The sows have given birth. They gave birth to a dozen piglets each, so there are four dozen piglets here now. I split the pig trench into four rooms just in case the litters fight with each other.
For now and probably two or three weeks ahead, the piglets will sustain themselves by consuming their mother’s milk. After that, they will surely devastate my food supply.
The mini pigs in the pig trench are species that have half the size of common pigs species. Naturally, their piglets are also half the size of common piglets. Holding one of their piglets, it feels like I can just squeeze it with one hand like a tomato or a sausage.
Oh, no, I didn’t, of course. They are just that cute and tiny.

Should I cook most of them once they are done suckling on their mother’s milk? I wonder if a soup will—No. Let’s cross that bridge later.
It has been a while since I saw the sky and the sun. I know that the humongous mana heart at the top of this cavern provides light to the whole space. But I feel its luminous glow is kind of off putting sometimes—I don’t know. It just makes me miss the real thing more.
That aside, I realized the sledding idea. I shaped the sledge using a stone slab and engraved a slippery rune at the bottom side of it. It was fun. Although I still need to carry the sledge up to the mining area, I don’t need to walk back anymore.
The sledge can go as fast as a sprinting horse downhill, and can go even faster if I cast a simple wind spell. I wonder how I can go faster? Should I smooth out the ground too? That’d create less friction, right? Let’s do that tomorrow.
