this expansive room, so their faces could not be seen. Behind Suga, the western leader wearing a half-face mask sat casually with his cheek propped up by his right hand and watched Suga with a grin.

Suga looked around; his expression changed in surprise because of the many present association leaders, unlike usual.

"Not usually everyone attends; sorry to keep you waiting."

The eastern leader, who was sitting towards Suga's front, replied.

"No need to be reluctant; we are discussing important matters."

Suga bowed respectfully for a moment.

"What can I help?"

The eastern leader replied.

"We'd like to let you know that the current situation is dangerous, but we can't leave matters regarding other Yokai. Therefore, we want to give you a new mission, and you will do it alone. After you're done, hurry back to help the Association."

Hearing that appeared to attract Suga's attention. A crow flew towards Suga, carrying the investigation document in its talons grip. Suga received this document, and the crow then continued to fly away.

"Of course, sir. Leave it to me."

The eastern leader nodded. Suga opened the document in his hand and skimmed it. The eastern leader resumed speaking.

"Is there any progress regarding the hyena Yokai?"

Suga replied.

"I'm still working on it sir, but I've found a new clue about him, I'll finish it immediately."

The eastern leader nodded.

"Good, I hope good news from you soon Suga."

Suga bowed respectfully.

The current time is 6.30 pm. The atmosphere looks quite lively in the guest hall of the Yokai Controller Association Headquarters main building, a classic Japanese style mixed with European classics, dimly lit by wall lamps and hanging lamps, making this spacious room's atmosphere dim. Many groups of tables and chairs line the right and left sides of this guest hall below an open hallway above them, supported by cylinder pillars that rise to the ceiling of this vast hall and a wall lamp attached to each of these pillars. The other members of the Yokai Controller Association were either sitting on the chairs here or standing while talking to each other, wearing their formal attire covered in the Association's Overcoat.

Suga is sitting alone on a long chair at one of the groups of tables and chairs in this hall; he has changed his clothes, wearing his ankle-length Yokai Controller Association white overcoat with black stripes pattern, a black shirt tucked into his pants with a button opened on the neck, black trousers, black belt, and black boots. Suga sat reading the investigation document about the hyena Yokai; the investigation document from the new mission he received was lying on a short table nearby. Nellson stood on a chair next to Suga while watching Suga and also reading the documents that Suga was reading. Before long, Suga appeared to realize something; he then looked at his watch as he thought.

"I better go now."

Suga stood up from his seat and walked towards the entrance of this building, a row of three tall wooden double doors. Suga ran into another member of the Yokai Controller Association walking from the entrance, Kagoshima Dojo, with a tall and muscular body. Kagoshima is wearing a black men's kimono covered with an Association overcoat that he wore like a cape. Seeing Suga, Kagoshima stopped his steps as well as Suga, Nellson then flew over and landed on the floor near Suga. Kagoshima's expression was deadpan, and looked sharply at Suga.

"It seems you are busy Suga?"

Suga smiled.

"Yeah, I have a mission to complete."

Kagoshima smiled coldly.

"I see, don't forget to always stay alert."

Kagoshima walked away past Suga towards the inside of the building, Suga watching Kagoshima with an astonished expression. Suga then turned to see Kagoshima leaving.

Kagoshima ran into a woman walking from inside the building while carrying an investigation document in her right hand, a woman in her 20s named Saori Isegawa who had long black hair with bangs and her long black hair tied back with a hair comb pin. This woman wore a shirt, a Yokai Controller Association overcoat, black trousers, and women's boots. Saori walked past Kagoshima, who continued walking past this woman without looking at her. On the other hand, Saori walked past Kagoshima while watching him with a bit of surprise. Saori then ran into Suga and stopped her steps.

"Were you also given a mission Suga?"

Suga nodded while his attention was fixed on the document that Saori was carrying.

"Right, I guess you do too?"

Saori showed her investigation documents to Suga, and she replied.

"I see, it seems the Yokai activity has increased recently."

Saori lowered back the investigation documents she showed to Suga. Suga's expression turned curious.

"I feel that way too… maybe it has something to do with the Flame Crow or the Black Deer, or even something else."

Saori nodded and looked agreed.

"Yeah, it's just that the Association leaders looking agitated is an unusual sight…"

Hearing that appeared to attract Suga's attention. Saori's attention turned to Nellson standing on the floor and looked up at them curiously. Saori smiled.

"I entrust Suga to you Nellson."

She said while patting Nellson's head. Saori walked away towards the corridor beside this hall; Nellson watched her in astonishment while Suga looked at her departure with a smile.

"Let's go Nellson."

Nellson looked up at Suga and nodded. Suga walked out through the entrance, Nellson then flew after him.
