Today I want to again talk about 'Hard to Kill Strange? Sorry, I'm Immortal'. Or '诡异难杀？抱歉，我才是真正不死'. This novel in my opinion is PEAK! It is about a guy that wakes up and finds himself in another world. His 'wife' tells him breakfast is ready. He searches his memories, but can't remember ever having a wife! He responds to her and she becomes excited that he can see her! She kills him...
The story should end right? Nah. This man has a 'reset' ability that transcends gods and eldritch entities. He goes back in time and dies again, and again, and again from his wife.

This drives him completely insane. So insane that he becomes numb to death after dying 18 times to her. He ignores her existence completely and she isn't able to interact with him at all anymore.
He walks right through her like she is a ghost and goes outside.
But outside he sees that the skies are covered with gods, angels, and eldritch beings. But everyone is acting normally. Society hasn't collapsed. Why is this?
They can't see them at all! The MC is special. He has an innate ability to see the 'other side'. Through his eyes alone, he can bring these entities from the other side to his world.
It turns out this world has 'spiritual masters'. These are people that have survived contact with weirdness and have unlocked an ability. I'll give an example:
It is normally an obsession. For instance, a fat man that hated to walk places unlocked teleportation. The MC's ability actually has nothing to do with time. That is a completely seperate thing.
His ability he unlocks is 'pain'. When he hurts others. He can make people feel his pain. But he can also absorb others pain which heals them. He can absorb his pain making him heal in an instant.
I won't further spoil this book.
