Chapter 255 - Clash of Titans (1)

Caedes immediately started attacking Lizzy after she said that infuriating line and he wasn’t going to show any mercy either for he had immediately summoned his God to the battlefield.

“Sheesh, already getting serious right from the get-go are we?” Lizzy teased as she backed away for a moment.

“Hmph, I plan to get rid of you immediately, Guildmaster Lisbet. With you out of the picture, your forces will definitely be weakened!” Caedes dashed towards Lizzy with his Summon following right behind.

For a while, Lizzy was pushed back as she couldn’t fight against the might of the high-ranking Summon. She had already missed her chance to bring her Summon to the battlefield and Caedes wasn’t going to let her do that.

“Hey, come on! At least play fair and let me use my Summon!”

“Your fault for wasting your time with words!”

“Ugh…”

Lizzy was continuously pushed back as her HP steadily fell thanks to Caedes and his Summon’s onslaught. The summoned God was using melee attacks to pressure her while Caedes stayed at the back and continued firing off magic spell after magic spell, cutting off all of her retreat routes.

“Tsk, you’re starting to piss me off, Caedes!”

Since Lizzy had changed classes, her weapon of choice now was a long Spear and a short spear which she dual-wielded. She was already used to dual-wielding greatswords thanks to her previous class as a Berserker, so she continued dual-wielding even when she became an Azure Dragoon. She tossed her short spear into the air and just as Caedes thought she was going to use a skill, Lizzy suddenly disappeared from her spot and teleported to where her spear was thrown.

“Come, Kanna!”

Even though she had opened up the distance between herself and her opponent, there wouldn’t be enough time to chant her Summon’s summoning incantation, so instead, she brought her ‘pet’ or rather, her familiar onto the battlefield. A magic circle appeared in front of Lizzy and out popped a small…child.

“Wh-Why are you in your human form, Kanna?!”

The small girl with horns and long turquoise-colored hair looked around the battlefield before turning to Lizzy and screaming, “Eh? Eh??? What the heck?”

Caedes gawked for a moment before he ordered his Summon to quickly charge and attack Lizzy once again.

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.

“You dare mock me by summoning a child to our fight?! Guildmaster Lisbet, you’ve clearly sunk to a new kind of low!” Caedes mocked.

Lizzy’s face turned red and she nearly popped a nerve as she yelled back, “Shut up, idiot!”

She quickly grabbed the small girl’s hand before flying away and saying, “Q-Quick, Kanna! Turn into your battle form!”

“O-Okay!”

The clueless little girl in her arms immediately nodded at her cutely and did as she was told. Her body began to radiate a blinding light before she transformed into what Lizzy referred to as her ‘battle form’. A loud draconic cry echoed across the battlefield and everyone turned to look up into the air. Many of the players below were shocked because a huge azure dragon had suddenly appeared in the sky.

This dragon had 3 claws on each of its legs and it was an oriental dragon instead of the typical western dragon that players usually saw in the game. Besides the horns on this dragon’s head, which replaced the antlers, people would immediately say that this was an eastern dragon.

“W-What the heck is that?!”

“T-Thank god, that’s not Leviathan…right?”

The enemy players were worried when they saw this coiling dragon as they thought it was Leviathan, but upon closer inspection, it wasn’t the large sea dragon. Even though Lizzy’s familiar, Kanna, was huge, her size couldn’t compare to Leviathan. The Fallen Angels guild players saw that Lizzy was standing on the dragon’s head and wondered, “Is that the Guildmaster’s mysterious Summon?”

“Hell no, that’s her familiar! I saw her summon it once before!”

“Even though it’s only her familiar, isn’t it awesome?!”

Lizzy didn’t wait for Caedes to say anything as she immediately ordered her familiar to start attacking while she began chanting.

Caedes saw what she was doing and immediately ordered his Summon to attack, “Dammit, I won’t let you!”

“Hmph!”

{Come forth, Ancient Mother of old and…}

She was chanting the incantation to summon the Primal that she had contracted within the Void Sea Realm. Thanks to Kanna, Lizzy was able to proceed with the incantation without worry. Kanna was a young dragonling that Lizzy had contracted with after she rescued the remaining dragon tribe members on Planet Eur. It was part of her Class quest rewards and although this dragonling wasn’t a full-fledged dragon yet, she was already extremely powerful.

She was the last few members of the Azure Dragon Clan of Eur and she followed after the Azure Dragoon as her friend and familiar. Many of the Azure Dragon Clan’s techniques were passed down to Kanna, so even though she couldn’t go toe-to-toe with Caedes because of his Summon, she was able to stall for time and let Lizzy complete her incantation.

The Fallen Angels players were immediately pumped up when they saw Lizzy and Kanna display their strength. It also didn’t go unnoticed that their Guildmaster was preparing to summon her Primal and this got everybody excited.

“Let’s go, Guildmaster!”

“Kill that fool!”

“Press the attack! Our Guildmaster is fighting her heart out, so we should do the same! Let’s go!!!”

“Come at me, you bastards!”

Lizzy completed her incantation and gave the worried Caedes a smug smile as she said, “Come forth, Almighty Tiamat!”

A gigantic magic circle appeared in the air above the battlefield right after Lizzy made her decree. The body of a large monster began materializing as the magic circle rose higher and higher into the air.

Maria’s Bahamut was indeed the God of all Dragons but he had the appearance of a powerful dragonewt with a dragon head while this monster that Lizzy summoned had a body of a pure dragon…with a head that resembled that of a beautiful human woman.

“W-What the fuck is that?!”

Many of the players down below gawked in fear and amazement at Lizzy’s monstrous Summon. The unique appearance wasn’t the only thing that was amazing. Its size was also another thing that caused all the players to gawk.

The size of Sky’s Leviathan was enormous, but his body had been shrouded by the storm clouds that appeared in the air when it was summoned, while Lizzy’s Summon was uncloaked and unobscured, so everyone saw how large this being was once it fully materialized. Even Lizzy couldn’t help but give out a slightly dumb reaction when she saw the full size of her enormous Summon that could fill the entirety of the space on the battlefield below and then some.

“H-Holy shit…”
