Upon arriving at the shipyard and mining site, Jake and Harry discovered that Jayne and Erica had unexpectedly departed a day earlier, leaving them wondering about the reason behind it. Jake was a little upset that Jayne left without even saying anything to him, but he couldn’t really blame her. When he gets talking about new ideas with Harry, everything around him doesn’t exist. Jake looked over at Harry and asked, “what should we do now?”
“Let’s go back and work on the design a bit more before they get back. After all, we need to think of it not so much as a gunship but a corvette after all.” Jake looked over at the man with a smile and asked, “what about weapons have you got any ideas on that front?”
Some time later Jake and Harry came up with a design for a centre line cannon but some of the problems that would come with the installation it would need to be as big as the ship so its barrel would run through the ships living quarters and exit just under the bridge in Jake’s mind he saw the new ship he was going to build to be more like a UNSC ship than the enterprise Harry said it was the only way they could fit the gigantic cannon in so Jake went along with it but he did stipulated that hardened steel plates and two huge rocket pod be placed on the outer hull in-between the plates and the hull providing a much greater forward attacking power than other corvette’s the rear of the ship would have three massive engines in a horizontal line and two outlets for the FTL system the only other issues were defensive turrets and the flight decks for the small complement of fighters. The size of the ship was pushing the limits of what could be called a corvette, but Harry was certain it would still work. It took five hours before the next shipment of materials arrived, so Jake quickly started working on the six light fighters that would be the full complement for the ship. Each light fighter had a few upgrades Harry had come up with, like a more robust engine section and an upgrade to the shielding. After making the hull of the ships, jake started on the upgraded flight systems and weapons. Ten days later, Jake and Harry finally finished the ships. So the two took a well-deserved break.
The two were lunging around in the cottage when two people entered. One was beaten black and blue while the other had cuts on her body.
“What happened to you two?” Jake asked the two lady’s
Erica throw over a ring and without even saying anything left while Jayne on the other hand walked over to jake and said “everything is in there it took me a lot of effort to get that stuff so let’s just get this done and leave, I’ve had enough of politics i just want to go kill something.” she then changed forms and took her usual place.
“I wonder what happened to them.” Harry said before continuing, “so what’s in the ring? Anything good, or is it just a bunch of useless crap?”
Jake didn’t reply to that and just looked in the ring.

Jake was thinking over the last couple of titles he had received and wounded
“Why are the titles recently assigned less and less comparable to my initial titles?”
Jake brought up the command prompt only to rethink it and closed it again.
“There’s no way I could even trust the system right now.”
Jake then moved on to the next set of issues. The location he was standing in had turned into a futuristic military complex that had reached all the way back to the cottage. Looking over some buildings that were created, Jake found one that stood out as it reached all the way into space. At the bottom of the gigantic tower stood a train, its rails ran from the ground all the way into space. Using identification on it made Jake smile. Orbital elevator.
“What am I in gundam now? What do I need an orbital elevator for exactly?”
“That is fucken amazing. We haven’t been able to build anything bigger than a corvette here because we couldn’t get the materials up into space, but with this I can finally work on a capital ship and other cool stuff.” An ecstatic Harry said.
“Well, it looks like you have a lot to do, then I’m leaving the running of this place for you to do what you want with.”
“Um, I would rather not. I like not being in charge of anything; it gives me more time to invent cool stuff.” Harry said.
Jake laughed then said, “that’s fine. I’ll keep this one and if you want to use it, go ahead. But just so you know, you could have had a territory as big as the solar system.” Jake said before looking for a place he could use to find out what was in his territory. After all, he tried using the system, but that gave him nothing. Walking over to a building at the base of the orbital elevator, Jake entered to a strange site. Floating behind a desk was a man.
“Welcome sir, I am the system imposed manager of your territories. My name is Alric. Oh, it seems you have another territory. I shall begin administering that one as well. Is there anything else you wish from me, sir?”
Jake stared at the man for a second before coming back to his senses. “Yes, could you tell me about my new territory and anything else related, like what you can do?”
“As the manager of your territories, I deal with all the Monsieur and defences. I also can grant citizenship for individuals within your territories my power to control and grant new system building is limited at the moment. Within the demon’s territory there is a defensive array made from a man’s soul its impact on the territory is unknown and I can’t remove it as for other infrastructure on the surface there is this terminal and some minor structures there is also one mine and a construction site there is also five system created dungeons within your territory.”
Jake got excited when he heard the last part, but seconds later, his hopes of going directly to the dungeons were crushed.
“Sadly, I am unable to divulge information about dungeons.”
“Okay, so to make it clear I don’t have to run my territories or put people in charge of them anymore?”
“That is correct. I only ask that you keep expanding your territories.”
“How do I do that?”
“There are a few ways to do this. First is by using more tokens, the second is by gaining more citizens and the third is by conquest.”
“That seems doable. I have some more tokens. Where would be the best places to use them?” Jake showed the man his tokens.
“The planetary token can only be used on a planet that has no other territories on it. As for the others, they would be good on your homeworld as transport sites in the future.”
“What do you mean by transport sites?”
“Once you get enough citizens, I will be able to unlock teleported pads within your territories to connect them to each other. As a safety mechanism, only citizens will be able to use them.”
“That sounds fine. I will leave all of this to you then. Thank you for the help.” Jake said before leaving. as jake left the building, a group of people stood in front of him.
“Estella, it’s been a while. What brings you here?”
“Sir, I came to investigate the loud noises and the gigantic tower.”
“If you want to know about it, go ask Alric. He’s just in there.” Jake pointed behind him, then walked off to find a place to work on his new ship. Jake found it north of his cottage and began his work by pulling out what was left of his shuttle, which, even though such a long time had passed, was still only a seat and console.
“Wow, that’s worse than I thought.” Harry said when he walked out of the forest with a group of people, “where going to need some help with this one. It’s a good thing I have some friends willing to work for free,” he continued.
Jake looked over at the group and smiled. All of them were in long white jackets with name tags on them.
“Scientists I presume.”
“Yes.” The one with the name tag saying Frank said,
“Well, let’s get started then. What should I make first?”
The group of scientists said in unison, “remove the soulbinding and build the hull from the console out.”
