Micky was in a tailors shop getting fitted for an outfit on short notice. According to Yolanda, she was very good and quick enough for what they needed. He also brought along the girls and Prin who were getting fitted as well. This was going to be a quick social call, a kind of run and done thing. And while he was at it, to the chagrin of Micky himself being felt up by the handsy tailor he and the girls were also going to have another outfit made for more social engagements like this.
Micky was happy that he wasn’t the only one suffering as Prin also needed to have her outfit adjusted, however she and the girls had already had several outfits at the request of Mrs. Dodderson. Micky on the other hand, was able to dodge that bullet at the time. He didn’t think he would actually need it. Low and behold that it had come back to bite him. But since he needed to ‘dress down’ and ‘not stand out or show up any of the other guests’ he wasn’t too bad off with the rented hand me down.
However, the stares he was getting was making things awkward. Micky was currently down to his underclothes and was being ogled like a piece of meat at the market. Now he knew what that side of veal felt like as it was actioned off to the highest bidder. He was hoping that his owner would be nice and ‘dress’ him up like the veal was dressed in salt. But lucky, or unlucky, non of the voyeurs seemed to be interested.
Micky quickly got his clothes and was ready to not be noticed at this social gathering.

It was an execution, the baron had invited him for an execution. Or not really him, but Yolanda. And she was not alone, not only were her friends here but also ever older individual was also invited it seemed. As it was the guards were on high alert for just this type of situation. Micky looked around to find that he and his group were the youngest of those gathered. Many brought proteges but some of those were even older than the alchemist Merry. Micky himself was one of the youngest, if not the youngest, and his charges were even younger than that. So much for not standing out.
Micky looked around but couldn’t find what he was looking for. He tried to refresh, but it didn’t work. So he shrugged and got on with his life…
The Baron brought in who the man that was going to be executed himself as well as a young girl who looked to be fourteen to sixteen. While she looked like a fourteen year old she had a figure that could put down a long term MILF queen in shame. This made it rather awkward for Micky as he didn’t know what was going on. However, as the two were brought up for execution with the two’s favorite tool, the axe, Micky didn’t have a chance to adjust. The Baron and his son watched the crowd as they brought the weapons up to behead the isekai.
As they brought the weapons up a man started walking from the crowd. He was an older gentleman that Micky saw earlier. Except that this time he had a glassy eyed stair. But the man was quickly stopped by the elder initiative of the group. He started to fight but the man’s protege screamed to “go on without him master, don’t mind me!” and the man stopped his struggling and releasing potent spells. Micky was hiding behind Yolanda for protection who was keeping the spellwork back from him and several other ‘young’, and I use that term loosely, charges. He was quickly taken away with a defeated look, but the baron still seemed to be warry.

Then a ring started to glow on his hand and a spirit popped out of it. This spirit only had a moment to charge it’s vitriol filled ego rant before it was cut down by a silver sword. As in a literal sword made out of silver. This was a good metal for making spirit damaging weapons out of as it was called the ‘spirit metal’ and was good for this kind of thing. It also held a blessing really well, even better than gold! But don’t tell a priest that, they will excommunicate you…
The hand that the ring was on was quickly sliced off and the baron put his boot on it. The axe was coming down now when an explosion of flame came from the isekai’s pocket. This was dowsed with water magic from nearby mages. Out of his pocket popped a baby spirit-beast that appeared to be a phoenix of some kind.
Then a water elemental king appeared. But one of the Baron’s spirit callers trapped it in a fire crystal. It would not hold for very long, but the elemental would be weakened when it came out.
Finally, the wall was smashed in with an explosion but it was too late. The head was rolling on the floor of both the isekai and his impossibly proportioned ‘younger sister’. The revolutionaries that came through slowed to a stop, put their hands up in surrender, and were promptly turned into pin cushions.
But that was not the end. The spirit slaying sword came down on the spirit of the isekai again as he was just about to speak a long winded revenge monologue. Now his spirit was dispersed. This didn’t prevent him from reincarnating, but it would prevent his memories from coming with him.
From the head of the little sister though, came an annoyed looking demon. “Fuck you bastards! Do you know how long I had to play this sick bitchs ‘little sister’? Do you think you can defy me?” Said the male incubus. He called forth demonic flame. The baron quickly blocked this for his son though. The baron’s son quickly retreated behind a row of the baron’s personal guards while the baron’s knights moved in to assist in putting down the demon. The demon was trying to gather up the dispersed isekai’s spirit shards in order to revive him later in a different form.
“Demons really? I knew this all along! Don’t think...” The baron started.
“Sir, your monologuing, be careful!” Reminded one of the uninvolved guards that were just passively observing till this point. The baron quickly stopped talking and continued to fend off the demon.
“Neither you nor that isekai thought about the people you killed did you? You have killed hundreds, maybe thousands for literally nothing and no reason. You are terrorists that have come here to kill and I will not have it!” Proclaimed the baron.
Micky looked at this entire fight that was well above his movie budget. He still didn’t know what was even going on.
“That’s the isekai that was causing all of the problems until now. As you can see isekai are nothing but trouble. He caused the whole ant monster thing because ‘they deserve to live too and they are facing extinction in their natural habitat because others do not respect their right to life!’ or something. He is also responsible for the riots as well.” Said Yolanda.
“I have no idea what’s going on? Why did, is, what?” Stammered out Micky.
Yolanda said “Isekai have heaven warping luck. Something about surviving the odds of the impossible or something. This luck attracts various beings who prey on the isekai’s luck like parasites. They consume the cast offs of the isekai and become stronger as the isekai does. Similarly, the antagonist or the ‘villain’ does as well, it’s disgusting. But not all things are here because of the luck from the MC, sometimes the luck draws others into itself. That’s what happened to Mr. Harlem over there.
This is usually called being drawn into the hero’s narrative. As you can see, they would do things that are quite controversial to their nature. This is why all of us retirees were brought out to the event. As you saw, while the luck will make a large amount of random and disjointed events, though they happen one at a time, and they are predictable to the point of cliche. So with the proper preparation, you can take care of most things provided you take the archmage option and just fireball the whole thing before the isekai is too powerful. Luckily he was just a simple isekai and not a true hero or things might have been a lot worse.”
