As expected, another slime appeared. I’m glad that I took the time to put a magic barrier before sleeping last night because the slime was loitering near the food pile, looking hungry. I killed it before it could do anything else, and propped its remains near its predecessor. I checked the first slime remains, and it seems to need another day for it to dry properly.

Moving on with the day, I once again did a thorough scan of the cavern. This time, instead of using the radar spell, I manually explored the nooks and crannies of this huge place. Perhaps I might have missed something obvious, I thought. After all, the radar spell cannot tell color or smell. But similar to yesterday’s result, I couldn’t find anything. This cavern is barren of man-made mechanisms, magical or physical means, which makes me more curious on how or why exactly I ended up here.

In the afternoon, tired from all the walking around, I ended up taking a nap. I dreamt of flying freely out in the open sky before waking up in the middle of the night to have dinner, fulfill my toilet needs, and write in this journal.

Oh, right, in case anyone is wondering, I’ve been fulfilling my toilet needs using a makeshift toilet a distance away from where I sleep. I called it a makeshift toilet, but actually I just dug a deep hole into the ground using the dig spell. I dug at least two meters deep near an air hole in the wall. To further prevent the resulting smell from covering the whole cavern, I sacrificed one of my old shirts on top as a cover. It was already ragged from all the dungeon delving I had, so I won’t miss it that much.

Excluding set of equipments that I’m wearing, here’s a rough image of my current inventory: a sleeping bag, a pouch of dried medicinal herbs, some bandages, two bottles of lesser health potions, a bottle of lower mana potion, two sets of clothes to change (incl. undergarments), this journal, a coat, a raincoat, a case, a magical stationery kit for basic rune, a dagger knife, a bar of soap, twenty meters rope, two water pouches, two sheets of towels, a metal cup, silver cutlery set, pouch full of silver powder, ……
