Well I read the first 15 chapters of 'The World after the Fall'. I have to say, it is rather interesting. I like the start a lot and actually think it might become my main read for now.

I'll describe what it is about.

There are some mechanics I'm not clear about. But it basically about a tower appearing in the world of the MC. This tower has 100 floors.

Humanity must 'beat' this tower to save themselves. But this is all lies.

Everything was going well and humanity was making great progress. But I think things are a bit more deep then that. It seems that there are people that exist outside of reality (this is in my own words). There are many demons, gods, and people that 'buy' [product].

What is [product]? It is the people that beat the 'tutorial'. The tower that appeared in the world is a bit mysterious and the demon that controls it doesn't do so with any good intentions.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

Anyways, the demon that bought this tower (owning a tower is a dream for many demons apparently) got it at a good deal. But on a specific floor there was a test that screwed humanity.

'Return Stones'. The tower walkers had made a huge mistake. They thought that since all the items so far had never tricked them in the tower. This stone could allow them to travel back in time.

One person used it. Then another. Then almost everyone did so. Leaving our MC alone to face the tower by himself. He spent 30 years clearing it.

But it turns out that it wasn't a 'return stone'. But a 'nightmare stone'. The person would essentially get trapped in a dream where it appeared they went back.

It turns out the moment the MC accepted the summon to the tower. He had enrolled in a game and became [product]. The demon was cultivating him. But he has no idea and isn't supposed to know.

So the reward for clearing the 99th floor and reaching the 100th floor? He gets to restart and keep his memory. But the tutorial is done and he will go somewhere else.

The MC basically goes 'fuck that' and says he will beat the master of the tower. He refuses the prompts from the master of the tower. He then trains his [suspicion] to be able to basically read thoughts. He finds out the truth and does something insane.

He breaks out of the scenario completely. I don't quite understand what he became. But it seems to be a bit insane. But I lack information as I've only read the first 15 chapters.

But it looks quite interesting!

I mainly spent the day reading. I started today with the book 'Simulating Endless Possibilities: Invincible once I act'. I read the first 66 chapters.

The MC in that book is able to transform valuable items or really anything into energy for a simulator. He can simulate his life and get a talent by spending these points. At the end of the simulation, they can bring back items/cultivation/knowledge from the simulation.

I've enjoyed it so far. But I think I'll put it on hold for now to continue 'The World after the Fall'. That book seems to have a unique world. I quite like the personality of the MC.

'The World after the Fall' had an explosive start. There were a few things I wasn't sure about. Like for example, in the tower. Did people respawn?

Because it seemed like the MC got many attempts at tackling the tower. But then when fighting the demon. He speaks as if there is a reason the demon won't kill him.
