As the 2 warrior bettles collided with the ice wall i could finally see the sturdiness of wall itself which was incredible,the crudely made ice wall withstood the impact of 2 charging warrior beetles without a budge not even breaking or cracking making it a pretty good defensive mechanism,but still i can think about it later.

With those thoughts out of the way the other 6 beetles avoided the ice and surrounded me by all directions the 2 beetles that had slammed onto my wall were also slowly starting to snap out of their confusion and joining the battle…not good…being surrounding is pretty bad,i thought as i tried to think of a quick solution and smiled as i raised my right creating a frost vortex on my palm.

-Its really hot how about you cool down ?

I said to no one in particular as i slammed the giant vortex in my hand towards the ground a round frost wave around me stopping the charging beetles on their tracks as they suffered the backlash of the wave freezing parts of their bodies,but not enough to actually disable them…which wasn’t what i was after of course.

With the added time i concentrated on my surrounding area and summoned a mighty mist into the area…through the level ups on my and i was able to control 25 meters in radius around me giving me more space to hold my opponents which was a good thing since the wave couldn’t have been possible without this expansion.

The time it took to summon the mist was only 3 to 4 seconds the beetles were also slowed because of the mist which was all so better for me,controlling the mist was easy it was the same principle as the drill just a lot smaller and with that done i started to create a giant frosty whirlwind around me clearing the sight of the area for a bit and looking around as i saw the 8 beetles trying to charge towards me,but hindered by the heavy wind flow and cold pressure that was slowly seizing them up and then finally.

(Crack)

I looked towards the beetle on the left,i saw its front limbs starting to freeze up in the whirlwind becoming a crude shaped frost claw which was working its way up and down towards the body as it tried to reach towards me slash at me only 8 meters away struggling to move anymore as the light inside of its disgusting little eyes started to go out the frost covering its body entirely making it into a ice statue…

-Its over…how disappointing

I sighed looking down as i saw notifications boxes appear one after another.

Seeing the notifications pop up in front of me informing me of my level ups and skills made me quite pleased as i dismissed them all and looked around the area for a bit to see what i had done…looking around you could see 8 ice statues surrounding me at the field they individually held different kind of poses,the battle wasn’t long and probably only lasted for about 10 or 20 seconds to finish which made me a bit disappointed because of how easily i had defeated them after all i tried to us a really flashy way to defeat them lose was never in my calculation since i knew very well how powerful the ice was and cold literally freezing someone in mere seconds.

Someone yelled making me twitch for a second as i heard the voice guessing that the girls must have probably heard the storm coming out to check if everything was alright.

Thinking about the situation i turned towards the girls about to tell them that everything was fine and that i wasn’t hurt,but when i turned towards them my whole body froze as i took in the scenery in front of me…

At that moment i also dissolved the ice wall and revealed a beautifully nude hoboku standing in front of me only 6 meters away…i laughed faintly seeing her conflicted so much about what she should do,but in the end her stomach won over making her walk back towards the bath room taking one last moment to look at me showing me a very seductive smile at the end promising me that it wasn’t the end yet her chase would continue…

This fight may have been harder then the bugs actually i thought as i stayed like this for about 5 minutes finally able to calm down a bit shaky,but alright returning towards my work finishing the harvest feeding the bug corpses to the slimes and then starting to cook the lunch.

I muttered while stirring the soup looking inside and thinking deeply into it…while doing so i wondered how blondies group was holding up fine ? i guess they are able to survive is what i want to say…i will soon need to think about them too meeting them maybe ?

I thought,but wasn’t so sure about the idea feeling slightly repulsed about it as i could evenly have them just killed,but no i won’t do so having them as friends is much more valuable and i already told her that i would help them to some extend i also got reminded that i promised that i would tell her about the dark elves if i get any more information about them which i would do after the lunch.

On top of that there were far too many things that i had to think about such as the humans that would start coming into this forest after 5 or 4 days to exterminate the orcs,but actually trying to retrieve an item which was the so called artifact described on the scroll which lead me and hoboku towards a tomb under a mountain now collapsed with the remains of the orcs that had tried to use us and get the item buried under the hard rock and earth.

Hoboku and i were successful in our escape with the minimal amount of loss and a lot of gains such as equipment,skills and information plus that artifact which was actually a dragon egg…i still had no clue what to do with it handling it was too dangerous so i just kept it inside the storage hoping that one day i would end up needing it or not which was highly likely.

Food,water and clothing were no longer any issue we even had some proper equipment which was alright for now,but the excessive amount of pelts and raw materials we had with the lack of knowledge that i had to properly make us out of them made the items slightly more useless to me as they stacked up in my storage not robbing space or anything just staying there for what seems to be a eternity i knew that those items would be someday very useful to me,but right now having them produced into something like better armor or items was much more useful then having them like this sort of bothering me…

-We need crafters….people with production skills…

I muttered faintly still looking into the deep hot soup that i was stirring and tasting to keep the flavor just right i added another round of dry crushed leaves that i had made previously waiting for a bit to let the flavor sink into the soup returning with my train of thought.

Yes,i need someone or people with production skills maybe even just commission the items,but having someone on my group who are able to craft something just seemed a bit more easier then actually wasting money or items to do it…but then again this itched the question even more…where do i find such people ? the dark elves ? no,they mainly use plants as their crafting material they would most likely refuse to touch animal skin it isn’t even confirmed that they would even accept my trade,then do i find someone who has the needed skill ? there seems to be a lot of transported people one of them has to have some kind of production skill maybe blondies group has one and i can ask him/her to make me something…no,that would require me to meet them in which right now i didn’t feel comfortable enough to do so…what am i missing here ?

I was thinking hard continuing to stir the boiling hot soup which had now turned a brownish red color just for the temperature with the dried herbs giving it enough flavor as i tasted it through the ladle…

At that very moment a light bulb was enabled onto my brain as i found a solution to this problem…

I quickly put down the ladle and ordered the slimes to finish the lunch while i contacted the slimes which were spying the kobold village connecting onto one of the slimes sense’s watching the village once more…i looked at the impressive wooden guard tower watching the soldiers specifically observing them from head to toe analyzing them studying them for a answer i wanted to know…

In the end i smiled to myself keeping quiet nonetheless as i stared at the scale armor the kobolds were wearing.
