"How much farther?" Matthew whined.
"Not much farther!" Valerian said.
Max growled. "You didn't whine THIS much when you were a wolf!"
Shadow smiled amusingly at them. Reminds him of his own journey with them.
When they reached the cave that Valerian found before, they looked inside. "It's pretty crammed! How are we going to fit?" Matthew complained.
Valerian looked at him very sternly. "You'll manage!"
They made their way inside, and surprisingly, for six people, it was pretty spacey.
Max folded his arms and leaned against the cave wall, resting his head against them. He smiled. "I could get used to this. He then looked at Valerian, who was huddling herself in a corner of the cave. "So, we're safe here?"
Valerian laughed. "It hid you from THIS guy, didn't it?" She said, pointing a finger at Shadow, who had his legs stretched out with arms folded over his chest. He rolled his eyes at her. "Valerian, I TOLD you guys why I was doing that!"

Rose, who sat cross-legged next to her brother, placed a gentle hand on his arm. "Calm down ,Shadow, she was only kidding." She looked up at Valerian. "Right?"
Valerian scoffed. "Yeah, yeah, I guess you could say that........"
Matthew cracked his knuckles while looking at every inch of the cave, Zackary placed a hand on the wall of the cave entrance, looking at the golden glow of the sunset.
Max had never seen him in so much peace. "You know, " he began to say to group. "Other than Thunder's talking, it's pretty peaceful in here. Quiet."
Shadow and Valerian both said. "Yeah."
Rose then got up and walked towards the entrance, announcing that she was going to find some berries for dinner. Max stood up and walked with her. "I'll help you with gathering meat."
Rose tilted her head. "Are you sure? You didn't bring any hunting gear."
Max then proudly spoke. "What being a wolf taught me, especially Shadow, was how to be a better hunter. In fact, it's better work when you've got a pack.
He whistled at the boys, and they all came, even Shadow.
"We may not got sharp teeth or claws anymore, but we've got brains! Let's go!"
Suddenly, Shadow put his hands together and made a loud noise, alerting all of them.
"AWOOOOOOOO!"
The other boys did the same thing, as they all ran out into their new territory, their new hunting grounds.
A place where they are all free to be, with lack of judgement. Where they were free to be who they were, whether cursed wolves or not.
