Our preparation was swift and precisive the girls didn't ask why we were leaving so suddenly the only thing they cared about was that I said that we were leaving which is why we were leaving.
They also got very much used to my sudden calls of alert,when making such sudden and bold shouts things would always turn out to be somewhat bad or unexpected which is why they didn't dare to waste a minute on useless talking and simply moved making themselves useful,in either case I was going to explain it to everyone once were on the road,but for now we needed to start moving on quickly.
With that in mind I also didn't loiter around like an idiot waiting for everyone to get ready and instead called the surveillance slimes through the transmission asking them to show me the current position of the group of people that were being chased by that so called snake,as of now I had no idea what we were dealing with,but knowing the animals in this forest I immediately assumed that the beasts that were living here couldn't be normal or harmless even the smallest bug or worm in this area was a horrifying monster with huge teeth and claws spitting acid,this alone already says a lot about the horrors in the forest in which you can already guess on what level of horror a snake may be.
Fortunately enough the snake and the group seemed to be running in a moderate speed even though I still haven't seen neither of these two,but I could still tell with the way the slimes were taking their time to adjust towards the right angle of vision between themselves in the trees and finally after a few more seconds my vision instantaneously changed ,what was busy dirt field in front of my eyes quickly shifted towards a place with a lot of trees and lush green with leafs and small branches everywhere showing it to me from a above view...
-Where are they ?
I muttered,a bit confused for a second as I couldn't see anyone in this area,the hearing wasn't the best since I was using the slime as a medium nor was the perception of the earth the only thing I could trust right now was my vision in either case I could shift it towards all around me without a problem,but as much as I looked around I still couldn't find anyone...
Did the slimes make a mistake ?
I wondered,not really sure if I should ask again or if I was just being blind right now,fortunately enough it was the latter.
(WRAHHHGHHHH!)
Suddenly a monstrous roar cold be heard coming this way,the roar was so loud and horrifyingly deep that it literally made the section of the forest shake a little the vibration directly felt underneath the slimy body of the slime as it shook like a cup of pudding,the trees and bushes in particular were shaking and whistling with dozens or so birds flying up into the sky fleeing from what was about to come and the hidden beasts that stood in their position revealing themselves,incredible intent of fear showing in their eyes as they ran for their lives...
My eyes couldn't help,but turn wide for a moment,the roar was short and even though it was short it was enough to make everyone run between their tails in fear,I had never seen something like this before if it was some kind of dragon or a huge dinosaur like beast than I would understand,but a snake ?
I gulped,I wasn't fearful or anything nor did I feel nervous at the moment,but still it couldn't be helped that I started to get second thoughts about this,inevitably I had no choice,but to help glasses girl either way.
If I wanted to help rimulu I needed to help glasses girl first,put glasses girl and her people out of harms way or at least try to make the beast go the other way instead...rather I would also really liked to know who it was the snake was chasing after..
The thought momentarily crossed my head and just as if someone was giving me a answer far off to the right you could see the tall and thick trees starting to fall down like domino pieces,the falling trees were creating a pattern leading all the way towards the slime I was using for surveillance,I kept quiet to myself and stopped thinking as I fully concentrated my eyes towards where I assumed the beast would pop out of...
While staring at that particular spot for a few seconds I started to hear another sound...
(wahhh...)
It was very faint at first,but slowly it started to get louder and louder until finally I could identify it...
-Is...is that someone crying ?
I asked myself not really sure,I could only think about for a few seconds until suddenly.

It happened,in a split second,a very distinctive shine could be seen coming from the direction I was staring at,there was a very sharp sound coming from it too,focusing my eyes even further I tried to see what happened and when I did I saw it...
A tree that was blocking a path had suddenly been cut clean ! And that wasn't it,the moment it was cut through the tree immediately feel forward with full force someone had kicked it down,I kept my eyes tight and at the next second I finally saw the silhouettes of 3 people jumping off the stump of the newly cut down tree.

My eyes weren't blinking at all fully concentrated towards the 3 individuals that were coming down,because it was a bit too fast to follow I couldn't see their facial expression properly I observed them without a pause and as I continued watching I saw a very exquisite feature that caught my eye as these three landed down onto the ground.
Golden locks of long hair...
The sun was up high streaming through the entire forest with its warm rays.The golden long hair on this person almost seemed as if they were reflecting those sun rays..
No....
Rather it looked as if they were absorbing it creating a astounding image both beautiful and mysterious alike my eyes couldn't help,but become momentarily stuck into those strands of golden hair wondering what they were...
Fortunately enough my fascination towards the golden hair was very short lived,there were far more important things to be concerned about then someones hair one of which was the cry that I heard earlier which now didn't sound like a cry,but more like a whine instead,the one who was whining was actually the person coming from the middle the one with the fascinating golden hair who also turned out to be the only girl from this group,the other two were also very unique on their own with jet black and milky white hair respectively both also being tall and muscular teen males.
Narrowing my eyes,I looked at these 3 people more properly they had already landed onto the ground and were now running at top speed more precisely running for their lives really,not as fast as hobusaku I have to say,but fast enough to say that they were pretty experienced with this,while watching them I just wonder who these people were,but then my eyes started to pick up onto their outer appearance some more clues in particular and not just their hair color,but something entirely else that I didn't notice from the start...
These people...they had animal ears ?!
I shouted out inside my head very much intrigued as my mind temporarily went blank for a second as I looked at those pair of triangle shaped fluffy ears they had sticking out of the tops of their heads,I couldn't tell if those ears were real or not,but that wasn't all they didn't just have animal ears they also had tails !
Real tails sticking out of their bottoms from their pants going up and down as they ran...
-Beastmen...
I muttered to myself,a bit surprised really,but not very shocked as I already knew of the existence of these people already as they were one of the more prominent races that had a kingdom I even had seen creatures close to beastmen like rokuten who looked like a dog or the lamia who were half snakes.
On top of that I even planned on going to the beast kingdom first because vulgan told me that they didn't have any slavery laws in that country or discriminated against another race which was perfect for us,but still.
I scratched my head lightly.
What should I say really,its something like a fantasy or a dream maybe ? Normally people would usual have a fetish over it and I am not saying I am one of those people of course I like animal looking...no no no...lets not think about this if I continue I am sure that I would just waste time...
I told myself quickly getting myself under control as I calmed down and continued watching these three from the tree above,the black one in particular was the fastest and it looked like he was holding back really just to let the other two keep up with him while the golden haired one was the slowest,she didn't look tired or anything,but her leg movement was just too lacking,the white one didn't have a problem he was a bit confusing as he both didn't seem to have a problem with the speed nor could he run faster its as if this was the best he could do already which made him look awkward...
A very confusing bunch I thought,at least their facial expressions now were the same which was the look of absolute terror as they ran.
It didn't seem like they were about to stop or run out of energy soon and with the way they were running right now they would soon clash with glasses girl's camp,the estimated time for that to happen was close to 20 to 30 minutes if they keep up this pace which wasn't very good if you didn't already guess.
I really had no time to think anymore,looking up I quickly wanted to check what was with the snake beast that was chasing these three and just as if it was being called...
A huge wide beast broke through the thick trees immediately obliterating them under its path as it revealed itself.
(WRAAAAGHHHHH)
It roared again...this time you could literally feel the anger that it was showing through its roar,it was enraged to no end its eyes shining a wild red as if it was going crazy about something and finally looking closer at it I finally figured out what it was thats making this whole incident.
