It was dusk,you could see the sun slowly going down about to rise the night curtain,there was a pleasant breeze in the air going through the forest and traveling her giving me comfortable cool feeling my probably ignored most of the feeling but it still was pleasant to feel.

I looked towards the others with a surveying glance the area here was a bit lively as the female hogoblins swarmed in small groups talking to each other or plainly being by themselves and training i had already given everyone a regular training schedule that would make them build up practice some more and maybe boost their individual skills,the training schedules were different for each team focusing on , i also noticed that hobura had the as a skill and currently she was practicing by swinging her greatsword against a imaginary opponent her skill set was focused on close combat mainly but she also had a skill called which used mana and was ranged too allowing her to make one great swing with her sword and cut everything in her path,but the only downside to that was that she could only use that skill 3 times consecutively costing her 200 mana each slash and it was also a channeling skill which took 3 seconds to charge and then use,when i saw the skill it kinda reminded me of the first hobgoblin i had met who used a similar skill against blondy but thats not important anymore.

Over all everyone was doing quiet well,hoboku was now teaching the other 3 female hobgoblins about magic theory daily and i also provided them with books about magic which i had acquired from the first goblin raid and the purple robed orc mage who had them inside of his pouch.

The rest were just following my training regime and improving their skills that way in the future i will check their stats one by one to see if they need something else but for now this was good enough.

And regarding security the amount of slimes we had were now approximately 225 with a few poison,paralyzes and fire slimes,i used the normal slimes as security cameras for our surroundings while using 50 other slimes to start scouting again dividing them into 5 different teams with 10 members each my goal was to find calars village and also expand my vision of the forest somewhat to get a clear idea where i was…

The kobold village that the slimes had discovered previously was still without any sudden movement peaceful should i say and only sending a party of 8 kobolds to hunt each day without noticing the few slimes that were watching them to keep tabs at them if anything happened…the reason i wanted to keep a watch at them was to keep at ease for myself as to know what they are planning if they actually do something.

I also made a night watch routine and kept some of the hobgoblins awake throughout the night to keep watch,right now the routine was 6 people per day and then the other 6 the next day,this announcement came with everyone complain and grumbling for a bit but they accepted it with good faith in me,i also wasn’t really that worried about night watch because of the amount of surveillance slimes that were around the area reporting to me if they would see any abnormality or a beast lurking in the area heading our way it showed effective as they could literally wake me up in the middle of the night to say something which was great and annoying sometimes too.

The real reason i wanted this was to keep some people ready and start teaching discipline,i don’t mean to say that the girls are rowdy or ignorant to my orders i just want to have them keep their focus on something a bit more sharper then now because having a sharp mind is something crucial to keep us alive.

This was pretty much it our schedule would be waking up at 6:00 PM start training a bit for 6 hours until 12:00 where i would finish preparing some lunch and after that i would send 2 different groups towards the forest to hunt some game for more food and other necessities,leaving a few hobgoblins inside the base to defend and after they return i would finish preparing breakfast and let them have some light training for about 2 hours it will depend on how long they will stay in the forest to hunt but i figured it wouldn’t take long and the whole point of hunting was to raise their levels while getting some more supplies for food and other materials,after they get some more training i would also finish making dinner and let them have free time for the rest of the day and the whole thing again the next day until something urgent would come up to change plans of course…

Now you may ask what will i do all day then ? My work in this schedule is pretty much be your average housewife for these girls and there is a reason i won’t participate in the hunts or training for the time being.

That being said i previously discovered that my strength wouldn’t raise as much as i hoped it would after a level up only my other stats would take a big leap in raise such as my highest stats which were Intelligence,stamina and agility.Currently i was the fastest person in this group and also the most intelligent and enduring holding the most stamina but i was also the weakest in this group as in my strength was only a measly 10.04 and that was with the silver ring that granted me 10 strength by wearing it…i sometimes even fear to let go of the ring feeling helpless if i lose it…scary thought.

What i want to say is that one strike can kill me instantly making it a giant gamble for me to go out into the forest without proper protection so i rather decided to invest my strength into the girls who are in the literally sense my “Bodyguards” and let them build up in power so i don’t have to worry about anything and let them worry about it stead of me which i found a bit more comforting but at the same time insulting to me as i needed to rely on others to survive.

While it is true that i would basically do only house work and stay at the base mostly,made me also decide to do different projects in between while everyone was fighting and training i would create clothing,foods and other things such as going into my research which i had stopped abruptly from all the events that had happened so far.

I had a lot of ideas such as baths which were the main point of my research really…i couldn’t live without baths…i did well until now wiping my body with hot water but that wasn’t all too pleasant even thought my newly acquired could allow me to enjoy cold baths it was still a unpleasant thing to do in my opinion,but i still didn’t neglect my own combat power i also planned to train my and the newly acquired which let me chose 3 different spells which were offensive,support/control and defensive.

Because i had previously chosen as my first spell i also chose as my first spell in the “Dark Ice” category when i first saw the selection i didn’t even take as an selection and debated whetever or not to chose which was a decent offensive spell to have but chose against it because combined well with .

I had appraised the spells one by one and the effect of was to control the temperature of water specifically.

Now at first i was confused why the was different from the normal until i discovered through that “Dark Ice” specifically is the type of magic that has the coldest temperature and is a lot harder then normal ice,but in turn this element has the weakness of hurting the caster at same time too giving them frost bites or other cold related injuries.

And at that point the box didn’t really explain me anything making me only imagine what it meant giving me a few things to work with as i speculated that users often die because of self inflicted damage thinking about it more logically for a user to cast his spells without hurting himself he would need to have the and skill which the sigil actually gave me up front explaining even more things making me think that my theory was actually correct.

Anyways when i first used the i noticed that i could control the water particles in the air and move them however i wanted them to move i discovered that i could create mist through the spell and spread it out over my radius,but i was a bit sad as the mist left my control radius slowly started to dissolve in the air clearing up.I also combined my with and was astound that i was able to now create ice statues freezing the water while shaping it.

I also tried to make offensive abilities through combining both of the spells and managed to make very pointy spikes which i could use to impale someone i also made large frozen clumps of water balls and made them fly using my thought i was surprised that i could still control the frozen water and figured that i could control anything that has water to it regardless if it was solid,fluid or gas which made me a lot more interested with my new found magic.

I snapped out of my thoughts for a second as i sat on the crate looking on the field absentminded…the day was long and a bit tiresome sorting out all kinds of issues and rules i still needed to make proper hides and work on the skin from the different animals…i was fortunate enough to know how to actually make proper skin remembering the different shows and books which instructed such things…good times.

I looked hobuha who was standing by my side wearing her purple robe which looked fairly cute on her the size was perfect and also boosted her charm in my opinion.

-Is that so alright…it seems like thats it tell everyone to sleep now we will wake up fairly early tomorrow like usual.

Hobuha nodded energetically as she turned towards the others and started walking off with a smile on her face,while she was doing that i took the time to look at the sun again which was no longer present in the sky…ahh how i wish there was some kind of clock…until now i always used the sun clock to see the proper time but when the light is out the clock also becomes useless…maybe i should make a water clock instead ?…worth looking into i guess.

With that thought i shrugged and stood up from my crate yawning for a bit as i made my way towards the cave i wanted to sleep a bit more early even thought i wasn’t exhausted i felt a bit sleepy nonetheless.

The others were already going to the cave about to sleep too but this time only 6 were going while the other 6 were taking guard throughout the night there was also a good side to this as in they had the ability to see through the darkness which was convenient not needing the flames or light to lighten up the way and also keeping a fairly unnoticed presence in this area without the light which was good.

I was the first to go inside the cave while the other 6 followed me with a unnatural tense gaze which suddenly reminded me that i was going to sleep with 6 beautiful girls under the same roof..or cave so speak making me a bit tense too as i never thought of it as such when they were just small goblins who looked like small children and normally we would sleep apart as in i would sleep at the end of the cave while the girls slept in the middle of it,the people who were going to rest were hobuha,hobura,hasumi,hakuro and husuru.

Before their evolution they never made such over conscious behaviors and were pretty light hearted or ignorant towards this subject but now it was different showing that their evolution truly changed a lot of things going from character to plain intelligence.

I also tapped at their feelings for a moment to see if they were uncomfortable just to discover that they were actually a bit excited and expecting for some reason which didn’t clearly show on their faces which looked just tense…i didn’t try to tap onto hobura in particular fearing the lustful wave which i had experienced previously.

I tried to be ignorant about the situation and just quickened my pace out walking the girls for a moment which seemed rude but did seemed to have gone unnoticed as i finally reached the end of the cave where my small living area stood which was a big pelt used as a mattress and another pelt which i used as a blanked…there were small crates which i used as seats and the big flat boulder which i used as a table the area was non-significant and boring to be honest but it was a private space where i could relax my space,with the small items which i used for projects.

The light inside the cave was pitch black but it didn’t bother me as i could see in the dark with my skill i was still a bit confused on how i was able to acquired such skill and previously i had just dismissed that topic but now i had more time to think didn’t i ?

As i was thinking like that i figured that it could wait tomorrow and started walking towards the bed made out of pelt…i had also give the other female hobgoblins the same setup as mine with the sleeping quarters it was too bad that we didn’t have any rooms but i thought that it was still alright this way until maybe i build a proper house or something but that would take time and i wasn’t really the best architect no matter how smart i was.

With that thought i slowly closed my eyes thinking about the days to come and the things to do,as i fell asleep i could swear that i had seen something on the corner of my eyes but because i was half-asleep i didn’t bother to actually check and just dismissed it as paranoia which it wasn’t of course…

==========A few hours later==========

-hmmm…

Ugh…what the ?

Something…something was strange…my body felt weirdly uncomfortable and for some reason i couldn’t move my upper or lower body there was a strange feeling of pressure and i could feel something on top of me…

I slowly opened my eyes still sleepy my eyes were a bit unclear as i started shaking my head for a bit trying to shake off the sleepiness…i used my hands to rub my eyes and as i did so i could hear a slight gasp in front of me…

-…

I Froze…and with that i also slowly started feeling someones hands on my chest and the pressure on top of me was also started to become clearer i looked up for a moment as i suddenly met with blood red eyes looking at me directly…fear started to creep up as i reflexively wanted to gasp but couldn’t as i felt a strong hand blocking my mouth holding the sound inside with a muffled tone…

-ah..hum.

As that happened i quickly tried to identify the person who was on top of me looking at her face i already knew that she was a hobgoblin and as i looked at her hair i noticed it was crimson red and then i realized who it was…hobura ?!

I had already calmed down and stopped resisting looking at her baffled…what did she want ? i wondered…with that sudden halt of resistance hobura also took off her hand from my mouth as both of us stared at each other silently in the middle of the night…i wasn’t sure what to do and because i was an idiot i…

-So..what you doing ?
