Well. It has arrived! It is time to go on a binge.

Care to gamble? Do I continue reading a book I have already started? Or do I start yet another book and continue to add to the increasingly long list of books I haven't finished.

Maybe a bit of both.

I love weekends so much! This is going to be quite fun!

This week my focus was a bit off.

During the week. I only have like 2-3 hours dedicated a day to reading. The rest of my time is spent on work or other things. I took 30 minutes out of my reading time to work on the foundation for the 'runic system'.

Unfortunately... in terms of starting this habit. I have failed! Yesterday, I got a bit too absorbed in reading and ended up not allocating the 30 minutes to that task.

Enjoying this book? Seek out the original to ensure the author gets credit.

This is partially because I think 30 minutes isn't enough. I feel this could be a much bigger time sink. But I am a bit worried I might be spending time I don't have.

What do I mean?

Let's say I spend 25 minutes on each stage. That is probably the average. You have some stages that are done in a few minutes. But you also have other stages that take far more time.

I already know how much time I have 'spent' and will spend on this technique.

A little over a thousand hours.

That is acceptable to me.

Keep in mind. I have only written for about 1,400+ hours in total across all my books.

If I am to spend 30 minutes a day on the runic system. We have 2,310 stages left.

That'll be 1,115 hours!

That basically doubles the amount of time I spend.

But this is misleading...

Because in truth. I never get to finish this technique.

Something always manages to stop me eventually.

Then the next loop starts.

The sad thing about that is that while I can refine the stages in each life. It still requires a thousand hours of investment each life.

But the 'runic system' is a bit different.

The more information I define and the progress I make will follow me across lives.

I actually wonder what method would be more effective. Perhaps a 'binge' could work as well or better then what I planned on doing.

I'll use my reading time as an example.

I read around about 26 hours a week. It is my main hobby and what I dedicate most of my time to. But out of those 26 hours. 16 of them come from the weekend.

The other 10 come from the combined total of the rest of the time. This means I am VERY happy on weekends because I get to binge read.

But I'm only getting like 2 hours to read on weekdays.

If I only do 30 minutes a day. That means I am only getting 3.5 hours of 'generating/brainstorming' runes a week.

To be honest.

That is almost nothing.

I could probably dedicate 4 hours straight during the weekend and surpass an entire weeks progress in a single day. But I wonder if this would affect my binge.

I also want to experiment with writing out the stages on paper to familiarize and help myself memorize them easier. Keep in mind that I'm talking about the encryption. Not the memory infusion/insights/etc.

That would be on an entirely different level of time consumption.

Decisions... decisions...
