Mimi walked out into the yard in front of Tabitha’s Apartments. Her golden shoe’s lightly tapped upon the gray stones paving said yard. Her golden short-sleeved shirt and matching mid-skirt glimmered in the moonlight. Her long locks of beautiful golden hair gently swayed in the night’s pleasant cool breeze. Like her outfit, hair, and even eyes, her skin also possessed a lovely golden hue. She was a mimic—a beautiful curvaceous mimic.
She stopped, her golden shoes coming to a rest upon the yard’s gray stones. Overhead, both moon and stars shone in the sky. Though the sky was clear for the most part, a few straw clouds drifted about. The stars twinkled beautifully due to those few drifting clouds.
In her right hand, she held a pink can. She raised the can to her lips. Her lips parted, and the can’s red contents flowed through them as she took of sip of the drink. The can was a can of Mimic Up, a beauty drink targeted at female mimics. She found the drink’s taste to not be disagreeable. She lowered the can from her lips and smiled.
A female mimic wearing a red bikini displayed proudly on the can of Mimic Up. This short-haired mimic somehow boasted even more bosom than Mimi. Well, it wasn’t like Mimi was flat. She was actually fairly curvy.
Mimi brought the can bearing the very bosomy mimic back to her lips and took another sip. Mimic Up claimed to promote not only a lustrous body but a curvaceous body as well. Considering those claims, the likeness of that bikini-clad mimic on the can made sense.
Mimi lowered the can of Mimic up once again. Her golden eyes—her beautiful golden eyes—went up to the moon. She licked the residual Mimic Up from her lips. Then a lovely smile snaked its way across her lips. The night’s moon reflected beautifully in her golden eyes. She took another sip of Mimic up, and then her eyes drifted down.
She closed her eyes. The night’s breeze gently caressed her. She shifted her weight from one leg to the other. Slowly, her eyes opened once more as the breeze continued caressing her. Her golden eyes went to the red brick road. Red brick lampposts lined said road, casting out warm-hued light.
Should she, or should she not? She closed her golden eyes once again, a lovely smile showing upon her face. Almost absentmindedly, she took yet another sip of Mimic Up. The flavor really wasn’t disagreeable. Her eyes opened again, and she licked the residual Mimic up from her lips. Her eyes were on the red brick road. Should she, or shouldn’t she? She took another sip of Mimic Up.
Stolen novel; please report.
She shifted her weight onto her right leg. Should she, or shouldn’t she? She shifted her weight onto her left leg now. Sure, she could just chill here as she finished up her Mimic Up. Her golden eyes went back to the night sky. It truly was a beautiful night. Perhaps she should head to the park instead. Should she, or shouldn’t she? It truly was a beautiful night.
She took another sip of Mimic Up before returning her golden eyes to the night sky. Should she, or shouldn’t she? It truly was a beautiful night. It would be a true shame to let such a beautiful night go to waste without a walk in the park, would it not? Her eyes dropped back down to the red brick road. She blinked. She’d head to the park in that case. No need to let such a beautiful night go to waste.
She smiled a lovely smile. Her golden shoes lightly touched down upon the gray stones paving the yard as she made her way toward the red brick road. Her golden mid-skirt swayed with her soft steps. She drew closer to the yard’s edge—drew closer to the red brick road. She stopped prematurely though, not quite reaching the road. The yard’s gray paving stones were still at her feet. A shadow had fallen over her.
Mimi pouted. Why was her moonlight being blocked? She puffed her cheeks out haughtily and glanced up. She froze. The color drained from her face. Her Mimic Up slipped free from her right hand. Her lips parted. Her scream cut though the otherwise beautiful night.
The pink can bearing an image of a beautiful mimic impacted gray stone with a sharp thud. Its red contents bled out, discoloring gray stone. Where was its former holder though? Where was Mimi? Mimi was simply gone. She never got the chance to enjoy this beautiful night with a nighttime walk at Spider-Lily Park.
Overhead, the moon continued to glow in a display of beauty. The stars accompanied the moon, twinkling as a few stray clouds drifted about. There was no Mimi to enjoy them though—no Mimi to head to the park. There was just a fallen can of Mimic Up laying upon the gray paving stones of the yard. Red continued to leak out from the now-dented can.
There was a flutter of wings, and a bird—a crow—landed at the scene of the disappearance. Its talons tapped against gray stone as it hopped about. Its beady black eyes went from side to side as it took in the scene. Finally, its eyes came to the spilled can of Mimic Up. The crow blinked. Its eyes focused in on the curvy mimic on the can, and then it blinked again. It tilted its head to the side and then shifted its gaze to the red liquid coloring stone. Its eyes shifted between can and spilled liquid a few times before it ruffled its feathers. It gave a caw.
More flapping of wings sounded, and a second crow landed beside the first. It glanced at the first crow and gave its own caw. Then it turned its attention to the dented can of Mimic Up. It hopped closer to the can. It leaned closer to get a better look. Its beady black eyes were on the curvy mimic on the can. It then glanced at the first crow and got a caw from it. The two crows then spread their wings and fled the scene, disappearing into the night.
