Shadow led the other black wolf through the swinging doors and found the door to the cells. "He'll be in the farthest right." Shadow said.

The black wolf nodded and walked on in, while Shadow waited patiently on the other side of the door, keeping watch of intruders. He wasn't the only one keeping watch though, outside, Howl and Thunderbolt were guarding the tower. While Valerian and Rose planned to recreate the potion that cured Max when he was still human.

Back in the cell room, Scratch saw the black wolf talk to Scarlett. Once she recognized him, she was enraged.

"You had the guts to come here? I thought you'd be warned to stay away!"

The black wolf nodded. "I wouldn't turn back on my own son!" Suddenly, he looked at Ben, then immediately recognized him. "Ben......"

Scarlett then screamed. "Enough stalling me! You're not coming for him or him! You've already lost!"

She turns to Scratch. "Max, if your father really cared about you, first of all, he would've stayed loyal to me, and SECOND, he would've fought and fought to come back to you, but no! He abandoned you and your so called brother! He's not even mine, like he's not even yours!" She turned to the black wolf.

"It doesn't matter." The black wolf replied. "We're still family."

She then turned to Scratch. "Max, when you and your brother would play outside near the woods, he was always there. If he cared about you, he would've approached you! Instead, he turned the other way! He didn't even have the guts to tell you who your real mother was!" She then turns to the black wolf. "Pathetic!"

"Max, I did what I could to protect you!" The black wolf shouted. Scratch looked down at the ground then back at him.

"Hey, I DO know you guys..." Ben began.

Scarlett swapped him. "SHUT UP!"

The black wolf lunged at her. "Back off!"

Scarlett dodged and opened the door to Scratch's cell. "You happy now? He's free to go!" She ushered him out. "I'm done playing these fucking games anyway."

Before Scratch can take a step, Ben shouted.

"MAX, LOOK OUT!"
