Being disconnected from everything can suck quite a bit. Enjoying things others create is one of the greatest joys in life. Together, you have infinite entertainment. Alone... you are more limited.

Why is this?

It has to do with your conscious limit. While your subconscious is capable of generating and handling many different stories. The conscious mind is more... 'slow'.

With access to the internet and technology. You have heaps of entertainment. Being in complete isolation, you can do just fine. But what about without it? Alone with nothing but your thoughts?

That is far less fun.

I hope we one day have the processing speed of our subconscious consciously! At that point. Reality is just an illusion...

There are billions of people on this planet and millions of them are generating content. Compared to that. The amount of content your brain can generate alone is incomparable. That is... unless you gain infinite time.
