Rokuten said a bit surprised by the unexpected swing of events a bit recoiling towards this idea his face evidently showing that he didn't like it entirely,his reaction was normal I already predicted something like this would happen the previous fights and enmity these two villages had shared against each other wasn't just small,if I hadn't interjected it was most likely that the ratman would have demolished the kobold village and taken every resource they could find killing the kobolds with it.

Even for rokuten who was a thoughtful and straight man he couldn't just over look this issue just like that as a village chief he had to consider the well being of his people,but he also had to decide the things on his own judgment,it was already very fortunate the rokuten didn't outright refuse the offer just like that he still seemed to have a shred of consideration that could make him decide.

-I know that you and your people wouldn't really like this,but this deal is very beneficial to both you and the ratman themselves they have the mine,but even with the stones they are lacking the necessary knowledge and other resources to make a proper use out of them while to the opposite you need the from them to use them to strengthen yourself even more...this isn't a matter of who hates who hate,it is a matter of who will work with the other to achieve their goals as I said before depending on me is something very good,but if you continue to stay like this then I am not sure I will always be here to help you out,the same goes for the ratman the village chief of the ratman village had already agreed on making the trade...

I said,my words seemed to have hit a significant part of rokuten as he eyes started to squirm left and right his hands gripped tightly thinking deeply about his response,it was the exact same as the village chief of the ratman the decision was hard on both of the sides they needed to find the best way to keep their people safe in this one aspect these two village chiefs weren't different to the least...the cared about their people caring more about them then themselves.

Looking at rokutens eyes I could already see that he was still very anxious about the deal,but nonetheless his judgment got the better of him he knew that I was really giving him the chance and that I wasn't forcing him to make the trade with the ratman,it was an opportunity I was giving him the result was unknown,but if both villages tried very hard on their own...then it won't be an issue to have them understand each other.

Wylniva called out,holding my shoulder as she reminded me of the time of the day...we already sat here far too long,I wasn't planning on staying in this village for the night the girls and I all wanted to get back home already...it was time.

I exclaimed quickly remembering about the while opening my and summoning a huge pile of different colored stones faintly on the ground,these were the I had gotten from the treasure room inside the lamia cave,for right now I was only going to give them half of the amount I had on my body,if I gave them too much then the trade wouldn't be very necessary towards the kobolds and the amount was probably good enough to do experiments and other tests so they didn't need to be very careful about the use and could use these stones very casually without any pressure...but knowing rohimen for a bit,I am not very sure if he would even let anyone waste a single stone.

Rokuten was wide eyed,his mouthing gaping and forming a incredible hole as he watched me summon this shining stones out of nowhere creating a huge pile inside his living room that almost reached the ceiling,even wylniva was a bit surprised it didn't show in her face directly,but I could see a small twitch appear on her right eyebrow,she saw me clean up the whole room of treasure inside the lamia cave and at the time she seemed to have thought that I used a dimensional pouch or a spatial ring to take the items,but after observing me for a long time she probably figured out that I wasn't using neither of these items and felt confused of how I was making this possible,I thought that magic that creates space would be common,but it seems like it isn't the case,if I ever go into public,I have to be careful not to show this to anyone in the open.

I thought finishing up summoning the stones and facing back towards the stunned rokuten,it took him a few seconds to calm down his eyes staring at the pile of that were piled inside his living room as if it was a storage room no,his room wasn't even worth calling a storage room if you compare the value of these two things,he knew exactly what these stones were because his own sword the flame sword was also a weapon that was infused with the very same stone made by the best blacksmith in this village and also unique on its own as it is the only magical weapon,the trade with the ratman concerning the had rokuten already very excited,but now with this amount already in his door steps,he couldn't possibly feel not ecstatic about it,his feelings were literally thumping with excitemen and disbelieve,but soon enough he calmed down shaking his head he avoided looking at the stones anymore scared that his greed would take over...He faced me seriously.

He said his words were incredibly respectful and he also showed it through his actions bowing down while lowering his head to me...My face flushed seeing him like this,I still wasn't very used to this kind of treatment and like always I still didn't like it all too much either especially towards a friend like rokuten so without wasting anymore time I quickly grabbed onto rokuten and brought him back up onto his legs,he already knew that I didn't like such treatment,I hadn't even told him this before so he quickly stopped just giving me another small thanks while clearing his throat to push off the embarrassment.

Wylniva who stood behind us still laughed enchantingly almost teasing our interaction,both me and rokuten ignored her laughter and just got back to normal as if this never happened.Finally I was about to give my goodbyes to this friend,but just as I was about to do so,he also quickly seemed to have remembered something and walked away for a slightly moving towards a huge wooden chest that was in the corner of the room.

-This here,the tailor said that you have requested clothing for you and your companions !

Rokuten exclaimed quickly bringing out a big stack of finely folded clothing with all kinds of colors...looking at it and listening to rokutens words,I remembered that I had indeed requested clothing for both me and the girls...at the time I had only requested it for me,hobusaku and hobura,but looking at the huge stack and more remaining inside the big chest behind rokuten,I could tell that the tailor didn't just make clothing for me and the other two girls even though he didn't know the exact size of the other girls he probably took the measurement for hobusaku and hobura as a example and made different sizes to match them accordingly seeing the clothing finally made and with the underwear which was the first thing on the stack made me very happy and excited.

Weapons and armor were good and helpful,but casual clothing like shirts,pants and underwear were just too tempting and comfortable to refuse...even now I don't have a second pair of underwear,I have to always wash my single available one and go without underwear for a bit which feels incredibly itchy and uncomfortable since the leather armor I wear was a bit hard and the pants too rough to make it comfortable,but these new clothing looked very fine and refined my hesitation was also gone my hands moving on their own as I took the entire stack feeling the soft and smooth fabric of my fingers touching the fine clothing....

I gave a small thanks to rokuten looking at him gratefully as I considered my next words..

Wylniva said,her voice wasn't concerned about the issue on hand,but she was right on that aspect...in her eyes maybe what I was doing was useless or wasteful,but I liked to think that it wasn't like that.

Wylniva suddenly stopped in her tracks,hearing my words she was stunned locked onto the ground as she stared down her eyes showing a luster of deep surprise,she didn't seem to have ever guessed that the girls were goblins at first she probably assumed that they were since birth this revelation seemed to have caused a lot turmoil inside of her prideful self,that superiority she showed against the girls was also starting to waver...

I wasn't expecting her to react like this,but I wasn't going to speak either and just waited for her.

She muttered to herself sighing as she crossed her arms together,I couldn't even guess what she was thinking,but when I probed her feelings for a moment,I felt a incredibly hot willpower and unyieldingness ignite inside her heart...she seemed normal from the outside,but within her eyes I could see that burning flame getting stronger.

So she was finally getting it huh...competition is a good thing so I shouldn't interrupt.

I thought silently pretending as if I didn't see anything and just turning back to the road wylniva was also finally moving forward her steps starting to get a bit more heavier then before as her pride was burning hot.
