Day 40

I haven’t thought much about this before, but being inside a giant cavern surrounded by more than half kilometers thick of solid stone layer before hitting normal soil kinda blurs some things. I first assumed that this cavern is deep underground because the result of the radar spell from the early days tends to go upward, but maybe this cavern is inside a mountain all along? I’m not sure. The “All You Need to Know About ‘Farm’ Farming” book doesn’t really tell about it. I mean, it was still an interesting book, and I learned much about the technical aspect of farming from it. But it’s still not the one I was looking for.

In the first place, what I need to know is the exact location of the cavern, not if the cavern is inside some mountains or buried deep underground, to teleport out of this place.

Anyway, I built a small three by three by three meters bathroom on the right side of the tunnel. I positioned the room a little bit away from the tunnel—making an airlock hallway in between—to prevent any debris from needlessly entering the bathroom when I slid down the tunnel with them.

Inside the bathroom, there is a big hole for soaking. It has its own water rune to produce water, and a simple drainage connected to a huge stone pot inside the cavern for me to use the used bathwater for watering my nuts.

If there is anything that I wanted to add in the bathroom, it will be a system to heat the water. Because as enjoyable a cold bath as it may be, I can’t use it early in the morning nor in the middle of the night. The water is very cold around those times.

And although I could add one, I don’t have any woods or branches to burn because I need to use those for cooking. Great! Just another thing to gripe about.
