The current time is 8:00 am. Shu is driving his car with Yukari sitting next to him, heading to the investigation site at Yukari's house, while discussing the cases they are currently investigating. Yukari appeared to remember something

“Then… how do uncle deal with Yokais that haven't been sealed?”

While driving the car, Shu replied while occasionally glancing at Yukari

“What is certain is that there needs to be more careful planning and don't forget to keep learning if there is something new found while fighting them, because unsealed Yokai is rare. The basic technique against unsealed Yokai is you can't stick to the game of stamina when fighting unsealed Yokai, because it's certain that your stamina will lose first. Hearing this, Yukari looked a little scared. Shu continued speaking

Shu appeared to agree

The current time is 9:30 am. The car that Yukari and Shu were riding in arrived at the residential area where Yukari's house was located. Shu slowed down his car, then stopped the car a few blocks from their destination, making Yukari look curious

"Why are we stopping here? My house is still a few blocks away"

Shu replied

“That’s right, but we must not be reckless in doing this. We'll do a sneak reconnaissance first, to make sure your house is safe"

Yukari gave a nod, and the two of them then got out of the car. From the back trunk of the car, they brought their Yokai weapons, along with a backpack that held other equipment and a stuffed doll Shinra. They then walked away from here.

Shu and Yukari walked closer to Yukari's house. They then went onto one of the balconies on the roof of a resident's house a few blocks away from Yukari's house. Shu took out his binoculars from his bag, then used it to monitor Yukari's house while kneeling, with Yukari not far nearby, watching him with an astonished expression while kneeling. They appeared to be carrying their own Yokai weapons that is lying not far from them. Before long, Yukari appeared a little bothered by this

"Is it okay for us to monitor from other people's property like this?"

Shu appeared busy overseeing with binoculars while answering

"This is not the time for us to talk about that"

Yukari's expression turned astonished. Shu looks at the state of Yukari's house which looks quiet and nothing suspicious when viewed from the front. Appeared that this matter still bothered Yukari

"But seriously, how did we get up here?"

Still looking through the binoculars, Shu answered

"Yeah, I know we broke into another people's property. But it's okay Yukari, there's no one at home”

“That's not what I mean… Uncle saying that like its a common thing”

Shu was still busy observing Yukari's house with binoculars, until sometime later, there was still no movement. Shu then took off his binoculars

“Strange, there isn't the slightest movement from the outside, are you sure that is your house?"

Yukari's expression turned astonished again, she then sighed

“So sure, I almost can't believe it”

Shu paused for a moment in thought

“Whether this is a good sign or a bad sign, this could be a trap…”

Shu appeared to disapprove of the idea

"Wait a minute, let me be the one who goes alone, they don't know about me yet. You just observe from here, and let me know immediately if you see anything out of the ordinary"

Yukari's expression turned serious, and she then gave a nod. Shu walked down to the first floor, through the inside of this house.

Yukari is still on the balcony while observing the state of her house from the front. Shu walked closer to Yukari’s house, he then spoke to Yukari through the earphone on his right ear

"What's the situation from up there?"

While observing with binoculars, Yukari replied

“Safe, nothing has changed since earlier”

Shu replied

“Okay, I will proceed further”

Shu then walked into the front yard of Yukari's house, he then headed to the front door of the house. Yukari appeared to be watching him from behind her binoculars

"Be careful uncle, the centipede Yokai might still be there"

Shu replied

“Of course, I will make a payback with it”

Shu started to open the front door and walked in.

As soon as he entered the house, Shu looked shocked, because the door to the family room and the wall around this door was destroyed. Shu then draw his katana from its scabbard and entered the alert stance. Shu walked carefully and headed into the family room. As Yukari had visited before, it appeared that the situation inside this house had not changed, still as messy as before, with the glass doors leading to the back garden shattered. Shu warily walked towards these glass doors and saw the garden behind this house which was in the style of a classic Japanese garden. Shu immediately checked the whole house and found no signs of life. Shu called Yukari through his earphones

"Situation clear, come in Yukari"

Yukari replied

“Understood, I immediately headed there”

Yukari then put her binoculars back and left the balcony.

Yukari walked into her house through the front door, Shu appeared to have been waiting for her, standing with his arms crossed, not far from here

"This is really bad, lots of signs of a fight, I hardly believe you to go through all this"

Yukari replied

“Maybe I just got lucky”

Shu replied

"From these signs of battle, I want you to clarify which is yours, and which is not"

Yukari gave a nod. The two of them looked around the house and arrived at Fujiyama's room, which looked messy, even almost all the furniture in the room was destroyed. Yukari said

“This is not my former battle”

Shu looked around, there were quite a lot of katana and impact marks on the wall

“Apparently, your father was attacked in the area around the 2nd floor, but for some reason instead of going downstairs, he headed for his room, this is where the fight got even more intense. Your father appears to have taken something from here”

Yukari appeared to have realized something

“He must have taken his weapon”

Yukari said, pointing to a piece of furniture that was destroyed, with a broken katana stand. Shu propped his chin in thought, he then walked out of the room and towards the wooden railing of the open hallway, then looked at the floor around the open hallway, then looked towards the first floor

“It seems Fujiyama then headed for the first floor, where the more intense fighting took place. Fujiyama then went out through the glass window door, heading towards the garden”

Shu then descended the stairs to the first floor, Yukari followed him with a curious facial expression. Arriving at the first floor, Shu then headed for the garden and looked around carefully, Yukari appeared to be watching him as if waiting for an answer

“Somehow his trail is fading out here as if he just disappeared…”

Yukari looked surprised

"Just disappeared? That's impossible, right uncle?”

Shu's expression turned serious, he then kneeled to confirm and looked around

"I don't know, maybe someone deliberately erased his tracks somehow"

Yukari's expression turned worried

“What if something bad happens to him…”

Yukari froze in place, with a far downward glance. Shu stood up and looked at Yukari

"Don't be pessimistic Yukari, if someone wants to hurt Fujiyama, they won't bother to take him away from here"

Hearing this, Yukari immediately came to her senses and understood the possibility

"That's right uncle, we have to investigate further"

Shu gave a nod

“Of course, it is. We'd better get out of here now, in case the enemy returns. You can bring all the things you need"

Yukari replied with a nod.

Sometime later, Shu is now in the living room with the modern minimalist style which appeared barely affected by the traces of the battle inside this house, he is standing against the wall with his arms crossed. Not long after, Yukari came down carrying two of her carry-on luggage. Seeing this, Shu then walked up to her

"Let me help you carry it"

Yukari then gave him one of her bags. They walked away from here, Yukari appear to also take her black attache case school bag, which was still left where it was from the day she was attacked. They both then walked out of the house.

Arriving at the car, they then put their belongings in the back trunk of the car, where the seats were folded. It appears that Yukari still carries the stuffed doll Shinra with her. They then got into the car, and their car then drove away from here.
