Currently I was sitting next to the patient Hasumi told me about,she was crying and spasming in pain experiencing small amount of shock I quickly came to action and summoned the water skin splashing a handful of water onto her face waking her up completely..

She was lost thats for sure...she looked around slowly for a few moments finally noticing that I was staring at her from above...there was a small strike of fear momentarily resurfacing through her eyes as she looked at me she wanted to say something most probably shout,but the moment she opened her eyes I stuffed a spoonful of thick soup into her mouth she was surprised and slightly frightened by this action probably thinking that I had put something really weird into her mouth...

-Stop cringing and eat already the soup is going to get cold if you don't

I said with a hard tone in my voice she immediately reacted feeling intimidated,she started swallowing the thick warm substance in her mouth almost wanting to gag it out instinctively,but stopped halfway realizing something about the taste.

-It...it taste good...

She muttered finally saying a sensible word,of course after this revelation this girl was very confused she immediately stared into me trying to figure out who I was she looked around her for a moment and then tried to recklessly stand up on her own raising her body,but then....

-owww...damn it hurts ahh shit !

She cursed out of pain getting down groaning from the pain that was on her left shoulder and right rib,small amounts of tears had gathered in her eyes,but she wiped them away and once again looked at me instead noticing that was still holding the bowl looking at her with a bored expression...she had a question that was for sure.

-Who are you...

-I am the one who saved your ass now shut up and eat...

Without wasting a second I stuffed another spoonful of the thick soup into her mouth she wanted to gag once again,but stopped the second calming herself she swallowed it a bit painfully looking at me slightly enraged.

-you could have given me heads up you ass !

She exclaimed angrily,but when I gave her the third spoonful she didn't reject it and instead quickly devoured it before I could force it into her...I could see that she had quiet a lot of things forced into her.

Like this I continued to feed this girl in particular not giving her a chance to speak to me and just giving her spoon after spoon of thick soup which eventually made her slightly tired and stomach full the medicine inside the soup also started to take effect lessening the amount of strain she was enduring to a more bearable level and also giving her a more easier time breathing of course.

-You finally finished thank god now don't tell me you have a second bowl because I can't take it anymore !

She said her voice mixed with a tone of amusement she seemed a bit too alright in my eyes I wasn't expecting anyone here to wake up feeling normal all of a sudden...but she seemed like she was which was probably a lie.

Looking around for a moment I saw most of the people who were hurt and tired laying around half-awake and eating some of the soup the female hobgoblins were giving them...the soup was relatively mixed with a few painkiller herbs to make the patients have a calmer sleep and even now most of the patients didn't finish the soup since they were very slow they weren't even aware half of the time what they were doing it seems only swallowing which looked pitiful another half seemed to be also completely knocked out some just twitching painfully...it was bad pretty bad...restoring from this can take time.

-Hey i am talking to you thick head are you even listening who are you even ?!

The girl who had only woken up a few minutes ago said to me making me immediately snap out of my thoughts and put my attention towards her,my eyes were a pure cold blue as I stared at her she also flinched seeing me and stopped talking in which I replied.

-Isn't it obvious who I am ?

I said,trying to sound as much as unfriendly as possible this kind of treatment helped people to expect very little from me or just outright ignore me I didn't want their attention and having them develop some kind of affection towards me as their savior was no good they would expect me to take them with me which I didn't want of course.

But this girl didn't seem to be affected by it and just talked to me normally I didn't mind since I was continuing to be this way until we go home of course.

She asked with a lifeless tone which I answered evenly knowing full well what she wanted to hear.

-No,they aren't dead to the very last man most of them didn't even last to experience the pain.

-And steven ?

She asked now her voice sounded a bit more furious,but calmed significantly after what I said.

-He died in a way he would even remember in the afterlife a cold chilling death of course

Seeing my cold gaze she immediately believed in what I said and looked up again breathing faintly trying to rest,but still talking to me.

-Thank you...thank you for what you did...not just for saving us,but also for killing those bastards..

-Who said I was saving you ?

I asked with a mocking laugh hearing this she slowly lashed her head towards me for a moment with a knowing smile on her face answering me.

-If you didn't save us then you wouldn't have wasted that bowl of food on me or the others,from what I can tell you even put in some kind of medicine in it to help my injuries which in fact are almost healed for some reason a bit painful,but I survive which seems pretty odd to me as I remember how it was only a few days ago...

I was slightly surprised by her quick and precise deduction I realized that she was a bit more smarter then she looked.

With that said the girl slowly and surely raised her right hand towards me holding it for a handshake introducing herself.

She said her voice trembling for a moment,but she didn't give up and just held still waiting for me to introduce myself,but bad for her I ignored her and just left her hanging I didn't like the way she was acting to me getting involved with her wasn't something I needed really.

Seeing that i wasn't going to shake her hand she laughed sarcastically muttering to herself with a slight hurt expression.

-Yeah...you wouldn't want to shake hands with a dirty whore like me would you ? can't blame you...

I felt a small amount of rage surge through my eyes hearing that slowly looking towards her my voice agitated as it raised telling her in almost threatening manner.

This girl really didn't know when to stop which made me sigh for a moment.I shouldn't be sitting here if I didn't want to listen actually.

With that thought I started to get up from my seat,but as I was about to leave I felt a very strong force gripping on my wrist keeping me down,because my strength was really low I couldn't possibly resist which was pathetic on itself,but what was even more pathetic was the person who was holding me down...she was valeria of course who was injured and still keeping me down...I had looked at her a bit more closer at the beginning,she was also a decent beauty with big breasts and blond long hair which was now pretty dirty and messed up in couple places her facial features were also stained and dirty,but I knew that behind those things there was a pretty cute girl hidden away she also smelled a little bad which I didn't mind actually.

Feeling confused and slightly threatened I looked towards her I was slightly inclined on using my magic,but decided against it since I noticed that she wasn't trying to hurt me when I looked at her desperate eyes calling out to me.

-I am...i am sorry please just don't leave me I stop talking if you want to,but please can you stay here a bit more longer because I feel like you are going to disappear forever if you leave now...

Her way of speaking and mannerism was pretty suspicious and confusing to me why did she want me to stay ? For a moment I considered to tell her to let me go,but on the last second I decided against it since I could see legitimate fear and desperation in her eyes it was a look that I knew pretty well making me change my decision as I sat down next to her again sighing.

-You really don't like me do you ?

She said trying to act hurt all of sudden...this girl was just all kinds of weird.

-Listen girl..

-I don't care alright...

-Then at least call me something unique !

I thought for a moment.

She basically flipped out hearing me say that.

I laughed mockingly and answered her.

She said now sounded pretty panicked...why is she even expecting this,I felt my face turn suddenly stiff for a moment she was a bit annoying to be honest,but also comical not gonna lie,I could see that she had a pretty good way of getting a even ground with stranger,but I needed her to understand something basic here.

-Why would you want to come with me in the first place ? Aren't you scared that you would end up the same way with me like you did here ? If I was you I would stay with this group then go with someone unknown and douchy as me you don't even know who I am...

The truth in front of her was something she couldn't refute what I said was true and nothing else having me openly reject her like this also told her a few more reasons why I didn't want her,but she answered me anyways with a pretty outrages reason.

-I..I don't care yeah you may be another asshole,but,but that doesn't matter you at least cared for me so...so I believe in your actions thats why I fell in love with you on first sight !

She confessed to me making me widen my eyes for a few seconds hearing her,her face was flushed brutally as she tried to keep her calm and face me with a determined look on her face which only made me look down again with a sigh which she pretty quickly took in now a bit more hurt.

-what ?! why are you sighing are you mocking me ?! yes I love you I fell in love with you at first sight alright ! I am not lying its the truth so stop sighing already !

Her voice was panicked and loud making the people around us stare at us out of wonder the female hobgoblins in particular who were looking at louis with a hard look on their faces not really acting up against her,but observing just to make sure.

-Louis I don't love you

-Haah ! you fiend you rejected me so easily ! take responsibilities for my broken heart at least !

She said her expression looking a bit more hurtful when she had acted.

-I am not a dumb protagonist in some random novel stop acting spoiled too I need to leave and I am not going to help you my advise for you is to listen to glasses girl she will get everyone her back on track trust me...

I wanted to leave now staying any further would be bad and build more reasons for her to let me stay or take her with me she was already building those reasons in front of my eyes which was sly of her and also smart,but something I had already looked through.

This time she didn't try to stop me,but asked me either way.

-Then if I stay in this group and listen to that girl will we meet again some day ?

Her question was weird,but nothing I couldn't answer.

-Sure thing louis since I am your ally after all and its not like you are going to start from zero I will help you if you really need it thats what allies are for so don't beat it too hard and just try to become strong you don't won't things to repeat do you ?

With those words I left the scene I heard her say something before I left,but because I was already a bit far away I didn't hear it fully...she said something like "thanks" i guess ?
