-Shoot that glowing orb everyone !

I yelled immediately snapping everyone out of their thoughts as the spellcaster's on my order aimed at the elder treant aiming at the orb with their own spells.

The elder treant didn't just stay there and take it he raised his arms and protected the orb with his arms,the spells impacted and shred bursted and froze off the arms of the elder treant failing to actually hit the orb and on top of that the arms were regenerating.

-On the sides !

Hobusaku yelled out fighting a ordinary nightmare log with her two short swords I also looked around and realized that some of the surrounding trees started to wake up to the living becoming nightmare logs the girls were pressed on all sides busy with the logs the spell caster were on the middle shooting the elder treant without doing any significant damage to it...running wasn't a option.

I raised my hands invoking my spell I immediately shouted to the girls.

-everyone step back,come here !

Hearing my orders the girls finished off or knocked their opponent away and quickly came back to the middle holding their position seeing everyone here I also didn't hesitate and invoked my spell creating a freezing hurricane through my and the reason I pulled everyone together was to gather them at the center which was the safe zone.

My hurricane wasn't immediate,but it was still fast enough to hinder the movements of the charging nightmare logs quickly freezing them on their spot and also freezing our surroundings which were the trees and other plants,the elder treant was evenly as affected and stood where he was he was shielding himself with his arm which got immediately frozen through the hurricane.

After a minute I stopped the hurricane which unraveled our surroundings which had turned into a beautiful white snowy place the trees plants and the nightmare logs were solidified into ice statues not budging one bit.

I wasn't bothered by the frozen enemies and instead concentrated on the elder treant he was still on his still on his position his arms were throughly frozen and because he wasn't moving at all it made us believe that it was already over,which it was not.

(Crack..)

With small cracking sound the elder treant immediately freed himself from the ice the girls got alarmed once again pointing their weapons at him as he made his way towards us...I narrowed my eyes looking towards the elder treant from afar I could hear the sound of marching and monstrous crying coming this way...he had finally judged that we were dangerous opponents ? Now thats sweet isn't it ?

I thought sarcastically feeling a bit pressured from the inside,but holding it in while thinking about a plan.

Obviously we couldn't wait or run either way we would die from the amount of monsters that would charge at us we needed to finish this guy the core to be specific to kill every monster in the area...It wasn't smart for the core to actually arrive in front of us,I couldn't help but think that the core had underestimated us a lot and was now slightly regretting that action.

We need to kill it before they kill us...

With my shout everyone started to move doing what they were told the elder treant also moved surprisingly it wasn't retreating rather it was trying to fight us I didn't mind personally and just kept my personal thoughts to myself summoning a bone crushing cold through my magic...a pseudo mist started to surround me as I concentrate on what I was doing,the girls were putting on the pressure on the giant hunk of bark hobura's sword even lighted up in a orange glow as she executed her skill it was a greatsword skill that causes crippling damage to foes and also knock back.

-GAH !

Hobura roared.

The treeant receiving the hit immediately made a few steps back hobura had cut off one of its arms cleanly,but the bastard was once again regenerating seeing this I immediately circulated my fog and made it charge towards the treants injury freezing the cut off part stopping its regeneration..

-Success...

I muttered to myself,the treant was on its knees the girls though weren't going to be easy just because of that starting with hobusaku who used her skill cutting off one of its legs making it fall down on the ground,hobuha came next she casted her and blasted off the elder treant a few meters away a deep burn was engraved on the left half of its body...the elder treant was on the disadvantage heavily since it was being over numbered from all sides with all kinds of means,but what it really was hindered at was its inability to regenerate properly which was my fault and his pain of course...the cut off parts couldn't regenerate because I was freezing them over every time he tried to heal them.

I ordered and just as I was doing so the treant got up for a moment leaning on a tree the treant looked at me his facial expression was nothing just a carved out tree in my opinion,but for some reason I couldn't help,but feel small amount of fear spread through my body.

Someone shouted the shout was a surprise and I didn't know what it was for until it was too late...

I chocked...just as I looked around I realized that a thick vine had made its way towards my throat strangling me and on top of that it wasn't the only vine...out of nowhere another few vines started to join in restricting me and choking me even more I couldn't resist and not too far away the treant was getting up regenerating in a frightening speed the girls were all looking towards here with wide eyes some scared some angered.

-YOU DARE !

Hobura roared a soul crushing murderous intent started seeping out of her body,the sword she was holding suddenly glowed on its own in a evil kind of way.

The others were evenly as angry moving in a very coordinated manner some running towards me while most of them fighting off the treant in front of them.

I said using my transmission link to inform everyone,hoboku who was standing in front of the battle field understood,she currently was also showing a incredible amount of killing into even her eyes had turned into pure darkness making me worried for a bit.

Hobusaku executed a skill her dual shortswords glowed a black color as she made two very flashy slashes on the treant instantly removing both of his arms,jumping back she looked back at me and saw my suffering expression very panicked,but still clear focus in her eyes...I wouldn't last long I could even hear a small cracking sound coming from my neck...

The beasts were also slowly getting here if the girls don't destroy the orb first then everything is over...

My heart suddenly felt a very hot feeling of despair my neck was burning and my mind was blacking out constantly the vines were getting harder...beneath me some of the girls were constantly cutting off the vines,but it wasn't any use there were already too many of them present,the vines on my throat especially were countless hanging me above the ground...

I didn't just yet give up...looking towards were the girls were fighting the treant I tried to pay attention a bit more and thats when I saw it...

In the mids of fighting a sole person who wore a black robe stepped forward the aura and feeling it was emitting was dangerous and deathly cool...

A Demon...no,it was hoboku...

She roared as the aura surrounding her suddenly concentrated a incredible red light came out of here eye she was using her natural ability ...but the question was what kind was it ?

I would soon figure out and as I continued watching I realized that the beasts were already present in our surroundings I didn't care about them if hoboku fails now its pretty much over...

The red light flashed onto the treant and surprisingly enough it stopped moving staring towards hoboku the orb inside of its chest was blinking on and off the treant also finally decided to move again very so slowly meeting the red light that came out of hoboku's eye as if it was a sun flare its hand stretching out wanting to reach her to stop her,but it was too late...

The vines on my throat loosened up on the spot every vine did making me crash down on the ground were the girls acted on the spot and caught me gracefully hugging me in the process with very worried and tearful looks on their faces...I coughed for a bit feeling my throat a bit too sore...

I wasn't calm yet I looked around and sure enough the beasts that were only a few meters away from us collapsed onto the ground returning back to their dead state we really won huh ?

With this finally over the girls immediately looked around noticing that some of the others were taking a head start on me they started running to catch up a little bit hobusaku was without the doubt the fastest behind her followed hobura and hoboku who had small tears on their faces when they all started hugging me choking me all over again !

The victory also brought multiple notification alerts were to my attention most of the notifications were about the level ups the girls had received for defeating such opponent elevating everyone towards level 10 bringing them to their own individual evolution they would take...

I dismissed the notifications for now and just waited until the girls would stop choking and violating me I swear one of the girls even tried to pull my pants or my shirt off their hands were also not very tame to be exact...

I looked at hoboku for a moment seeing my gaze she smiled at me winking at me,I knew that this girl right here had done all of this through her eye ability the looking at the treant now I knew what kind of effect it had.... the treant before my eyes had literally turned into solid stone I asked hobura to smash it into a half which she did for me,while she was doing that I stared at her sword too a bit suspicious about it...in the mid of the fight the sword had emitted a strange evil aura I wasn't what it was doing,but it didn't seem to have caused any harm towards hobura on top of that she didn't even seemed to have noticed that it was doing that...strange.

I put away that topic for now and instead just looked at the shattered treant the chest was open throughly and without a doubt the core was still inside no longer purple though rather turned into a grey hard stone...

I took the core into my hand and inspected it for a moment...all of this trouble caused by this little thing inside my hand ? Thats just unbelievable...

I thought a bit irritated with myself and just as I was thinking about it the core suddenly shattered in my hand !

Hobura saw this and looked alarmed so were the others...a yellow dust enveloped me for a moment as I started coughing getting it inside my throat...I dropped the remains of the petrified orb onto the ground and stepped back for a bit still coughing,but finally calming down...

I said everyone nodded towards me and like this we all started to go back home I felt slightly fuzzy inside,but I ignored that feeling finishing this request was pretty helpful towards me with my relation towards vulgan I would report this to him tomorrow or the day after tomorrow..

I checked my status window to see if anything was wrong with me...as it sees I had lost 40% of my hp I would need a lot of rest to get the hp back what a bummer...

While thinking like this we all crossed the sea of corpses heading home for today.
