Blondy continued describing me the "Dungeon" her friends had entered.The name of the dungeon was "Lazaru Poison Tomb" other then this there is not much information about the dungeon itself since no,one dared to adventure further inside glasses girl even tried to appraise it herself,but wasn't able to since her appraisal skill was too low which was still on lvl.3.

Dungeon.In any rpg it is a place where players go inside and defeat monsters and bosses to gain items and massive amounts of experience a normal dungeon has multiple layers or a single layer with a boss lurking at end of it,the point of a dungeon is to challenge the player into how long they could survive or clear the floors...thinking about it the concept must be the same thing,but at the same time it made me suspicious.

Where did this dungeon come from ? Blondy said that it was deep in the forest hidden behind thick vines the only reason her friends found it was because they discovered a piece of the dungeon sticking out which was the engraved entrance if this is correct it means that the dungeon was always there judging from the way the vines had grown on it so does this mean it is also something connected to the game system of this world ?

All of these were very curious and good questions,but for now I couldn't answer them without going there myself which I didn't have time for really.

My inner voice was passive and stiff it made blondy surprised for a moment as she agreed immediately closing the connection between us.

I sighed rubbing the sides of my head I started thinking about the dungeon blondy just mentioned,it was a very interesting thing and if what I think is correct it could potentially be a very useful leveling place for the girls they don't need to hunt for food anymore since we have the kobolds on our side we would also be able to find out more about that particular dungeon which I was mainly interested at.

-This comes later concentrate on the lamia first...

I told myself quickly getting back on track and contacting the ratman dakiro.

-Lord sorron ? It is me dakiro ! I have tried to contact several times throughout the past days !

Dakiro said quickly answering my call,he sounded very energetic glad and more importantly eager to have had contacted me finally.

-Yeah,sorry about that I had problems on my side,but don't we worry we will walk to your place in a few hours we won't meet,but I will give you instruction on the situation...how is it on your side ?

I asked.Dakiro quickly answered and told me that the current village which was his father agreed to the resistance they also decided to follow me under one condition that is.

-And it is ?

I asked calmly I was actually expecting something like this so I was surprised,hearing my calm voice dakiro was also a bit startled and continued speaking.

-My father wants a agreement with you the agreement for having us as a real part of your group not and not as slaves...

-I agree

I said without a hesitation.

-You..you do so quickly...

Dakiro said a bit surprised.My original intentions were never to make the ratman into slaves I also wanted them to be a part of my group if I really committed to this no need to make bad blood with them since I don't have anything against them really.

Looks didn't matter much to me they were useful and that was enough what happens further and how they improve is something they need to decide as long as they are under my banner that is.

On the other end of the conversation dakiro laughed for a moment i seemed like he expected something similar to this,but didn't anything further and just continued off were we left off in our conversation regarding the readiness of the ratmen against the lamia.

Dakiro and I talked about the plan a bit further the ratmen had a lot of people in their disposition their breeding speed was fast and for a ratmen to fully mature takes only 6 months the birth is even shorted which is 3 weeks their current number of population though was strictly controlled by the village chief so they wouldn't get out of control and empty their food supplies in a single day,their population currently was 214 people half of which were matured while the other half were still developing or just kids.Their recent attack which was on the kobold village had given them some huge loss in number 45% of their men died in that battle which I was still not very sorry about since they attacked first dakiro also didn't have any hard feelings about it and honestly we just avoided that topic altogether let the past be the past so they say.

-How many people do the lamia usually bring with them ?

I asked I needed exact number of the opponents to know what to do really any basic strategy is based on the win condition in war it is mostly based on who will surrender first meaning that who can corner the opponent first some strategies don't even take a battle to be won many historical events that happened in my original world were all recorded in history most of which were about war.

For human kind to not repeat its past mistakes people wrote history books to let us remember what we did and how we did it for it to not repeat itself over again,bloodshed is not necessarily the answer to everything you can take me for example:I won the kobolds over by beating their leader who also acknowledged me there was no set win condition in this fight he could have just as easily broken his word and tried to kill us rokuten most likely thought of that when he fought me.

The ratman who had charged at us at the other hand didn't give me an sort of choice nor did the lizardmen their intimidating and war like presence doesn't give you an opportunity to just sit down and talk if you don't want to get killed first.

-The lamia usually come with 20 or 30 people at once their leader is also a person who can speak our tongue somehow,how she does it we don't know,but she is usually the one who stands at the front and speaks to us...

Hearing his words I momentarily remembered the time when that lamia spoke to the ratman while choking him they indeed did converse somehow...interesting.

After dakiro informed me of this I asked further about his supply of weapons and armor and as it turns out it seems like they are pretty low on that part which I could already guess from the last exchange I had with them,fortunately I was able to solve that problem since I had loads of weapons and armor stored inside my inventory storage having the ratman take them was very convenient which also made dakiro glad since he seemed to be pretty worried about the issue in particular.

-Alright I tell you when we are going to arrive make sure that the lamia don't figure out what is going to happen and have your people tight lipped we aren't guaranteed to succeed and gaining loss maybe inevitable you understand ?

-yes,I do my lord ! I will await your arrival !

Dakiro said closing the connection between us as I sat on my chair thinking darkly...

-Loss is inevitable...

I mumbled.If so I have to find a way to reverse that situation.

I stood up with my demeanor changing I slowly stepped out of the house and into the outside breathing in some fresh air looking at the neat green lawn in front of me I could see the girls standing straight,standing within a line with their weapons sheeted and their armor on.

-We are ready to leave !

Hobura,hobusaku and hoboku announced standing forward and saluting me they were pretty formal when it came to this,I taught them of course.

Just as I was about deploy them all from the corner of my eyes I could see multiple individuals coming to us leading the little pack was rokuten and behind him I could see other kobolds some wearing robes and staffs while others wore armor and swords looking at rokuten I could see what he had come for.

-Lord sorron I am sorry to interrupt,but I see that you are going to go into a fight because of that me and my men would like to offer you my assistance !

He said quickly bowing down in front of me,normally he isn't this formal,but because of the current atmosphere he did it anyways.

Behind him I could see his men were also following their chiefs actions bowing down respectfully and while they did that I inspected them,it seemed like rokuten brought most of his capable warriors to us unfortunately I didn't need more troops then I had now.

Smiling I looked at rokuten and his warriors and spoke to them.

-I am thankful for your support rokuten,but you are needed here the most your warriors are also really appreciated and I am not saying that they are not useful to me rather the amount of people that I have are already too many this is also a matter of the ratman you should keep your stand and protect your people while I am gone thats what you are supposed to do after all

Hearing my words made rokuten momentarily bitter he understood my meaning and wasn't offended in any sort of way nor were his men who looked at me and nodded acknowledging,I didn't doubt these peoples strength,but this matter was also something that rokuten and his people shouldn't be concerned about since the ratmen were not even their friends,currently they were even in some hostile relationship from what I could tell.

-I understand my lords words and I will await your return you can always call on us for help !

Rokuten spoke making everyone stand up and leave the premise.

Looking at their disappearing backs I couldn't but grin for a moment,in the future I was sure that these guys would be a lot of help to me,but now I needed to deal with my own wars and they needed to develop.

-Girls we are leaving now make sure that you have gotten everything you need if so lets go !

I shouted immediately making everyone move in sync as we made our way out of the village and towards the ratmen village.
