There’s nothing special happening today.
After feeding the slime trench, and checking on the nut fields in the morning, I went to the library to read the “Farm.” grimoire that I found yesterday, and got enlightened in a lot of things.
Despite only consisting of two rooms, the grimoire confirmed that this place is actually an ancient dungeon called, drum rolls please, “The Farm.”
Lame naming sense aside, it’s said that, due to the combination of ancient druidic magic and the giant ass mana heart dangling in the ceiling, any seed that you plant in the main cavern will grow at a much, much quicker rate than normal, and also more bountiful. And I was right. I can always blame things on the giant ass mana heart in the middle of the room.
The grimoire also stated a way to access farming skill lists, and apparently due to the nature of the dungeon, it boosted experience regarding farming skill too, which is pretty useful, I suppose. A bigger number usually means better.

This is currently the stats in my farming skill trees:
[ Bountiful Harvest Lv. 2 (6%) ] [ Seed Sowing Lv. 5 (54%) ] [ Watering Lv. 5 (2%) ] [ Alchemy Lv. 4 (8%) ]
It’s pretty great, I guess. I’m not sure how to feel because they are farming skills. For the record, I’m a magician. There’s no way I will continue farming once I leave this place. I don’t even have a land outside of this place. I guess I can buy some? I don’t know. Let’s think about that later. For now, I’m learning these druidic spells that let me summon seeds from the grimoire using the combination of water and earth.
Smoked pork slices and nut paste are great and all. But sometimes I wanted to eat other things too.
It’s such a shame that the grimoire doesn’t explain why or how I ended up in this place or the exact location of this place… back to digging the tunnel tomorrow, I guess.
