When Gabriel had been gone long enough to make them worry, Rose asked Valerian for a vision....she was given bad news.

Valerian and Rose raced over to the place he was. "You take that half of the area, I'll take this half!"

"Got it!" Rose said. She began her search.

Shortly after searching high and low and losing hope, she was able to find him, but it was too late. Scarlett had him, and she was alive!

When he saw her, she cried out his name.

When he saw her, she expected him to run to her for comfort, but instead, he turned the opposite direction and ran off.

"Gabriel!" She shouted. "Gabriel, come back!" Rose tried to run in his direction, but apparently he was faster than her. "Brother!" She ran and ran, and looked in every direction, but there was no sign of him. Out of breath, she stopped, her heart pounded hard and loud in her chest.

She felt Valerian place a hand on her shoulder. "What is done is done. He's gone." She said calmly.

Rose wept as she said. "Did you see what she DID to him? DID YOU SEE WHAT SHE TURNED HIM INTO?"

Valerian nodded.

"SHE'LL PAY FOR THIS!" Rose shrieked.

"Rose, it's almost dusk, lets get back home. We'll search for him in the morning, I promise."

Together, the two friends held each other as they walked away from the site.
