Have you ever wondered who my favorite author is? It is '文抄公'. He is called 'The Plagiarist'. He takes concepts he likes from other novels and does his own take on them.
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
An example would be 'The Wizard World'. The Plagiarist basically took the foundation of that book. But he didn't write fanfiction. He took the ideas and made his own take on it. Producing 'Warlock of the Magus World'. One of my favorite books (likely due to it being among the first webnovels I ever read).
But he didn't simply do it for this book.
He wrote things like '神秘之劫' which was like his take on lord of the mysteries.
Today I want to talk about his book called '苟在妖武乱世修仙'. This can be translated to something like 'Cultivating immortality in the troubled times of demons and martial arts world'.
The MC has the ability to shuttle between two worlds and the goldenfinger has potential to grow as the story continues. The MC basically possesses the body of a cultivator at the bottom of cultivation society. A level 3 qi condensation cultivator. Basically he has two world's.
A xianxia world
A wuxia world
It is interesting because as a cultivator he is dirt poor. But as a cultivator, the 'worthless' mortal things can be exchanged in the other world for treasures.
Basically by exchanging resources. He becomes quite rich.
An example would be doing body refinement. As a cultivator, he is too poor to also cultivate his body. But in the wuxia world he can use his resources as a cultivator and be a tycoon.
He has written quite a few interesting books. I definitely recommend his works.
