Yukari carefully walked deeper into the house, holding her flashlight in her left hand, and a tanto dagger in her right hand. Yukari's expression changed to surprise when her flashlight found several large and long scratches on the wall here, as well as on the floor, destroying some part of it
“What could cause large scratch marks like this?”
Yukari's expression turned a little scared, she tightly gripped the tanto dagger in her right hand.
Not long after lightning struck, and made Yukari surprised for a moment. A flash of light illuminates the entire room of this house for a moment. Unbeknownst to Yukari, it appeared that something like a large creature was crawling on the banister leading to the second floor, a creature resembling a giant centipede. The flash of lightning that struck was short-lived, and the house was pitch black again.
Not long after, Yukari sensed the existence of the creature, she then aimed her flashlight at the figure of the centipede, but now the creature has completely disappeared. Yukari felt that she had to do something under these circumstances. Yukari thought to herself
“I have a bad feeling, I better get my Katana”
With the help of the light from her flashlight in her right hand and Tanto's dagger being held upside down in her left hand, Yukari then walked up the stairs to the 2nd floor.
Arriving on the 2nd floor, this floor has 3 bedrooms connected by a corridor. Yukari walks towards her room, it appears that her room is fine, but not her father's room. It appears that her father's room is so messy, the furniture and many parts of this room are destroyed, making Yukari surprised by it
"Robbery? No… more likely the remains of the fight”
Yukari looked convinced. Obviously, there had been a fight in this house, but Yukari couldn't find her father's whereabouts. Yukari then headed to the room at the end of the corridor, however, before arriving, Yukari stopped in the middle. Yukari looked up, it appeared that there was a pattern on it that could be opened. Yukari then opened a hidden place in the wall next to her, behind a thin wall covering that could be opened and closed. Behind it, there is a lever that can be turned.
Yukari turned this lever, and slowly on the ceiling, some of it began to move down, Yukari kept turning it until a secret ladder descended from above. Yukari then walked up these stairs and came to an attic that was the same darkness as below. Yukari then used her flashlight and pointed it forward. At the end of the attic, there is a katana on a katana sword stand display on a shiny brown wooden table furniture. A shiny white katana with a carved light-blue pattern. It appears that this katana is 30 percent longer than the average katana.
Yukari walked over to this katana, she then sheathed her tanto dagger back, then kept it in her school blazer inside pocket. Yukari placed her flashlight on the table where the katana was placed, to light up the surroundings. The hilt of this katana sword is a mixture of white and navy blue, with dark blue ornaments, Yukari then took this katana from its sword stand. On the concave side of the scabbard, there are sturdy carvings in a navy-blue hubcap, along this concave part. Yukari then took the baldric near here to carry this katana on her waist, Yukari then took this katana out of the scabbard. It appears that if the sturdy engraving on the concave part of the scabbard is now on the blade of this katana, this katana scabbard has a sword retraction mechanism similar to Ken's katana sword scabbard. This means that the katana can be removed from the scabbard directly from the concave part of the scabbard for easy removal, which is self-locking between the sword and the scabbard, fused and can be detached easily when the sword is removed from the scabbard, or when put back into the scabbard. It appears that due to this additional engraving on the blade, the blade of this katana has become slightly wider than the average katana.

The hilt is also slightly longer than the usual katana handle, adjusting to the size of the katana. The katana crossguard of the blade and hilt was golden in color with sturdy carvings. Yukari then sheathed her katana again, then took the flashlight that she had put down earlier. Yukari went down the stairs back to the 2nd floor. Yukari looked around, and nothing was strange. Yukari decided to check the 1st floor. Arriving on the 1st floor, things still looked messy, but now one of the window panes that had not been broken before has all been broken. Yukari then checked her surroundings using the flashlight.
Without Yukari noticing, from behind her, the centipede-like creature was crawling from the ceiling to the second-floor open hallway behind Yukari, this giant centipede creature then crawled down, and its long body was now hanging from the 2nd-floor open hallway and crawled to the 1st floor. Yukari felt something behind her, so she immediately took out her katana from its scabbard and held it with both hands, Yukari then turned around to look behind her and entered an alert stance. While facing the giant centipede, she immediately looked shocked, that she froze in place. The centipede kept crawling with its long body, and now it was in an upright position, like a snake about to peck.
Yukari feels that now her safety is in danger. Yukari was about to run away, but this Centipede immediately reacted and was about to peck Yukari. Yukari who had expected this reflexively used her katana which was positioned in front of her, to parry. The centipede creature then pecked at Yukari, using its mandible (insect mouthpart) which is like two large long curved swords whose curved parts have armor that coats them almost to the concavity parts. Appear that the movement of the centipede's head pecked at Yukari is immediately stopped, when it clashed strongly with Yukari's katana, causing an explosive wind and spark. Somehow, Yukari appeared able to withstand the centipede's strong push. Yukari then pushed back the centipede's head and bounced it off.
The centipede reacted immediately and proceeded to peck Yukari again with its extremely sharp mandible on its head. Yukari improvised, she then immediately jumped sideways to evade, while rolling on the floor, and ended with Yukari immediately getting back on her feet stably. The centipede didn't manage to hit Yukari, and his peck hit the floor, which appeared to make the floor shatter instantly. Yukari who appeared to have predicted this, immediately slashed the centipede's head which turned out to be hard, and was only able to scratch it deep enough, but it appears that this scratch did not bleed. The centipede was shocked, and reflexively dodged sideways until it hit the wall and destroyed the kitchen bar table, he then pulled his head back. Seeing an opportunity, Yukari immediately ran away, running towards the front door.
As if it didn't want to let go of Yukari, this Centipede roared and slithered quickly after Yukari. Yukari exited the family room area through the door, then headed for the entrance of this house. The centipede crawled quickly and broke through the door to the family room Yukari just passed that was still half open, destroying this door and the wall around it instantly. But Yukari had made it through the front door, seeing the door to the family room area broken into pieces, Yukari immediately closed the entrance in front of her. Before the door closed, Yukari could see this monstrous centipede roaring at her.
Yukari immediately ran through the rain and got as far away from her house as possible. Yukari ran through the heavy rain and arrived at a bus stop. Yukari decided to sit down to rest at this bus stop, with her clothes drenched. Yukari thought back to the giant centipede just now and remain silent for a moment
“That creature is terrifying… there's no mistake, that creature is a Yokai…”
Yukari appeared familiar with something like that because it wasn't the first time she had seen Yokai. Yukari paused in thought for a moment
“Where is Father…don't tell me if something happened to him”
Yukari immediately took out her smartphone from her school blazer pocket, then called her father. However, appears that her father's number is not active. Yukari then reached into something in another pocket of her school blazer and found a belted pocket talisman, the size of a keychain.
