Firstly, thank you, thank you, thank you for reading this work in progress. You being here has helped me with accountability and your comments have been valuable. I feel like I’ve grown a lot as an author over the course of writing this book.

After working with your feedback and several rounds of beta readers, this story has now been through significant edits (lots of cuts, rewrites, changes to key moments and characters, and some new chapters too). Where it’s at now is a bit like an alternate universe version of what’s on Royal Road and I’m excited to see it published. While the dates aren't set in stone, as I'm waiting for a few things like cover art, I’m tentatively targeting a Jan 1 release with ARCs going out Nov/Dec.

It will be available on KU, which requires all but 10% of the story to be removed from anywhere else that it's posted. Due to the extent of the edits, it would likely be confusing for a reader to start on Royal Road and then attempt to continue on KU, so this fiction will be leaving Royal Road around the end of November. I’ll update this with an exact date when I have it but wanted to give anyone mid-read ample warning.
