That night i couldn't continue sleeping so i decided to get up earlier and start preparing for the day.

With that done i continued to leave the cave and on my way i had passed by the female hobgoblins who were fast asleep in their own sleeping areas that i had set them into everyone was sleeping in a makeshift bed that i had created before they turned into a hobgoblin the bed was really large for them making at least 2 goblin's fit in 1 bed but now the size was just right for everyone making me feel glad that i had made it that large originally...
I looked over everyone while i was passing by to see if everything was alright my steps were quiet and slow and when i finally reached hobura's place i saw that she was already asleep with a huge grin on her face...which made me smile wryly.
I felt a complex feeling while looking at her i already knew that i liked hoboku a lot maybe i actually even loved her and in some part of my brain i considered her to be my girlfriend making me feel somewhat guilty to have had cheated her because of my hormones...but looking at hobura i knew that it wasn't her fault either she also just wanted to be spoiled like every girl,she knew me fairly well and i never hid anything from them and just showed my usual personality i taught them what i knew and helped them to get this far hiding my emotions was also hard sometimes making the girls look at me with worry,they all dotted on me a lot and so did it,but the question is can this kind of relationship continue on ?
It was hard i quickly needed to find a solution until something major would happen if i would just go with the flow every time some girl gets into my bed then someday thats going to bite me...in a very uncomfortable place even...

Hobura moaned for a second making me surprised for a moment as i thought she had woken up,but she wasn't no,it seemed like she was dreaming...something pleasant i assumed from her expression which was a small smile.
Funnily i also made a small grin and started walking towards hobura her blanket was all over the place and i could see that she shivered for a bit so i took the time to adjust her blanket to keep her warm...in the end i would never abandon anyone here because i knew they wouldn't either.
Finishing this i walked outside into the cool night that i couldn't feel.I would wake up the others the moment the sun would rise but for now it wasn't the case so i first decided to look into my inventory and see how many supplies we had for breakfast which was actually quiet a lot the harvester slimes still gathered fruits and vegetables which i had already stored yesterday inside of the inventory they also gathered building materials such as large branches,large leaves and fiber surprisingly they also acquired a few horned rabbits and small animals using the traps that i had taught them,but because we already had the female hobgoblins to go hunting it wasn't necessary for the slimes to catch anymore game so i told them to continue focusing on gathering building materials,fruits and vegetables.
When it came to raw ingredients there was a lot mostly meat actually,but i really wanted was spices.I had some herbs which i could dry and then ground into pulver,but those herbs were still not what i was searching for the main thing i wanted was actually salt...it was a very basic ingredient but also crucial one which served as flavoring all kinds of food...i could make salt,but for that i would need to find a lake or ocean that had salt water i didn't know any other way to get salt other than this and in my knowledge getting salt was unlikely seeing that were in a giant forest with no ocean in sight whatsoever...
Sugar was also something important as i had no idea how to make it without sugar canes which i can't find i had a slight thought of starting to brew different kinds of teas but without sugar it would seem meaningless to me because i don't like bitter tea of course i could add fruit juice or use it as a substitute for sugar but that was also shot down as it didn't make me feel the same as normal tea did...
Times were hard with no technology...
I sighed and just sat back onto my crate...food wasn't really a problem and i could still make boiled,grilled and stew dishes which was fairly a lot but i still missed the fried dishes like potato fries,fried chicken or chips...

While i was doing that i also continued to experiment with the two spells trying to make gloves,swords and other items with it which actually worked fairly well...When i tried to make something like an armored glove with the ice i imagined the basic structure of the glove and how the mechanics of it would work,after fully grasping the imagine that i wanted i started to part by part shape the water on my hand using it as a model and then freezing it one by one...it took 30 or 40 minutes to finish but the end result was satisfying as the glove that i made was fully functional a bit crude and ugly but heavy and hard to protect me.
When i saw the finished glove i wondered if this counted as a defensive spell or something close to it i didn't acquire a spell from my creation which made me frown,but give me some more insight for this ability as i understood a lot things while tinkering with it.
The first thing i understood while using it was that i could make it as cold as i wanted it to be so i tried to make it the coldest i could get and discovered that my limit was to turn the water almost black from the freezing i knew that the color wasn't literally black just that the ice got so thick and hardened that the internal structure of the water itself shaped into something that light couldn't reflect at all making it look like dark ice.

Of course i wouldn't be able to know how cold the ice really was just by touching it because my and were hindering the ice from harming me but subconsciously i knew very well that the ice was dangerously cold testing it on someone also was quickly dismissed as i feared just by the touch someone would be hurt this was already stepping into a area were frost bites seemed to be nothing compared to this.
The hardness of the ice seemed to be determined by the cold too but i couldn't really test that because my strength was really low and asking someone also seemed a bit too dangerous in which i didn't want to hurt anyone.
After the ice glove i started experimenting in more creative ways and thought of trying to make some dried ice i found it a bit problematic because i knew that dried ice main component was carbon dioxide so i wasn't sure if i was able to do but surprisingly enough when i tried to make dried ice i started imagining the components needed to it drawing the water and then freezing it to a passing degree...the result was spot on as i was able to create a slab of dried which smoked some small amount of mist while holding it in my hand...I had no clue how the carbon dioxide inside of the dried was able to get inside so i had no choice but to assume that if i am able to imagine water components then creating different type of ice wasn't as hard as i thought it would be.
With that thought in mind i suddenly had an idea pop in my head if the same principle goes then does it also count for structure ?
Until now when i wanted to freeze something i always thought of something solid and cold but what if i wanted something fluid and cold or misty and cold,would that work ?
I tried my theory on the spot and the result was remarkable as i was able to make the coldest water without freezing it solid the cold was the same as the glove but the color and structure of the water never changed because i willed it to stay the same,i had only made a fist sized amount of such water and dropped it on the ground to see what would happen and when i did the result was amazing as the little ball of cold water hit the ground it immediately froze the ground splashing off turning the grass into snow-white strands a bit hard but easy to destroy because of the size these strands of grass had.
With that i started brushing the area that had been frozen by the water and realized that the whole grass had been removed by doing so not leaving a single strand of grass and only showing me an empty area of earth...

These results were frightening deadly so to speak i also tried the same method with the mist which worked fine and had an even more frightening use as i could control the mist with an evenly cold temperature around me i also had discovered that each little flake of mist was in my possession meaning that i could control each little molecular piece individually and also collect it with that newly acquired information i started imagining the mist turning into a whirling drill surrounding my right index finger which actually worked and had amazing capabilities as i was able to drill into the ground stone or anything with ease there was not a single resistance.
I also accidentally poke my drill finger to my left hand and was frightened by the prospect of having a hole in my hand until i realized that the drill wasn't working on me...
It was strange i didn't understand why it didn't work was it because it was my own magic ? No that can't be it because temperature seems to affect the caster as much as the opponent then does that mean it's because of my cold or frost resistance or....it was a mystery for now because i had no way to prove it without having another ice or water mage hit me with a spell which i rather passed on.

I flinched for a moment as i felt 2 pairs of soft balls spreading on my back,the water that i was control even dropped onto the ground as i lost my concentration feeling the heavy warmth spreading on my back and hearing the soft womanly sound next to my ear...the smell was familiar and even the voice as it took me only a few seconds to realize who it was.

It made me wonder but that was short-lived as hoboku's hands were slowly reaching my thighs...for a moment i just wanted to let it go but i suddenly remembered what happened between me and hobura and felt bad for a moment as i suddenly grabbed onto her hand stopping her approach.

Hoboku was a bit surprised but she didn't move any longer knowing well that i had stopped her because i wanted to she probably even read my worry as sat next to me hugging my arm...not trying to be seductive or affectionate just over all caring which made feel a lot better for some reason..

I felt embarrassment wash over me as i felt my face flushing up but at the same time i felt my heart starting to calm and hurt less as i got the words out.I wasn't sure what kind of face hoboku was making but i still could feel her emotions through our bond and felt that she was firstly a bit put off not really disappointed or confused she surely understood what i meant and with that going by i could suddenly feel a stream of anger flashing in her heart...her grip to my hand was stronger not really hurting but tight...i was prepared to get hit and only hoped it wouldn't kill me as i tried to explain to her to calm her,but before i was able to ask her she intercepted instead asking in an angry tone...

I was wide-eyed for a moment not really getting what she was trying to ask me...was i really such a weakling ?!
