Yukari walked through the dimly lit corridor, illuminated by wall lights that were only turned on in some parts. Yukari walked by several rooms and arrived at an open hallway with a view of the entrance hall on the first floor. Yukari saw her surroundings, the atmosphere looked quiet with only her alone, she then continued walking.

After some time of walking, Yukari arrived in front of an open shiny brown wooden double door. Yukari looked inside, the room behind this door was a wide library room. Yukari's expression turned curious, she then walked inside. Yukari looked around, this library has two floors combined, with a row of high bookshelves in the open hallway on the second floor that also has two bridges in the middle. The first floor had arrangements of tall bookshelves around a row of long reading tables in the middle. The atmosphere of this library is dim with only a few lights lit at some parts, something immediately attracts Yukari's attention. Ken appeared to be reading a book while sitting and leaning leisurely on one of the armchairs at one of the long reading tables. On the table in front of Ken, there was a pile of several books, he read the book while illuminated by one of the table lamps on the table. Yukari walked toward him, Ken appeared unaware of Yukari's presence even though Yukari had walked quite close toward him

"Looks like you're busy?"

Hearing that, Ken was surprised and immediately came to his sense then put his book on the table and looked at Yukari

"Gosh, Yukari san surprised me"

Yukari's expression turned curious

"May I join?"

Ken nodded with a curious expression, he then invited Yukari to sit

“Of course, sit wherever Yukari san wants”

Yukari then sat on the armchair next to Ken. Ken’s expression turned curious

"Why is Yukari San still awake this late?"

Yukari smiled

"I'm not sleepy, so I just walked for a while to relax"

Ken nodded. Yukari continued talking

"How about you? why are you still awake this late?"

Ken’s expression turned slightly serious

“I just want to deepen my knowledge, after fighting the centipede Yokai I felt that my ability was still lacking”

Yukari's attention fixed on the book Ken read, her expression turned curious

"I saw you are very focused, what book are you reading?"

Ken closed the book he read and showed it to Yukari, an archive book with a gray cover

Hearing Ken's words, Yukari immediately come to her sense, she then took one of the books on the table in front of Ken and begin to read it

“Alright, let's read until we’re sleepy”

Hearing this, Ken smiled.

The time now shows at 7:00 AM. Ken, Makoto, Yukari, and Shu are ready to leave, they now put the things they need in the back trunk of Shu's SUV which has been parked in front of the entrance of the Takeru family main house. Makoto was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, waistcoat, black trousers, and boots. Ken was wearing a shirt covered with a jacket that was open in the middle, long jeans, and boots. Yukari is wearing a hoody, long jeans, and boots. Shu wore a short-sleeved shirt, black trousers, and boots. The items they carried are a glove puppet of Asanuma, a stuffed doll of Shinra, their Yokai weapons, first aid kits, etc. Makoto turned to Ken and Yukari with a serious expression

"For Yukari and Ken, I will emphasize something, this time the mission might be very dangerous, the enemy might have also arrived there. Don't hesitate to attack the enemy or they will make use of it as a chance to attack you, it might be a choice between life and death”

Hearing this, Ken looked nervous while Yukari nodded with a confident expression. Makoto continued talking

"Alright, let's go"

Shu sat in the driver's seat, Makoto next to him, and Ken and Yukari sat in the second-row seat. Their car then drove away from here.

Sometime later, their car now drove through a busy urban road, with buildings and skyscrapers on their right and left. Yukari appeared a little lost in thought while looking at the scenery outside the car window beside her. Beside Yukari Ken was looking at his smartphone screen and soon his expression changed to astonishment

"Unexpectedly, no news covered the incident with the crow Yokai yesterday, are there no surveillance cameras recording it?"

Hearing this, the others also appeared to find it odd. Makoto said

"Possibly like that or... someone deliberately hid it"

Yukari's expression turned surprised

"Is it because of the government? So as not to cause panic?"

Makoto looked doubtful

"I don't know, something was wrong. I guess this will be what we are investigating after this"

Hearing this, the others appeared to agree.

After a few moments of driving, their car arrived in the suburbs on the other side, the view of the building on the right and left began to decrease and changed into trees or green land. After about two and a half hours of driving, they entered a separate two-lane road from the four-line main road, and the scenery around them was now only shady forest trees. They looked around curiously, Makoto occasionally saw the direction with GPS on his smartphone. Seeing Makoto, Shu’s expression turned curious

"Is our direction correct?"

Makoto looked convinced

"Yes, just follow this direction"

Shu nodded. Their car continues to pass through this road and soon passes a road sign that reads "You entered the government property, who have no related interests please turn back". The writing is big enough to be clearly read, but the signboard appeared rusty and obsolescent.

Sometime later, they arrived at a bridge with steel frames on it with a fairly steep cliff underneath it, and the asphalt road through this bridge are given roadblocks and chains locked with padlocks. Their car stopped in front of these roadblocks, Makoto, Shu, Yukari, and Ken then got out of the car. They helped each other to move these obsolescent-looking roadblocks to the side of the road, Makoto then checked the chains and padlocks that are the last barrier and realized something. Seeing Makoto, Shu then walked toward him

"You found something?"

Makoto turned toward Shu

"Yes, these chains are had been rather rusty and old, but the padlock looks newer"

Shu looked curious, he then joined in checking it and also realized it

"You’re right, someone must be replaced it"

Yukari who was standing near them appeared to realize something

"Maybe it's because of my father?"

Hearing this, the others' attention was turned to focus on Yukari. Shu replied

"That's possible, considering the fact that we are here now because of the clue left by Fujiyama”

Shu walked back to the car and returned while carrying his katana Yokai weapon, he then hit these padlocks firmly a few times using his katana until the padlock broke and opened. They returned to the car and then drove past the bridge.

The car continues past the road with the view of shady forest trees and hills on the right and left, they looked at the scenery around them with curious expressions. Finally, this two-line asphalt road ended in a parking lot that appeared to have been not used for a long time and was not taken care of with dry leaves covering most of it. There is a guard post that looks shabby and has not been used for a long time, as well as a sidewalk for pedestrians connected to it. In the distance after the high trees is a concrete building of the large dam. Their car then parked in this parking lot.

The time now shows 12:05 pm. They got out of the car, and each of them appeared to look around curiously. They took their Yokai weapons from the back trunk of their car, Ken also brought the glove puppet Asanuma while Yukari brought a stuffed doll Shinra. Makoto walked to the guard post here and peeked from its dull window, there were objects such as tables, generic office chairs, bookshelves, and several documents on the table whose dusty and abandoned, and there were no guards. Makoto turned to face the others

"This place has been abandoned for a long time, we just process it"

The others agreed. They then walked to the concrete road for pedestrians that was connected to the sidewalk of the parking lot, toward the large dam building.
