“Is he really almost 150 celsius after taking a strong man’s punch?!” Captain Stretch asked.
He was watching a video recording on Beat Spring’s helmet that had caught Robin’s information when he removed the top half of his suit and released steam like crazy.
“Yeah, from what I get he has a pretty high heat tolerance because even after he took the punch and his body transformed that kinetic power into heat, he was still fighting as good as he did before. The heat had almost no effect on his rubber. Actually I think he even stretched longer and faster thanks to the heat loosening the rubber a bit. What is interesting is that the armor makes it hard for his body to sweat so it actually keeps him from losing water.” Springs said.
“This is quite dangerous with his current costume.” the captain said.
“Well that is what prototypes are meant for. After all, he has never been in combat so he never felt the good and bad that affects his body totally. I’m sure that his later year internship will be with much better armor.” Springs said.
“Right.” He said.
“That said, the boy has quite a good combat awareness. I checked up with the police about Metal Hand and surprisingly the gas they used to run was actually concentrated acidic gas formed from the acid generating minion. His instant takedown had made it impossible to run.”
“Well that is how sidekicks work.” The captain said without thinking much about it. A lot of people like to work alone but in truth sidekicks are as much a vital force to help as the main fighter. Each one had their targets.
“We will leave it for now.” he said and with a nod the next one presented the review of the next child.

In another part of the city, a scowling face watched several stronger members getting taken down because of the interference of the students.
“Intern week is such a pain in the ass. These solo ‘heroes’ always get the support they require to catch the entire group.” A voice said on the side.
“Do we do something about this, sir?” a woman asked.
“I think it might be a good idea to thin the herd as well as gain development information for our weapons. We don’t need to care about the loss of the grunts but we need to prepare for the Bravemen and even the heroes.” the leader said.
“About heroes, within 200 kilometers, there are no heroes.” He said.
“That doesn’t matter, that distance can’t stop them from arriving within an hour.” He said.
“Aren’t you as strong as one of them?” one of the minions asked.
“One of them, yes, but do you think that there is only one hero in the american union? Anyone that appears at the level of a hero will instantly draw them all. How is the progress on the prototypes?” he asked.
“Most of the basic models are complete. The new model nano muscles have replaced the old generation ones, we have about 50 which should be as strong as brave men.” one of the minions said.
“Do final tests and get ready to release them, make sure all systems are connected and being analyzed during all of this.” he said with a cold grin. “If the power is anywhere as good as what we assume it is with those world cores those freaks in Australia sold us then we will be able to get a pretty penny.” he laughed.
Everyone saluted and ran off to prepare.

BANG!
A strange humanoid smashed into the wall as a spinning fist ripped through the chest.
Robin was huffing as he turned to see Springs fighting a huge humanoid machine while all around even more of them were looking at him.
After three days into the internship, suddenly a huge number of robotic creatures came. Over 50% were humans while the larger ones were from transformer power humans who had been changed through cybernetics.
The scariest weren’t those though, Robin turned to face the path of destruction as the capital city of Richmond was being trashed by 50 massive 30 meter tall behemoths.
Every last one of them felt like they had infinite power and their attacks were very harsh. Robin’s body was already overheating from taking punches and he even took beams from these small androids.
He had several serious burns which had thankfully been taken when he was hardened or he might have gotten worse.
“What the hell are these?” He said and grit his teeth as jumped as several androids shot at him and he grabbed one of the poles all over while extending up several dozen meters before his body hardened and crashed down right on top of an android but that barely did anything except make it collapse.
“Bullet! Get out of here, it is too dangerous for you! Your suit can’t defend!” Springs shouted as he came close.
“What about you?” Robin asked.
“Do you think this is the first villain raid I’ve lived through? My armor is Braveman quality, true grade 4 armor.” he said and burst towards the large creature and his punches caused a massive shockwave that sent the cyborg beast flying and roaring in pain.
Robin scowled before jumping out of range followed by a salvo of beams.
“Target escaping, eliminate target!” one of the androids said and suddenly almost 100 of them activated some kind of flight mode to follow.
“Shit, so they are targeting the interns!” Springs said.
Robin looked back and frowned. “This is good, I can distract a good chunk of them while whittling them down but I can’t say the damage to the city will be small. There are also a lot of people who have yet to evacuate. This is seriously a disaster.” He groaned as he shot his arms and rapidly rushed forward while the androids were following and started to shoot at him.
The movements he had to take to dodge caused even more intense forces than normal swinging but he didn’t have the luxury and rushed forward until he turned one street only to see something he hoped he wouldn’t see.

In the middle of the road, a skeleton soldier sliced one of the androids at the neck while behind was a cloaked figure.
Milo was surrounded while his skeletons held car doors or walls protecting dozens of civilians.
“Shit!” Robin shouted before extending his arms and going down with full power as he crashed into the androids attacking the defensive wall and punching at point black range sending another flying.
“Robin!” Milo shouted.
“No now, don’t focus on skill, let out Scar!” Robin shouted.
Milo frowned under his cloak and instantly recalled Bargo, the skeleton soldier and his eyes glowed as a new opening came and from inside a large 5 meter long reptile rushed out.
Robin grinned, “I knew you would use the vitality pill.” Robin shouted.
“No now!” Milo shouted as the undead winged lizard roared and instantly drew in a lot of attention and the androids started to focus.
Scar was Milo’s dream child to possess a zombie dragon and with the pills he obtained, this dream was getting closer as the bones and body were healed and constantly strengthening both the zombie and Milo.
Scar reared up and roared as a green energy began to radiate from his body and gather at his throat and suddenly a greenish smog came out and hit all the nearest androids and they instantly started to melt under the smog.
“Dangerous substance located… unknown substance powered by death energy. Priority target change.” all the androids said.
This included those coming after Robin.
They all turned to Scar and their chests began to beep.
“They’re going to self detonate!” Robin shouted.
Robin had faced this several times.
“Scar! Defense!” Milo shouted.
It roared and crashed down squashing two androids while the dark mist covered his body while his eyes glowed through it.
“Get clear!” Milo shouted as the mist came from the skeletons as well and covered the tools they were holding.
Robin jumped up just as a massive explosion came filling the street with smoke.
Robin was thrown from the shockwave but he caught himself on a building and looked back.
“Milo!” he shouted and jumped down but suddenly the wings of the undead lizard spread, blowing the smoke away. It looked extremely weak but it was still in one piece, much better compared to the others.
As for the skeletons, the shielding was falling apart while the mist ate away at what remained and it broke down in their hands.
“What was that?” Robin asked, walking over to his cloaked friend.
“Undead have access to death energy. They learned to control it recently making them stronger, especially undead dragons. The breath was death dragon breath but it is pretty premature and it still takes damage and I’m still not sure how to fix that but death energy has a strong defensive ability by corrupting any other forces in contact.” He said.
“That’s good, let’s get all these people to safety first.” Robin said after getting a light explanation.
Milo nodded and together they guided people to evacuation areas.
“Where are your internship sponsors?” one of the military men.
“They are in the middle of fighting some of the bigger creatures. My sponsor is Beat Springs.” Robin said.
“I was following Skeleton Knight, he is in the middle of fighting the giant machines.” Milo said.
“I see, there are still a lot of androids, we are currently gathering interns and vigilantes to break through blockaded areas.” the soldier said.
“If you need help with drawing them, I am quick, I use the same spring style as Beat Springs.” Robin said.
“That’s good, we can set some ambushes then.” He said.
“One thing, you have to be careful of their self-destruct sequence.” Robin said.
“We know, it’s been causing a lot of casualties when they aim for strong fighters. Please start gathering groups while we prepare for the attack.” He said.
“Alright.” Robin said and got ready to leave but Milo went after him, “Are you okay with this?” He said.
“This isn’t something to think about, you should help the rescue teams like you’ve been doing. Your skeletons are better for that, Scar took a lot of damage and Brago still can’t do large damage so try to support the soldiers. You can relieve a lot of people of extra work. If you are worried then head to destroyed areas and use your skeletons to find trapped people. This isn’t the time to think if it is a good idea or not.” Robin said.
Milo grit his teeth before summoning a creature surprising Robin. It was a massive bird with mount gear.
“What is this?” Robin asked.
“A flying mount I made from the corpse of a bald eagle, Scar still can’t fly but this one can after it’s bones and muscles were strengthened. It can keep up with you so I’m going to help you. Although I can’t directly control death energy, I can still help.” He said. “Someone has to watch your back.” He said.
Robin smiled, “Yeah but can you ride that?”
“I can…” he said.
“Milo, I know you are scared, an introvert like you definitely will. Don’t worry about me, you are better at saving people at this moment.” he said, patting his friend on the shoulder. “In the future we will also be partners but right now each of us have different things we can do.” He said.
Milo looked down and nodded.
With that Robin stretched and rushed into the city.
Milo turned and asked to find the areas that were destroyed in the initial destruction before evacuation started and took his undead mount to the area and summoned his restored skeletons to help search for people that might be buried.

Looking down from a skyscraper, the leader of the villains witnessed the destruction in his surroundings while he had a helmet on and was constantly getting information.
“They are doing far better than I thought it would be. What is the information on the androids?” he asked.
“Currently about 40% of the humanoid androids have been destroyed, 60% of those were self destruction against more formidable foes. Beast droids have suffered an 75% decimation as the Brave and strongmen are dealing with these first while the company commanders are in the middle of fighting the Giant cyborgs but none of them have fallen yet. Damage to them has been estimated to less than 20%.” a voice in his helmet said.
“And damage to these trashy heroes?” he asked.
“Currently we have confirmed the death of 300 vigilante, 30 strong men while the intern students have almost 30% of their number in critical condition or dead and another 40% have been injured from the self destruction however it seems the military and students have started to work together.” the operator said.
“Hmph, how many of the beast droids were left stored?” He asked.
“About 100 remain inactive sir.” the operator said.
“Release them with target priority on students. I want at least a 60% death rate.” He said.
“Understood sir.”
Culling the flow of future reinforcements was a constant battle between villains and those heroes. A few minutes later, reinforcements on the villains' side rushed out like a stampede heading towards the areas that intern students were located.
That said at the same time vigilante reinforcements all began to arrive from the many counties and surrounding cities and among them were heroic course teachers.
They rushed into the cities and began to spread around to provide support.
Among them Mr Atlas was extremely worried as he carried a basket of only complete stones, five in total.
Connecting to the town system he quickly tried to find the children from his school, in particular the club members doing internships and then compared it to the most dangerous places.
“Shit, a few of them are in the danger zones. I need to get there fast.” He said and suddenly saw a massive beast rush out through the streets.
With worry he didn’t think as he rushed forward and it turned and rushed at him with massive mechanical enhancements boosting it but his body began to radiate energy and when they clashed the ground instantly broke but he stopped the massive strongman level beast droid and pulled the creature into a spin and threw it up before jumping without dropping his stones and punched it down to the ground before the five stones flew out on their own and came crashing down like meteors.
“I don’t have time.” He said and unhestitantly snapped the trapped creature’s neck and ran while his stones floated after him and he enhanced his legs to rush faster towards the gathering danger over his students.
