I started running towards the deeper part of the forest the voice was also getting a bit louder the nearer i was getting the vegetation and moist air was getting even more thicker the tree sizes also almost covered the whole ground making it almost go into complete darkness.
The reason i am doing this is because the voice definitely activated by my skill meaning its something important i never liked to grief making myself think of a situation where i would say "what if " i never liked self pity in the first place but because of my strange glass like body i would mostly indulge myself with self pity i would accept things like if i can't do it then there is no way still i would at least try.

The voice was getting clearer and louder and i was still running towards the place where the explosion happened my running probably called some wild animals from somewhere i could swear that when i past a bush i could see red glowing eyes from there i dismissed that thought and continued to run further and finally after 10 minutes or so i had arrived at that place.

I shouted i didn't have time to look around the place looked like a giant crater it was rather too big to inspect it would take too much time me shouting also gave away my own spot making it even more dangerous the sun was going down too after 2 or 3 hours it would be completely dark i needed to find that thing.

Not really a friend but i am here to help anyways.The voice was coming from the left side somewhere.The crater was very big the center of the crater was black and scorched all over the edges had some trees half way destroyed and burned leaving only some pieces of the stump in a charcoal looking manner there were also a lot of boulders split into million pieces i was really curious what kind of magic would be able to something like this....

And suddenly when i was about to continue walking in the corner of my eyes what i saw was a faint light glowing from one of the bushes i cautiously walked over there i didn't have a weapon or anything but i really wished i had one who said it would not be dangerous !

No joke he was really a slime usual i would see slimes in video games being animated looking all round and cute the slimes were famous for being the very first noob monster and this one wasn't different.It was green and see through the core of the slime the nuclear was making faint lights over all it looked a bit disgusting but it kinda reminded me of jelly the surface was a bit glittery meeting the setting sun...what do i do now ?

Substance ? what substance ? i was thinking in hyper speed what would a slime need to recover ? i never relaly thought about that i usually just go kill the slime and over but how do i keep a slime a alive ? and then it dawned on me.

I opened my storage and took out some 8 different edible roots i showed it to the slime and asked.

I placed all of the 8 roots on the slime and watched as the roots started flowing down and started dissolving into bubbles if you ever saw an esperin bubble when you put it into a glass of water you know what i mean.

I looked around the sun was still up well kinda i need a fire !
I quickly started walking on the edges of the crater collecting small branches and so on i also walked to a boulder and started collecting very sharp rock pieces and putting them into the storage after 30 minutes of preparation i came back where the slime was his core was shining a bit i could see a tiny crack in the nuclear a.k.a the core of the slime from my knowledge the nuclear is the life of the slime sorta like a heart its just both heart and brain in one package.
I took out a small piece of wood and another small sharp rock and made a V shaped hole into the piece of wood then i took out a little branch stuck it into the hole and started swirling it between my hands what i was trying to do was creating a friction...i was looking at the sun sweat was coming out from my head the sun was almost gone i was sitting here for about more then an hour trying to make this my hands were hurting but compared to dying this was nothing my fear of dying was keeping from stopping and finally !

There was a small smoke the friction was working near me i had nest to catch fire i faintly blow'ed the little flames into the nest and sure enough a flame was made.

With the only thought i could talk to the slime it was bizarre how i could understand it we made some small talk but the slime didn't seem to be able to understand many words the name of the slime was also the somewhat intelligent slime it seems like this slime is a unique one.
we were sitting for about 2 hours i didn't want to sleep because who knew what would happen i wasn't really tired surprisingly my stamina bar was also full i also discovered that i could give orders to the slime on thought it would move on my command and do what i wanted it to and about food the slime seemed like he only needed grass to survive it can also eat a lot more then that and grow i gave it another 4 roots and it grew a bit.The slime didn't have much information but it was a funny guy...
I also checked the status window and another tab which was named pets when i pressed it the name of the slime appeared the somewhat intelligent slime after the name it had a star on it and nothing else i clicked its name.
