Remember how in the last stage. I said It marked the start of me reading 'female lead' webnovels. I had thought initially that It would take many attempts for me to find a novel I enjoyed.

So I said I would start reading '快穿之位面养成记'. or 'Quick Transmigration: Plane Development Record'. I picked this novel because it was quite different from what I have read. Well, typically. Most of the webnovels I read have short descriptions and are easy to miss.

This novel promises a lot in the synopsis alone. But I wasn't expecting for it to go so hard.

That's right. I have only read the first 25 chapters. But I quite like the start of this novel. So today, we will be doing more memory infusion. I'll describe what it is about.

So the start might be a little confusing. So I'll simplify and explain it how I understood it.

The real MC is essentially a supreme being. Well, not exactly. A entity with an independent consciousness (I'm sure you see why I like this MC, an independent consciousness is always the goal). This 'thing' has insane mental power. Powers on a completely different level. She is essentially a nebula. Her perception covers a vast area.

But now. Let us talk about the other 'MC'.

So this story starts off as a 'system novel'. But it turns this on its head quite quickly. Think 'soul of negary'. Where the system uses and tricks the MC.

So the character we follow is having a BAD time. She was bullied all throughout highschool called things like 'the plastic surgery beauty'. Those she called her friends completely tricked and manipulated her.

Her mother was in an accident and the hospital bills made her desperate for money. So she got into the entertainment industry, but even then. She was abused and bullied still.

This became so horrible that later on. She committed suicide.

This is when the system appears. It will bring her mother back to life by doing what a system typically does. She binds with the system and goes back in time to before the accident that put her mom in the hospital.

But something crazy happened. Her soul was put in a storage space as the system shuttled through the universe to bring her back. The system passed through the territory of 'Hua'. Or the independent consciousness that is on another level of power. This thing is basically an observer. It lacks the desires and emotions of a human.

But it decides on a whim to follow her into a universe. A universe with different rules where she can be rejected. So as the MC clashes with her past soul. The system uses this moment to consume the soul entirely.

'Hua' or the independent consciousness can feel that she is rejected by reality. So she does something quite interesting. She enters the soulless body.

This allows her to stay in this universe (although it seems she abandoned her own? I don't understand all the mechanics)

The reason the human MC failed to revive in the past was due to her original soul power being equal to her past self(while her soul was stronger in the future, it lost some power from its deal with the system). Essentially, the human body was in a moment of terror from her situation that caused her to fail.

What 'Hua' does next made me quite interested in this novel and its future.

She first deals with the threats to the body. She then finds an isolated space and pulls up the inner-workings of the system. The system realizes it has bit off more then it could chew. It offers to help her and work for her. But she destroys its consciousness completely.

A dead system is a good system.

She then integrates the laws with herself.

This is the first time I've seen an MC just straight up dismantle the system at the very beginning of the novel. From that alone, I am interested and plan to keep reading.

This gives her the ability to access things the system originally would've given out as rewards.

Do I recommend this story? I would say yes so far. There is a lot of faceslapping, and the MC doesn't think like a ordinary person. Her mental power alone allows her to memorize books in an instant or learn martial arts right away. But she is in a modern world and has to pretend to be human.

I'd rate it 4.5/5 as of chapter 25 (A bit early to rate it)
