“I can turn others into vampires and I can turn vampires into regular mortals? Now, this is something,” Maria said with a thoughtful smile after she finished reading the description of her new skill.
“Oh, I hope I don’t have to bite on their necks or something to turn them into vampires. That’d be so weird…”
She read through the changes her new subclass gave her one more time before dismissing the skill window. Next to her, Elizabeth had been observing everything and her eyes widened all of a sudden as her queen’s hair suddenly turned red out of nowhere. Maria hadn’t noticed this but her hair had turned from her beautiful platinum blonde to a deep blood red color.
Not only that, but she had also gained more prominent fangs so when she was smiling, Elizabeth was able to notice this and the aura she was exuding…it was very overbearing, especially towards a vampire, like her.
“Y-Your Highness!” Elizabeth exclaimed as she was compelled to kneel before Maria out of instinct.
“Hm? You need something, Elizabeth?”
“No, Your Highness…”
“...Then why are you kneeling?”
Elizabeth paused for a moment before answering hesitantly, “Y-Your aura, Your Majesty…it’s quite overbearing even for me who is a Duke-rank Vampire.”
“My aura? Oh hey, what happened to my hair?!” Maria exclaimed after she finally noticed that her hair had changed color.

She snapped her finger and created an ice mirror in the middle of the air in front of her before she started inspecting her new look.
“Wow, it’s red…it looks pretty cool!”
Maria fiddled around with her hair before remembering that Elizabeth was forced to her knees because of her aura.
“Oh yeah, what was that about my aura?”
She looked around and noticed that there were red particles of light floating around in the air inside of the Ancient Blood Hall that previously weren't there before. Maria closed her eyes and tried calming herself. The red particles of light began to gravitate towards her and recede into her body just as her red hair began changing back to its usual platinum color.
Elizabeth felt Maria’s overbearing aura recede so she stood up again and said, “Thank you, Your Highness.”
“Mhm…oh, my normal hair color’s back!”
Maria was very amused by this since it meant she now had another form. It was kind of funny that she kept on gaining new transformations every time she gained some new power. This new transformation likely had something to do with her Blood Empress subclass but she couldn’t find any difference in her power compared to her usual form. It didn’t matter too much for her though because she thought that having red hair was pretty cool.
“Alright, let’s get back to inspecting that dungeon!”
Maria reopened the [Dungeon] tab on her [Menu] and began looking through the options and the descriptions on it.
Dungeon System Management Menu Management - Manage all of the personnel assigned to protect the dungeon Recruitment - Recruit units to protect your dungeon Deployment - Deploy your recruited units that are on standby. Deployed units will start roaming around the dungeon and attack all hostile intruders Release - Dismiss recruited units that are on standby. [Extra]

Maria noticed that at the end of the menu, there was something that was popping out in a unique way.
“What’s this?”
She curiously tapped on it and a system prompt showed up in front of her.
*DING*
Would you like to activate [Dungeon Mode]? Y/N
“Oh?”
Without any hesitation, she tapped on the [Yes] button, and all of a sudden, her surroundings immediately changed as she was plunged into darkness along with Elizabeth who didn’t seem surprised by this. Seeing the change to her surroundings, Elizabeth spoke up and asked Maria, “Your Highness, are you going to modify the castle?”
“Hm? You know what this is?” Maria asked her.
“Yes, do you need me to walk you through the tutorial?”
By this point, Maria could see that the NPC had been taken over by the system and this was likely the system’s way to give her a tutorial of this new feature that’s never been seen before in the game.
“Yes, please.”
The system-possessed Elizabeth began explaining everything that Maria needed to know about the [Dungeon] Menu and despite all the simple descriptions that were shown, it was actually pretty complicated. In order to customize her dungeon, she first needed to activate [Dungeon Mode] like right now while inside the Ancient Blood Hall. Once she did that, all of the actions she performed inside of the dungeon customization mode would immediately be reflected in the game after a few minutes of adjustments.
Once the adjustments were made, the changes would happen but it would take some time for it to be completed. As for how long, it depended on the degree of changes that Maria made to the dungeon. Obviously, it was just the game’s attempt to make things as realistic as they would be because changes to a castle wouldn’t magically happen in an instant. If the changes Maria made were too drastic, it could even take an in-game month for the completion.
“That’s a bit long…I better minimize the changes to as few as possible then…” Maria thought after she heard this important piece of information.
After the tutorial was over, Maria received a notification.
