The female hobgoblins already on time started to prepare for their hunt for magic beasts to gather meat for our future provision,but also mainly going out to get the magic cores inside of the beasts...
Anyways before they got out to do their work they first stood in a line and waited for me to assign someone to guard me for today,it was only 1 person really and it was purely my decision to have 1 person since I judged that it was fairly enough security at first I even thought that I wouldn't need such a thing as a guard,but the female hobgoblins beat me to the decision...they complained to the decision really wanting someone to look after me so the only thing I could do was reduce it to 1 person...hmm last time I had chose hobusaku just because I had a pretty good feeling about her and choosing her again seemed a bit unfair so in the end my selection was random choosing Hakuro to guard me for today,she was the one who had the "Illusion Magic" the reason I chose her was a bit random and just a thought really I wasn't too intimate with everyone here so I wanted to start spending time with these girls one,by one to make my bonds with them a bit more stronger.
When Hakuro heard me calling her name it seemed to have caught her unexpectedly,but nonetheless she seemed very happy about it and quickly paced towards my side the others seeing this were a bit stiff and grumpy,but accepted it and quickly left the base with goodbyes towards me hoboku even came as far to get a hug from me sneaking in a cheeky kiss on the neck and running away...
After I told my goodbyes to the girls I also turned around and started walking towards the camp lately I had noticed that it was getting a bit windier and colder then usually...of course I wasn't affected or felt any of it,but sense's just told me that it was a bit colder then usual,it seemed like the weather was changing,but it could also be just a change of atmosphere and nothing else maybe it was about to rain ?
Thinking like this I wasn't sure how to deal with it really if I decide to visit vulgan's village I should really ask him about the weather and time of this place it would be very essential and crucial for me to know such things to prepare for them even now I may need some counter measures for this I didn't want the others to freeze...

Oh right...I almost forgot that I had a follower around me suddenly going quiet with someone present is really not good and can turn into a misunderstanding...thinking about her question for a bit I answered light heartedly and said.
-Hmm I may want to study the "Water Magic" book for a bit on the field you could also work on your Illusion Magic I am pretty excited about your results actually because I think that you can do pretty awesome things with your magic...
Hakuro hearing me compliment her felt flattered and looked down a bit embarrassed nodding her head to me.

She said pretty energetic a bit out of character,but thats probably because she was nervous for any reason.
Like this both me and hakuro got to the field and started doing our own things both of us sat next to each other pretty close while we practiced our magics I needed to have a bit of practice for now I was also planning to do something daring today after the female hobgoblins would come back and my water magic was pretty much something I needed to work on to be successful in it.

While trying to memorize the magic circles in the book,hakuro who was sitting next to me groaned a bit frustrated...she was currently trying to completely replicate the magic circle of her own spell to start reverse engineering it and make her own spell...it was hard to do since you needed to concentrate very hard to be able to fully see the picture of her magic circle,it was also very high since this kind of work heavily depended on her "Mana Mastery" when leveled up high enough would also make it easier for the picture to appear in your mind she currently on LvL.5 in her Mana Mastery the level ups were pretty fast,but its because she was doing this a lot since she got her magic she also didn't get many chances to use her
We had been practicing for about 30 minutes now and I knew that hakuro had only a few minutes ago successfully opened the imagine in her mind,but failed to hold it her concentration breaking a bit while she used her other hand to draw on the ground.
Closing the book I looked towards hakuro smiling a bit I grabbed her hand to calm her down,which worked pretty well as she looked at me a bit surprised it was as if her heart stopped beating,but quickly raced when I let go of her...oh boy did I make it worse ?

The sound of a barks could be heard as 5 little crimson pups came out of nowhere,ruby was leading the pack and quickly jumped onto my lap the others caught up and also started to rub on me getting onto position next to me and starting to nod off one after another...I could feel through our bond that these little guys seemed to be really tired and also needed some rest ruby in particular took her most comfortable spot and laid down on my lap closing her eyes and starting to nod off too she was making a very comfortable face when I patted her while she slept it made her sleep a bit more easily and comfortable,the others were also using me as a pillar of comfort and heat the image I was in looked pretty cute If I had to be honest.

Hakuro seeing me taking care of the little guys this naturally seemed to be impressed while looking at me,but at the same time she seemed to be envious or more like jealous to be precise I could feel it and her stare also showed it through her intensity she seemed to long for something like this for some reason..

I asked...from what I could understand the female hobgoblins didn't seem to be really interested in the crimson pups and never really found them cute or anything almost all of them ignored them and sometimes gave them food or their left overs which were bones mostly they weren't cold or indifferent to the pups though no its just that they were uninterested in them,from what I know hakuro seemed to be the same as everyone else,but she showed this kind of gaze when we were eating too it was also at the time when the pups came for affection,not that she was the only one who stared at me,but I just figured that she wanted to pat them like a normal person would...I was wrong of course.
Hearing my question made Hakuro suddenly flinch as she thought again gently shaking her head for a no,she asked me something instead a bit nervous and bashful at that while fidgeting with her hands...

Her question was a bit out of the blue,but I didn't think it was wrong and just did it for her if she really wanted it,I also could understand why she was looking at me and the pups this way,she also wanted affection of course and giving it to her was something I was obligated to do and did without a second word.

Feeling my hand touching her head and rubbing it was a bit too sudden for her,but she didn't resist and slowly started to go into a daze from the feeling she was getting from my hand a smile also emerged from her lips feeling comfortable and making a small purring sound of her own,because hakuro seemed to like it so much I didn't stop for a while and just let her have her fun her body was also getting a bit sloppy so I let her head rest on my left lap while on the other lap ruby slept peacefully,this kind of transition was a bit uncalled for,but not really bothersome since I expected such a thing.
Seeking affection isn't only sexual most of the time it is direct and skin to skin contact and in other cases it is just verbally too to be praised and to be appreciated by the person you like,but most of the time its just being close to that someone since the girls didn't seem to have a very high amount of shame they don't really care what they do and are direct with it,with me at least I think not sure about other guys actually,but so far they didn't seek such intentions towards other guys which were really few so far so I wasn't sure...
Anyways I didn't want to think about it since it was slowly starting to ruin my mood so instead I continued to memorize the magic circles in the book while patting hakuro who was laying on my lap it was pretty natural and my hand didn't hurt since I had a lot of stamina...the memorizing was hard and pretty annoying since I needed to remember every single line and shape in my mind and when I finally was able to remember 1 of the circles perfectly well I started to activate it through my mind sometimes slipping and doing it all over again and sometimes mistaking a line,but nonetheless I was able to do it and sure enough a notification box appeared before me.

Looking at my status window I wondered if it was anything special in this world since I had met vulgan he had told me a lot of interesting things such as adventurers,but he never mentioned anything about the status window itself,but he did say that a "Appraiser" appraised my fruit and identified it to be a divine quality item,so does that mean they know about the status window ? Thinking about its a bit confusing since the female hobgoblins couldn't open the status window nor did they know about it so does it mean that only a certain race has status windows ? Its a curious topic something really worth knowing if I visit vulgan's village..

While thinking about this topic hakuro who was getting very comfortable on my lap snapped out for a moment when I stopped patting her when I got distracted from the notification box.
When she got back to herself she seemed to be confused why she had been lying down on my lap and quickly got up from it apologizing to me that she was nodding of while on her guard duty feeling that she had it wrong I quickly told her what happened,when she heard about what really happened it made her really astound for some reason she didn't seem to have any knowledge of what had happened while I patted her she only seemed to have felt very happy at that time and couldn't control herself...knowing this I was also slightly intrigued and also curious making me want to test something on her first.

She made a surprised expression,but quickly obeyed and got face to face with me sitting right in front of me our knees were touching one another,Hakuro didn't understand what I was doing,but she wasn't going to question it and just let it happen.
I wasn't going to do anything wrong to her all of a sudden I only wanted to know something first..
Thinking like this I started patting her again this action was surprising to her and like the first time she didn't resist and then slowly hakuro was starting to go into a happy daze like last time showing a small smile and giving off a comfortable purr her body was also getting sloppy coming face down onto my lap...so it is like this huh...
I felt like I had just gained some useful and useless knowledge at the sametime it also made me comment inside my head about this scene as I muttered to the dazed hakuro on my lap with a smile on my face.
-You are supposed to be the person to hypnotize not the other way around...
I laughed quietly still patting the dazed hakuro until I saw a notification box appear before me.
