Scratch woke up startled. "Guys, Shadow's on his way, and he's pissed!"
"We need to get moving!" Valerian said. "I'll take you guys back to my place. You'll be safe there." Just as Valerian opened the gap, a black wolf stood there, looking at all of them.
"Oh shit!" Scratch yelled.
"SHIT!" Thunderbolt screamed.
That was then a red headed girl peeked over the rocks. "What? Is everyone good?"
Valerian looked at the girl in shock. "Rose, what the FUCK!"
"Shadow?" Thunderbolt winced.
The black wolf chuckled. "In your dreams, kid."
"Not....quite....in my....dreams..." Thunderbolt said.
"Rose, who is this?" Valerian asked.

"He's my friend; he's got information about Gabriel's whereabouts!"
"W- we just came back from there....I rescued these guys." Valerian explained.
"Rescued?"
"Shadow and his buddies tried to kill us, thankfully we've escaped!" Said Thunderbolt.
"They're not his buddies, he's a prisoner there." Rose corrected him.
"Rose, I told you going to him is dangerous!" Valerian said sternly.
"That's what you've been telling me for the PAST FIVE YEARS!" Rose shouted. "I'm going after him."
"Rose - "
"No, I'm done listening to you! I'm going after my brother!"
Scratch did remember the truth in Shadow's words about how much he loved his sister, as much as it pained him, he could understand her situation. "Valerian's right, it's too dangerous to go alone." Scratch agreed.
The red head glared at him.
"That's why I'm coming with you!" Scratch said. As much as he hated it, it would've been the same if it was him and his brother.
"What?" Valerian said.
"What?" Thunderbolt said.
Scratch ignored the both of them. "I know what it's like to lose someone you care for to the curse. I'll go with you to find him."
"Max....." Valerian pleaded.
Scratch gave her a stern look. "I may have been Max before.......but it's Scratch now."
Howl gave him a prideful look. "I'm coming too."
"You guys can't be se - "
Howl then gave Thunderbolt a stern look.
"I - I guess I'll come along and keep you guys company...."
Valerian sighed.
"Okay, but if we're going to get Shadow, we need to come up with a plan."
