The taste of smoked pork meat with nut paste is heavenly—at least, in comparison to dried slime and nut paste combination. I think I’ll stop consuming dried slime for a while because of this.

The grass that has been growing all over this cavern has grown tall enough to turn the barren soil landscape into a sea of grass. There are crickets chirping from between the leaves. Some snails hanging out near the well. The tiny fishes in the well are getting bigger by the day. I wonder if the fishes will be big enough to be grilled over an open fire? It has been a while since I have had a fish, after all.

Yes. I finally hit level three of alchemy skill. Which means, I can theoretically create a low-quality pot suitable for boiling. Theoretically because I haven’t tried it yet. I spent this morning tending the field, and lying around savoring the taste of pork meat in my belly. Wait a bit.

I did it. I created a low-quality stone pot. This means that I can try making slime noodles at night as long as I still have my mana. Let me try making some.

It’s good. The dried slime absorbed the hot water well, and doesn’t have its signature leather texture. I added some nut paste and slices of smoked pork into it, and a simple slime pork-nut noodle is complete.

With this level of alchemy, I wonder if I could make a simple contraption strong enough to help me transport the tunneling debris. Hmmm…
