Shadow and the wolf came back to where the group once stayed. "What happened, where are they?" The black wolf wondered.

Shadow felt a horrible, sinking feeling in his gut. "I think the Beta really DID take in what I said and sent an army with her to find and retrieve them!"

The black wolf sighed. "Shit!"

"Seems to me though, that Scratch would know before something happens.....they could've run off."

"Do you know where they would go?"

Shadow shook his head. "I don't, but it seems like you found me pretty easily......" Shadow then looked at the ground, getting lost in his thoughts. He shook the bad feelings away. "Let's go find them."

It didn't take them very long to find them.

Shadow looked up from the ground and saw a familiar hut with vines and moss growing all over it. THIS is where they went.

Shadow backed away and ran to hide behind one of the larger trees. The black wolf followed him. "Hey kid, are you alright?"

Shadow panted before saying, "This was....my home, before I changed. I - I can't go inside."

"Hey, you're okay."

"No I'm not! I can't do this!"

"God damn it, your pack needs you!"

"No, they don't!" Shadow snapped.

"If you really care for them, you make amends with them." The black wolf retorted.

Shadow calmed down a bit, then he looked at his former home.
