-Phew...I am finally done...hehe not bad...

I said to myself looking around the field with newly created shacks and trees,I stayed busy throughout the whole day and night while the girls rested from their little drinking party,I made the big wolf shacks for the crimson wolves and also grew a giant tree in the middle of the base it was really huge and looked like a twisted nail going up entangled with even more other small trees and on top of that tree,far up you could see a dark red colored hawk making its nest peacefully.

The walls were also upgraded using the I grew more trees to the outside walls and entangled them to the original walls growing them further and making a natural ground set wall made out of hard wood,there were another 2 newly build watchtowers set and the greenery even works as a perfect disguise since it just looks like a bunch of trees huddled together from afar.

And most importantly I also finished building my shack,the roof was the only thing that was missing and I build it pretty quickly weaving the branches together and interweaving some of the leafs and then stacking them to create a proper path for the water to flow without drenching and flowing through and just for security measures I made a layer of lumber underneath the roof so it would be sturdy if someone steps on it,I hardened the roof some more using the sticky liquid that came from the slimes and kept a inside the house to act as a heater at first,but I didn't need to really.

With the remaining bricks that I had I made a fire place inside the shack making a proper clean cut in one of the corners of the roof I made the chimney come out and finished the shack without a problem.

-Finally home...

I muttered to myself looking around the place with a smile on my lips,the place was fully furnished with a proper wooden bed I had taken from the orc village a table,chairs a wardrobe the cooking utensils and shelves all of which was cleaned by the slimes looking a bit cleaner and brighter.I changed the bed sheets of the bed to soft fur because at first those gray dark sheets looked very weird to me smelling all kinds of funny,I didn't dare to lay my head on it and instead burned it to the ground.

Satisfied I turned around and started to walking out of the shack the door for now was a fur hanging down its the best I could do really...

As I left the shack I was surprisingly greeted by someone,someone who I didn't expected to get up this early.

-Lord sorron you finished your home...

Hoboku said stared at the finished roof while looking all serious about it her words seemed simple,but she held a lot of meaning to them which I understood.

-yeah its pretty good inside if you want I build you and the others one too..

Hoboku looked as if she was considering a bit,but then she shook her head and said.

-I already have my home and its right in front of me...

Her line was kinda cheesy I gotta admit,but it was sweet nonetheless which also made me laugh since it could be taken more then one way.

Hoboku and I continued this small conversation after ending it I told her to gather everyone at the entrance after they wake up,fully equipped and ready to go I wasn't sure if anyone had a hangover or not,but seeing that hoboku was fine even though she drank so much I believed that everyone else should be fine too.

Hoboku understood my order and also the serious demeanor I showed moving away and doing what she was ordered to do.

-Gruaaaa!

Frost Wing wailed beside me I smiled and patted his head...today you need to stay here little friend.I thought while simultaneously linking up with the slimes that were observing the kobold village.

A pillar of smoke could be seen not too far away coming from a small village...I stood in the outskirts of the woods observing it beside me stood hoboku and hobura doing the same thing both fully armed and equipped with a gleaming and solemn look in their eyes.

The village was tightly guarded with sturdy strong wooden walls and guard towers inside of which stood pairs of kobolds humanoid dog headed creatures holding crossbows and observing the area vigilantly.

The three of us continued staring at the medium sized village it was mid day currently and we had been waiting here for an hour and a half not emitting a single sound or movement.

-Lets move...

I muttered letting these two know that we were starting to move on they acknowledged my order and held onto their weapons with caution in their presence.

Our steps were faint and we were far from the village,but somehow the guards men inside the watchtower had spotted us yelling a dogs cry the kobold immediately pointed its crossbow towards us,but the three of us weren't panicked just yet and continued to move further with eerie sense of calmness.

The kobold didn't shot yet it waited for us to get closer and the moment we stepped into its radius 3 different crossbow bolts flew towards us in high speed both hobura and hoboku grunted seeing the arrows about to block them,but they need to just as they got close enough the crossbow bolts froze mid air both of them knew who was the cause of it and didn't bother with it anymore as they watched the frozen bolts turn around and fly back to their original owner.

-Kyuuuu !

Multiple dog whelps rang as the bolts hit their designated owner the kobolds in the watchtower clearly started to get a little bit tense knowing that their opponent was a mage.

One of the kobolds stared at me directly watching my every step and as he did he could see the icy mist appear underneath my legs swirling around me and going up creating a full plate armor made out of ice going all the way up my head with the helmet included as I also looked up at him meeting him with own cold blue eyes showing the small blizzard that was brooding in those eyes.

The kobold instantly froze seeing my eyes he couldn't help,but shiver and grind his teeth not because it was cold,but because he felt the freezing intent in my eyes directly.

-Call your village chief if he is not here in a few minutes I will destroy your village and every being that lives inside...

The kobold was shocked and also stunned in place realizing that I was able to speak in its tongue without a problem it was obviously conflicted with itself not sure what to do if anyone else would have called on such a jokingly threat no,one would have believed it,but the kobold knew for a reason or another that I told the truth that I indeed could destroy their whole village just like that.

-STAY WHERE YOU ARE MONSTER !

It yelled out angrily trying to restore some of its lost pride through yelling quickly climbing down the tower.

The other guards inside the watchtower also froze in place pulling their crossbows and pointing them towards us in a threatening manner,they knew what would happen if they pull the trigger they had seen their comrades just now getting hurt like that luckily for them I didn't kill them and instead just injured them to make them understand what would happen if they tried again.

Hobura who was standing beside me growled a bit she was starting to get impatient and a bit blood thirsty tapping her arm with her finger hoboku on the other hand was calm showing a face of indifference and dominance maybe bring these two polar opposite people to this was wrong...

I wondered to myself and as I did so the wooden gate finally opened up in front of us the three of us looked forward our attention laying with what was behind the gate slightly tense,but not all too worried the first impression was always important even if it started with bloodshed of course.

As we stared deep into the open gate we were greeted by a lot of kobold soldiers all of which held their wooden crossbows pointing them towards us their expressions showing that if we even did one wrong move they wouldn't hesitate and shot,the kobolds also didn't move further and stood behind the gate just letting us interact like this for a few seconds until someone was coming forward it showed with the way the soldiers were making way for that person.

-My men just reported me that a being has come speaking our tongue and demanding my presence if not done he said that that being would destroy our whole village without hesitation a very funny story isn't it ?

The kobold spoke finally revealing himself and what a interesting revelation it was since the kobold looked very unique compared to the others still a dog head,but the hair was white with a few strands of brown glossing through,the eyes of this kobold were also different then the others it actually missed its left eye replaced with a brown eye patch,but that wasn't the point I was getting at rather the way the other looked to me gave me a more profound and wise impression showing that this kobold was indeed the one I was looking for.

-Yes,it is indeed a funny story,but unfortunately it is also the reality of the situation I presume you are the village chief..

I spoke with their tongue and it heard my fluent speech coming out of my mouth the kobold chief narrowed his eyes at me now a bit more intrigued.

-Why are you here ? If you have no business with our village then I am asking to leave immediately we will not attack or follow you if you do that I give you my word...

The village chief offered,but I simply shook my head in front of him showing him my refusal to his offer.

-The reason I am here today is not to pick a fight or to slaughter your people without a reason village chief.I am here because I want you and your village to join me under my banner under my command and in return I shall not destroy and kill your people

As I finished talking multiple barks could be heard directed at me and the other two.

-You want to kill us ? Dream on !

-We would rather die then be ruled by you !

-Do you think we are that weak you are only 3 people !

The kobolds continued to threaten and try to discourage me,but even though they were barking they still weren't biting.

The village chief was quiet in this whole deal he and I were actually locked in a small stare contest until he finally closed his eyes and spoke again.

-QUIET !

He barked out loudly making the kobold soldiers immediately shut their traps,his gaze moved on,at me at first then at hoboku,hobura and finally stopping back at me.

-If I refuse what are you going to do ?

-I will kill you and everyone in this village plunder it until nothing is left and leave,leaving you here alone is not in my intent since you are showing a threat to me.I will also not agree to make a trade with you or make an alliance village chief,I will remind you to chose now since I won't stay any longer so do you fight or do you not fight ?

Another round of growling came from the kobolds the village chief considered my answer he was grinding his teeth not sure what to do or how to respond.

-If you don't mind me asking why are you this confident on being able to kill us all after all you are just 3 people if we fire our crossbows right now and hit you,you are dead and this conversation will also end

The village chief offered reasonably the other kobolds also agreed to the fair statement getting a bit more vicious with their glares preparing to fire,the village chief also smiled at me deviously staring at me,but just as he was doing so he saw me smile.

My smile had literally made him change his opinion on the spot as he started to understand what was going on.

-If your not convinced then I am offering you to try village chief...

The kobolds started grunting sounding as if they were ridiculing us one of them even was about to to pull the trigger for the crossbow,but the village chief immediately jumped in and pushed the crossbow the soldier held making the bolt lodge into the ground only a few centimeters away from my foot.

Seeing this hobura and hoboku growled angrily raising their weapons and spells about to retaliate the village chief was visibly panicked raising his hands and asking us to stop of a moment seeing him hesitate like this I also raised my hand and ordered these two to calm down a moment.

This conversation was taking a bit too long then I originally planned it out to be...anyways the village chief also ordered his soldiers to spot pointing the crossbows at us and met eye to eye with me again.

-How about this ? I can see that you are a man of reason and since you don't want any loss and I don't want any loss either we'l decide this by a simple duel a akri !

He offered,but I quickly raised my own hand asked him just to be sure.

-Why do you think I will be the one who is going to taste loss ? If you are that scared to face me then surrender right now there is no meaning to this duel if you aren't going to fight !

Hearing my words the village chief suddenly laughed out a bark.

-Do you really think I am that dumb enough to fall into your trap ? I admit I can see that you really do have that power to kill us all,but even then if you do so you also can't avoid having some amount of loss on your side as well since you are fighting all of us don't expect us to just stare there and take it we will bite and rip your flesh apart with every single men and woman in this town ! You are smart young man,but you also a bit too young to be messing with someone like me...Now do you accept or not ? Do you fight or do we not fight ?

The village chief asked me back using my words which was slightly unexpected,but also humorous since he had seen through my small deception.

Yes,I didn't really want to fight using everyone on my side.Some amount of damage was inevitable since they had so many on their side death was the thing I wanted to avoid the most thats why I planned such a set up,currently in the outskirts of the forest the rest of the girls were standing ready to jump into action if anything would go wrong both hoboku and hobura were tasked to bring me back to safety while I shield all three of us.

This old guy wasn't as dog brained as I thought him to be.I underestimated him slightly too much because of my fantasy knowledge I should have expected him to figure this out so fast.

I sighed with a small smile running down my lips looking up I met eyes with the old village chief and answered him.

-I agree we will settle this with a duel !
