"I'm not going, after what you did to us? You tricked us! You fucking traitor!" Scratch snapped.

Shadow snapped back. "That wasn't my choice! I'm BOUND to her! I'm supposed to do as she says!"

"Gabriel?" Rose said softly.

All of a sudden, his expression changed from furious to shameful. Shadow froze as he looked up at her, then instantly down at the floor.

"We know what you went through, Shadow." Howl said.

"We know you're the Necromancer." Scratch said calmly.

Shadow looked away and had an expression that made him look like he was having a painful time swallowing poison. "I didn't mean for it to happen." He said.

"Gabriel, it's okay." His sister did her best to comfort him. She tried to place her hand on his head, but he backed away.

"I'm! Not! Gabriel!" His voice cracked when he said his former name. "That name is for the innocent....it's Shadow now!"

Rose attempted to comfort him again.

"It's okay. You can't take in what the world thinks of you. That's not what I taught you."

Shadow looked up at her, then away once more. "Just leave me be!"

Before Rose could catch him, Shadow took off. "Fuck! Not again!"

"What do we do now?" Thunderbolt said.

Rose attempted to run, but Valerian caught her by the arm. "Rose, give him space!"

"And never see him again?" She cried.

"I'm sorry, Rose, but she's right. Give him time to cool down." Scratch said.

"Yeah." Thunderbolt said. "He wants to catch us anyway, he'll be back."

"I'll go find him." The mysterious black wolf said.

Everyone looked at him like he's gone mad.

"Are you crazy?" Howl said.

The black wolf nodded. "Crazy as I'll ever be."

"Go." Rose said. "I trust you."

The black wolf nodded again before heading in the direction Shadow had gone.

"What are we going to do now?" Thunderbolt repeated.
