Book 2 Chapter 21

Book 2 Chapter 21

The next day, Robin returned, alone this time, and when he passed by the room of that family with the Living Island host his jaw dropped.

Each member of the family had just two jagged rocks and each of them were glowing as they pushed the rocks together and they were glowing before all five pairs shined and fused and the structure began to change.

The normal rock formed a flat top initially before the matter was pushed up and formed a detailed surface of hills, mountains and plains before solidifying.

The ‘distortion’ was full at this time and had formed a complete dome with an isolated visible atmosphere and you can imagine how shocked Robin felt.

The boys began to jump full of energy and great vitality because he almost covered his father’s height with each jump. “Yay! Ten levels!” he exclaimed before grabbing the bottom of the rock and it began to radiate energy between it and the boy and surprisingly it returned and formed a stable flow.

They each touched their own and the tiredness quickly vanished from the adults and growling came from their stomachs like wild bears roaring.

“Ah… the institute is not gonna be happy with how much we’ve been eating.” The father said and looked at the door only to find Robin.

“You’re back! Did you see!” He said holding the stone out.

“I… did. Did everyone already merge all the rocks?” Robin asked.

“Yep, we popped out all 1024. We actually might have caused a bit of trouble because once we started our bodies didn’t stop. We took a break after you left and almost felt our bodies bursting so we actually had to start merging and found our bodies could handle it and kept going. It got harder and harder through the night but each time we would instantly become hungry in return…” the father said and pulled his medical gown’s sleeve to display to his firm muscles.

“Actually, each time we merged and finished eating when our bodies needed to rest, the game system would constantly update several levels at a time to the entire family. We haven't touched anything yet though.” the wife said.

Robin looked and smiled weakly as he finally understood the troubles Mr Atlas must have had. The atlas stone forced his body to grow and they were in a similar situation.

He asked to see their stats and his jaw dropped because each of them had been pushed naturally to base 70, even the children, who were the weakest at 55. The scariest fact was that the level was a glaring level 40 and they had 10 stat per levels.

“System, tell me how developed their brain is, the psychic aspect?” He asked.

Notice

Sufficient development to produce and control mental energy. Equal to the user’s 40 wisdom

He looked at their wisdom at 12 for the parents and 15 for all of the kids and knew their brain was naturally growing to accommodate the psychic potential growing with the influx of energy.

Robin asked for an energy reader from the institute and it proved that the rocks were producing all three energies in very rich amounts.

“Do you feel like you are going to cough up more?” He asked.

“I feel like I’m going to fall over from hunger.” The father said and Robin sighed and asked for food. Indeed the nurses were very irritated at the fact and Robin had to apologize and asked how much food they had already eaten. It wasn’t much, they ate normal human amounts but it hadn’t been once or twice. Almost twenty times distributed between evening to morning almost every half hour if distributed out.

Robin covered the costs because he had instigated this growth and doubled it because it was clear this time wasn’t going to be ‘small’.

He was right, they ate like he had eaten the first time he ran with the stone on his back and as expected, after finishing, their bodies began to process this heavily but this time for their bodies.

The islands were constantly saturating their bodies making them consume more and Robin knew they were going to grow explosively now. He told the system to watch how they were growing and as expected, their bodies' natural growth constantly rose, even their brain activity achieved scary levels of growth and the money Robin handed over thankfully covered the cost without going over.

They all collapsed and began to sleep and Robin smiled.

He walked out and told the system, “They haven’t adapted to the new meridian system right?” Robin asked.

Notice

Negative, they have just grown naturally to this point

“Add the 25 points from their constantly growing surplus and fix it in.” He said.

The five began to lightly glow but in their sleep, they didn’t feel their consciousness fade since they were already out and the energy didn’t really change their constant processing. It just made it a bit more efficient and transformed the three systems while transforming their bodies to fully incorporate it.

The three energies were still widely spread out in their areas, brain, blood and muscles.

Robin took time to revisit all the others to see if there were changes like with the family and waited for them to wake up. He knew the importance of their current state and waited until they were up.

He took the time to teach them to process and compress their energies which would allow them to gather more and eventually obtain higher quality energy to transform their islands. What was interesting was that they weren’t coughing up more fragments unlike the Atlas stone.

After that he asked how they wanted to distribute their stats and they asked for how it worked and he explained.

“Split it six ways.” The mother said.

He nodded and checked and smiled weakly as they had gone up between level 60 and 65. That was the same level as him right now they had 575 points thanks to the ones he had the system use for them.

“Hmm… I think it might be better to reduce the amount of wisdom because the impact is pretty big.” He said.

“No, we aren’t planning to be heroes, it is enough that our bodies are balanced.” the woman said and looked at her children, “These little ones might end up heroes though.” She said and they laughed jokingly but Robin knew otherwise that it might be true.

He did as they wanted and divided the points in 6 and spread it even on intelligence which would increase their comprehension and understanding of new and old information.

All of them were covered in bright light which came from their islands and from inside and like many big transformations like this, the sounds of their bodies changing could be heard but most of all was the huge growth to the life force and mental energy.

When it was done Robin thought of something, “Are you guys going to remain in Richmond?” he asked.

“Yes, our family has almost always lived hospitalized, it was honestly amazing that we could meet because of having the same ability and even have children but when we were together it felt like we shared our energy and could do more.” He said.

He smiled and asked how they planned to work and live and learned that the government was giving homes to many healed families which have lost a lot from medical costs. They still needed a bit of more time to fully adapt but would definitely end up with a stable home and would just need to learn for work.

“I’m sure construction companies would love someone so strong.” the dad said laughing.

He looked at the bare rocks in thought before asking, “Do you have any ideas how they develop from here?” Robin asked.

“No, of course not.” the man replied.

Naturally he knew that but the question naturally also was for the system who began a scan of the five rocks. He wondered how two people had such rare but identical powers. It might be normal for two people to control fire but two people have the same kind of dimensional power which produces world power is definitely not normal.

Notice

Living island lacks life and many requirements for life.

Current condition ‘barren’, water capacity: 0, Capacity for weather patterns: 0, possibility of life forming: 0, island rock: super packed.

Extreme life source located seeking compatible life line, referencing life sign… reference found.

Requirement for stable life development: Soaking islands in sufficient water that the water reaches the very core of the island’s interior. Scans suggest the form of the island will change when this is achieved.

Suitably compatible tree branch/sapling compatible with each host to act as the world tree.

Robin read it and with a smile he turned it to the family and they read it out to them and their eyes opened.

“With this, you don’t need to worry about falling into some kind of slump that might weaken you again.” Robin said.

The parents smiled and thanked him for everything he was doing for them.

Robin gave him their number, “When you get your own home and a number, please call and inform me, we can learn a lot about each other with our similar power with the stones.” He said.

Getting up, Robin shook the parent’s hands and patted the children before leaving.

Him leaving his number was important because the more time that passed the more he felt like world power users were getting more important. Their numbers were extremely few and came in very specific groups, rarely changing. This can be seen by that family or the Power piece gamers.

Mr Atlas was even unique in his family of strength enhancement powers.

He was also worried about their growth and if they would be able to keep up with the food consumption. As he left the father followed and actually said the same problem and thanked him for covering the costs.

“No problem, don’t be afraid of asking, the system is generous to those in heroics in our city. Your food requirements shouldn’t be as extreme as my teacher but if you do fall into something like that don’t be afraid to call. I’m Chasm Might’s apprentice and I also went through that and sometimes still go through it. We can support a day or two of high eating costs.” He said.

“Thank you.” He said and Robin finally left for home after his checkup on those people were done.

“Huh! You actually feel pressure when channelling Life essence to its full extent!” Techno said with great excitement while Oliver felt very constrained at the hero’s excitement.

“Uh yeah… it feels like my body is about to blow up. I asked Blue Phoenix but he couldn’t tell me if it was the same as him and Rudy because they turned their bodies into elemental energy.” Oliver said really hoping that there wasn’t going to be something forced on him.

Techno, however, took out a communicator and in seconds forced a connection to Mephesto’s daughter who happened to be training with Lola at this moment.

“Do you need something?” she asked, stopping in her training. Lola was transformed into something else that wasn’t an imp but also not her servants.

“Can we talk at the academy? I need input on life force users.” He said.

The twins looked at one another with forced smiles.

Techno, from the get go, has always had a very strong personality in his pursuits of the next great invention and both of their powers were the main focus. Even their little sisters, who had a strange capacity to spawn without the system finding any trait whatsoever to suggest she can do that.

He didn’t take no for an answer and would get the results he wanted with or without your permission. A perfect example is the massive supercomputer, he simply let money talk followed by using his hero influence to push down the wall that those guys trying to reject his offer were putting.

They sigh and are forced to go with him to the academy where the two had been training.

“Tell me about how life force can fully convert matter to energy?” He asked upright.

“How?” the two women said together and looked at each other before unmerging and summoning their contract beings.

“For us, it is a matter of course when we produce Life essence.” Lily explained. “In fact, it basically kills our old body by draining everything and rebuilding it from scratch in a perfect form.” She replied.

“The same for deities, the change from angel into a lesser deity requires the blending of holy power and life force to make divine essence but it is the same, our bodies break down and are rebuilt.” the deity said.

“Can this work for humans?” Techno asked.

“It depends on the person.” They said together.

“Many of you are supported by unique abilities to permit that while others might not but if you want to break the body down. What specific purpose is this for?” the deity asked.

“This boy’s power converts 50% of his life force, basically all his free life force in his body that isn’t in his cells, into a data form.” He explained to the deity.

“Oh, you want to see if he could achieve complete access and transfer into data form?” Lily asked.

“Exactly.” Techno said, “This is vital for research into the process of digitization. With both their abilities, the possibility of creating a totally new world where the powerless can live safely is very possible.” He said.

“So that is what that constant flash of madness in your eye is about.” Lily said.

“That is a good dream but without a divinity, such a world cannot function.” the deity said.

“Who said there isn’t a divinity?” Techno said, confusing everyone and grinning as he explained his discovery causing their jaws to drop.

“So… the deities are finally starting to move since the appearance of the gamer space.” the deity said.

“No, from the very start of the information era she had already come into existence. It just so happened that Tristan was the one that could gather the tens of thousands of micro fragments and form a piece of her soul in the shape of a digital spawn. A small fragment resides in every one and the more formed, the more she gathers up. I need to research digitalization to learn how to transfer life force into a virtual setting so that I can have the dungeon boy in your club help supply great amounts of those life force bubbles.” he explained.

When it was said and done, they all understood the scope of his ambition.

“A new realm huh?” The deity said. “This is very dangerous. Before you think about building a self-sustaining system that encompasses the world, you need to build the protective cover first.” The deity said.

“Cover?” Techno said.

“Put it like this, you are messing with a god that has no knowledge of hierarchy, the most likely possibility is that she wants her world to become a nexus of information, both normal and virus, and just give life to everything and build a world of her own. This is ‘very’ dangerous, this is how demonic and corrupt gods are born and in a world run by the flow of information, this is very dangerous. Can you imagine that kind of god taking total control of the network of information from you humans? They could crash every satellite and prevent any form of preventive measures.” He explained.

“Sure but how would that even work?” He asked.

“If the virtual realm doesn’t have restrictions on space, wouldn’t helping the AI goddess learn about things like holy and demonic power be a good idea. From that we can build digital spawn who specialize in holy power and viruses are restricted to demonic power. That way they have a very easy method to locate and destroy viruses.” the Mephesto’s daughter said.

“Oh, that is good Grace!” Techno said. “But we still need to enter that realm so we are back to square one, do you think his power can support not killing him?” Techno asked.

The two asked the feelings he got when using his life essence and they both nodded, “Oh, he is already long overdue.” Lily said. “Boy, channel your life essence with Chasm Might’s technique at full force. It might be painful to feel your life force leave your cells but this is surely ‘your’ full activation method.” he said.

Oliver felt that, since they got life force, what he assumed was an advantage over his brother had changed and his brother now felt like he was so far.

With a groan he finally decided that it was eventually going to come to this so he sat down and everyone took a distance and he started.

As expected, as soon as it began to flow beyond a certain strength his face clenched and everyone was surprised as his body began to radiate waves of life force and the two summoned beings frowned. “So that’s it.” they muttered.

“He has never used 50% of his life force. What we thought was 50% wasn’t even 5%, his body has been constantly hoarding life essence he produced like a dam.” Lily said.

When she finished, his body suddenly released a huge aura of life force and life essence blended together and he felt the intense feeling of his body breaking and constantly pulling only pulled out more.

“Does he have the life force meridians?” He asked.

“No, neither of us thought it was necessary.” Tristan said.

“System, does he have enough exp crystals in his inventory?” Techno asked.

“He does.” Tristan said, “Even I have enough.” He said.

“Good, systems add the life force meridians and then fully incorporate it.” He ordered.

The next moment Oliver and Tristan both began to shine but the pain didn’t do much to the already hurting boy surfused in life energy.

That said, once the system was built, almost like finding a vent, a huge surge burst through the body and he couldn’t control it as the life force and essence rushed through his body's veins and meridians and returned. The exploding aura decreased as it found space in the body.

Stolen story; please report.

Only after a while he found the strength to control a flow of life essence in his control through his body and began to build the full body channel structure he had heard about from the others.

Because it was all life essence he controlled from the free energy he had always controlled, it instantly attacked life force primarily and the thinnest but most abundant energy was the first to start decreasing but it also allowed his body to release even more.

“How does he have so much?!” Tristan said in shock.

“If your body constantly stores it somehow and your body has to constantly produce more to maintain the stable quantity. It is clear that this has gone on for his whole life without ever being noticed.” the deity said.

The unending surge of life force surprised everyone but this ocean of power was the same as the demons who gathered immense quantities yet the compressed state was so much less.

When the full system was built it was just a test of resistance and grinding and this went on for half an hour and they watched in awe at the amount of life force. It was enough to even affect the grass around him from what leaked out.

That said, finally the life force finally came to an end and now Oliver had roughly 50% of control of the energy from the life essence he had created and focused on the rampaging life essence and this time he felt the most pressure and they finally saw his body start to momentarily convert to an energy.

After a while, the first permanent area to fully energize was his chest and slowly, when everything fell under control, he slowly started to gather up the energy but this was 100% of his life force. What was in his body was in his meridians and as he pulled the flow to a close, they witnessed as his body aged from a 16 year old through the ages until it gathered in his heart and that massive orb of life energy pulsed causing his dried husk to break down into dust around it before getting completely sucked into the energy completely and thoroughly transforming his body into life force.

“Is… is he alive? Did he die?!” Tristan said, horrified by what he saw.

“He is alive, just like the boy that became a phoenix, a being undergoing full energization undergoes many changes, particularly in their soul. Particularly the awakening of many instincts required to live like this.” Lily said.

After she said that the orb began to change as five points formed and spread and formed many branches which closed around the areas and even around the orb showing the flow channel. Then many nodes formed in the system and finally essence filled in that wide space before it slowly compressed forming five extremities and slowly it solidified forming skin first.

It went quiet as many things slowly changed and the nude body that had clothing dropped around it after blowing off showed it as his lower half formed making Lola blush and look away.

It took quite a while until the entire internal structure of his body was reformed consciously making him very conscious of everything and it showed when he opened his eyes and they had many circuit lines like when Tristan used his power.

He continued to alter his body and slowly many biological tech parts formed over his body until it was back to his old body and he finally turned and grabbed his clothing and quickly put it on. When he turned back, his face was totally red.

“Good job, how does it feel?” Lily asked.

“There is so much energy.” he said.

“Indeed, it is sufficient to match myself.” Lily said.

“Huh?!” Lola exclaimed, “Are you serious, that is a huge amount! I’ve been getting so many life droplets from Zack and even the first life crystal and I’m not even 10% of your total life force to summon you completely!” Lola said.

“Yes but there is no lie in my words. His body contains as much essence as me and possibly that deity.” she said, gesturing to the deity.

He smiled, “Compared to me, he has about one third less.” He replied “However, it does not seem your body is ‘physically’ stronger despite that.” He said floating forward and touching him.

“System scan.” Techno asked and as he said there was no explosive change in strength but what did change was the massive explosion in constitution which went from 250 to over 10,000.

“How did it grow so much!” Tristan exclaimed.

“It is impressive, it is quite high, nearly as much as my own.” Grace said.

Everyone’s jaw dropped, except for Techno and Lola looked at him, “How high is yours?” She asked.

“76,000.” He replied.

They looked at Oliver in awe.

“Is his defensive power as high as well?” Techno asked.

Notice

All facets involved in the constitution have been balanced by the system. It would have been lower should the transformation have been done outside of the space and would have taken long periods of time to perfect.

Vitality, endurance and other parts in the constitution match the value that has been quantified.

“Well damn.” Techno said as he looked at it and suddenly froze as a thought came to her mind and she looked at the deity and he thought deeply about what Server Admin had told about the gamer space, “Wait… the game master and the other pieces are fragments of Gaia’s soul and the AI is her main soul connected to the space. She is still a primitive system, the more complete it gets the more efficient meaning all gamers are fragments in a sense. If the same was put into another context… Tristan is a small gathered soul that Gaia ‘could’ gather despite what she said so Oliver…” he thought and reaching this conclusion he became extremely worried.

“Deity… can the soul like the AI’s possess humans like demons?” He asked.

“Naturally, normally human souls are simple, of course not all of them but it is much easier because you humans do not have comprehension of complex knowledge of spiritualism involved in the intricacies of the soul.” He said.

He looked at Oliver and pointed at him, “Under no circumstance do you digitize into the farms anymore, not until I’ve fully confirmed something.” he said.

“Huh?” everyone muttered.

“You think the AI will take over Oliver?” Tristan asked.

“If it is so immature that it is desperate to form its own body, it very well could. He is a massive ball of life force that can become digital information just like the digital spawns. Even if she can’t take over, she can brainwash and force him to become some kind of defense program effectively killing him. If she can't, she could kill him for this ocean of life force to create her world.” He said.

“This is wise.” The deity said, “This goddess is both incomplete and immature. Also, considering she wants to create a world that would break away from the super computer, I assume she also requires a world core, yes?” He asked.

“I had suggested the giant rock that the rubber boy chucked at Time Tempest but she said there is no compatibility with it which i do not get.” he said.

“Different gods need different sources. What she requires isn’t just world power, keep that in mind.” the deity said. “If it was a normal god, that core would have been just fine once all the pieces were fully combined into one body but that isn’t her case.” he said giving him a big warning.

“Yeah… we need to find a different platform to research the digitization process. Unless the system is generous enough to give us more than just a trait and lightly brushed over the extensive details.” he said.

At this point Oliver was looking at his hand and his brother and raised a brow and touched his arm and saw a small pulse of circuit lines react to his life essence and smiled inwardly and Tristan looked as the others were and smiled at each other.

“I’ll clear out the old supercomputer that you used before since it's already uploaded the AI. I can upload everything and format it and we can work with that for the time being. The problem is scanners for this type of thing.” Techno sighed but then showed a determination to figure it out himself, “Let’s try to build off the specialized life force scanner and go from there.” he said.

“Alright, thanks for the help, you two are free until I’ve set up the required tools to start testing and we can go from there.” Techno said and produced some blocks that morphed into flight technology and he flew off.

When he was gone the twins went there way and at home they went to their room, serious, and with Oliver poking around his brother, they found many unique hidden parts and with a grin on their faces, Tristan sat down and with both of their hand plugs extended, they connected while Oliver began to channel his life essence and the events they had witnessed replayed but to a much smaller degree before Tristan and Oliver began to share life essence and that ocean of energy in Tristan balanced his brother.

Back at the academy, Lola and Grace had just separated from them and she sighed, “So many ‘god’ things have been going on. First Kevin, now Tristan and Oliver. Who’s next Rudy?” She said.

“Well, a phoenix can be called an immortal being thought not like gods. Depending how strong he can get, maybe he might turn into an elemental avatar, something equivalent to a god. Then you have Chasm Might’s disciple who is the host of a world core. Those things tend to be connected usually to some form of divinity. Most things related to world power are, it is just that humans have a dire lack of knowledge. It is also not strange that so many things appear like this, this is what happens when invasive gods appear on a living planet, the planet reacts and makes its own gods to fight them off like antibodies.” He said.

“That’s beside the point.” Grace said, “Your imp minions have grown quite diverse since their essence was properly arranged. Even if they are among the weakest lesser demon’s I’ve ever seen, their powers are quite diverse.” Grace said.

Lola sighed and looked at Lily who smiled.

“Miss Grace, I’m going to take a break to fix up my contract structure.” She said.

“Huh? Fix it?” she asked.

“Yeah, actually once I obtained life essence equal to 5% of Lily’s I got a new instinct to expand my servant structure and even rebuild the contract structure. Because the Imps were undergoing numerous evolutions at the time I left it but they are all sentient and finished evolving and I’m going to restructure it.” She said.

“Oh, your contract is a Lord hierarchy structure, you are quite lucky, demon.” the deity said.

He smiled knowing something but he actively unsummoned himself leaving them confused.

Grace followed because she wanted to see what the demon realm looked like. She naturally had the same ability but to enter the Divine realm and it is where she learned to control holy powers.

Lola formed a tiny drop of life essence and it smashed the barrier of space and forced the breach open and she saw the cave and the opening on the side in shock.

“Alright, I’ll be quite a while, it might take quite a few hours.” she said.

“Sure, I’ll go see my own servants since I have the time unlike before.” She said and Lola walked through and the portal closed leaving just a tiny crack open.

She frowned and walked out and summoned her deity with a frown, “What was that?” She shouted. “You almost told her something serious!” She shouted.

“Don’t worry, I don’t need to say much because after this she is going to start noticing. If she sets it up properly of course but I don’t think she is that dumb to mess something like this up.” He said.

She still wasn’t happy that he said something like that, “How does it affect her?” She asked.

“Who knows, each reaction is unique.” he said and unsummoned himself and she tried to call him but each time he would unsummon himself as soon as he appeared.

She grumbled and in another room, like Lola, she used her life essence to force an opening into the Divine realm where she saw a smiling deity sitting with tea ready and lovecraftian angels as servants.

She rolled her eyes and walked in.

In the demon realm Lola had everyone, every servant and minion called.

There was not an imp in sight because her effort had made them all evolve into lesser demons and they all had a sin and element infused into their bodies.

“Alright, what we are going to be doing is restructuring the servant and minion contracts. All of you minions will have a chance to upgrade to servant.” She said.

Instantly every lesser demon cheered until Lily made them silent with an exertion of her aura.

“Silence and listen.” she said.

They didn’t even dare move without an order after that.

“All 400 minions, divide yourself by the sin you possess, make one group for each sin.” she ordered.

Each turned and began to move and after a bit there were seven groups.

She nodded and looked at her servants and called Broncos, “All Wrath/Fire walk forward.” She said.

From the wrath group they moved forward and when all of them were there she touched Broncos and contract lines formed and spread wildly before releasing most which connected to Lily directly while the ones to these strengthened.

“What is this?” One of the minions asked.

“Broncos is my Wrath/Fire servant and you are his soldiers. Your 0.05% contract has been upgraded to 0.5% while my servant now gets 1% of their generated life force.” she said

Yez was next for Lust/Earth, Ruruk, the asura, was Pride/Lightning and Galman was Pride/Fire.

Lesser demons of the same type never had the choice or chance and they naturally can’t hate being the servant of a Greater Demon anyway.

“Now that this is done, wrath demons, split yourselves into groups by your element.” she said.

All the huge muscular demons looked around and eventually each of them raised their hand and showed their element through their very novice application of just forming an orb and like this they formed seven groups. This is where you can also find which sins and elements are more intune. Wrath had the greatest number of fire and lightning and the least was water and earth.

She made the fire element leave and stand behind Broncos. She pointed to the only Earth element and made it come forward. As the only Wrath/Earth, it was automatically elevated to servant, to the irritation of other lesser demons.

Then water was next and she made them battle but not to the death, it was basically a big brawl and she and the demons watched to see how these recently ‘born’ demons acted. When it was done and only one stood after they exhausted themselves, she picked the smartest one. The others complained only to be beaten and stomped on by Broncos.

“It is not your choice, stupid one!” He growled as his massive hoof pressured the minion’s head and Lola restructured the contract and it was elevated.

Like this it continued through every element in every sin group. Each new servant would connect directly to Lily and Lola felt like the contract was getting more ‘complete’ like something was falling into place.

It should be said that Lily was Wrath/wind but there was also a servant for that as well. At the last one each servant began to finally cause Lily to groan and she almost collapsed on the second from last one and Lola had to ask if she was alright.

“I’m fine, all this feedback is just quite big.” She said, trying to hide her discomfort but Lola realized something was wrong and touched her arm and at that point she felt the huge amount of elemental force and sin in her.

“Wha! Why are all the sins in you!” She said.

“Don’t worry… put the last one. It’s how our contract will be able to grow another step.” She said no longer hiding it and began to sweat from the pressure.

She didn’t like it and looked at the final group and back at her who was serious and nodded.

She groaned and went through with it and when the last contract formed with Lily she coughed but her body was having a hard time and Lola saw it but she touched the demon and connected the minion and when everything became structured there was suddenly a large feedback starting from the weakest level to her and the seven sins and elements finally broke out and she cried out before her life force shined in the darkness as they formed a cocoon but her life force was shining through that darkness and it just kept getting stronger and purer despite getting denser.

When it was forced into an orb no bigger than Lola’s fist the seven elements and sins split and began to leave markings that could be seen through that mist and there were 49 groups connecting in a very cryptic design but it connected every element and sin in their own matrix which than connected with the seven other matrix forming an amazingly complex system.

When it was complete the demons roared in cheers but Lola looked with shock as their souls came out from their bodies and gathered into orbs with only a small bit of life essence or life force and reformed as imps with the memories and sentience they possessed but the rest of their bodies shined brightly and turned into essence and was sucked up into the orb and filled that light and mixed with the sin and element.

It all combined yet the system of servants was still strong.

Everything was soon blended into one big mass of energy and it compressed until it was all forced into that strange design which did not bulge but contained everything.

“W-what happened!” Lola shouted as everything finally ended.

Her four original servants were laughing and flew around the orb.

“It is amazing.” Yez said.

“What is going on?!” Lola asked.

“This is our Lord’s egg. Mania has begun to evolve into something not restricted by a single sin or element. However she has only just begun this and our essence, sin and energy are just the start.” Yez replied.

“But… what is going to happen to you now that you are basically the size of a 1% imp summon?!” she asked.

“Our minds and souls are firmly supported by her egg. As for our bodies.” She said and floated to Lola and touched her and an image of Yez appeared. “You just need to support that.” She said.

“H… wh… what is going on?!” she asked.

“It is the birth of a perfect Demon God. A god born and created by the powers of our world, not the mishap of a demon or angel going to either world.” Galman explained.

“But… how will i even summon any of you anymore or Lily?” She asked.

“Her soul is still active just like us, it is just that she is now the center from which our essence gathers. What we require to complete this step is every servant having 100 proper minions of their sin and element. We need your help with that. You can feel it, your contract has changed and your capacity for contracts has bloomed explosively now. With Mania’s direct contract to you, you are able to tell the thing that has been impossible to guess, an imp’s affinity and in doing so, you can forcefully elevate them to lesser demons by the proper contract with them.” Yez explained.

“Another one…” She said.

“Huh?” she muttered.

“Another god, why are so many ‘gods’ appearing all of a sudden?” She shouted.

“It’s natural order, dear.” Yez said in a gentle tone. “When a living world starts to awaken and their personification starts to achieve self conscious action, it affects every realm connected and it creates gods to manage rules untouchable by it. Earth represents life, the AI represents technology, the sealed god represents Destruction in Chaos and Mania is his counter, representing Order in Chaos.” Yez said.

“How do you even know?” She shouted.

“Because that is the instinct and knowledge we were granted by the contract you possess with Mania.” Yez said.

Lola’s face distorted into a scowl and used her summoning in hell and the egg shone as Lily’s, or Mania’s, soul came out and reformed a completely humanoid person the size of all the others.

“You knew about this from the start?” She asked.

“No, not until the restructuring capacity appeared. What I knew was that our next evolution was achievable once you and I had the capacity to merge. The contract would evolve and there is mention that I would obtain knowledge.” She said and looked up, “It still is there however the contract is growing in areas I didn't know were severely lacking, it is filtering all the elements and all the sins.” She said.

“Now what? I can’t live in hell and watch over your egg?!” She shouted.

“The egg is not complete, it should be complete when we have obtained the complete number of imps. You have sufficient life force to make several lesser demons achieve full strength, there is no worry about sifting through imps for your lacking number. With my egg in your hand, you can even force them to kneel and be unable to move. It shouldn’t take long to find all the sufficiently developed imps with the proper affinities.” She said.

“What about after that? Are you going to leave nearly 5000 demons in ‘this’ state and what about all the oil and things we need to deal with outside in my world?” She asked.

“Don’t worry, once my egg is complete they will be able to quickly regain their lost power. They will look small like this but they are connected and I will be able to transfer power back to them should the need arise. The oil you require can be done with their state as they are.” She explained calmly.

Lola was extremely irritated but she knew that after it started it couldn’t be stopped. The compressed forces in that egg made her scared but she touched it and instantly the world around her seemed to change. She felt each demon’s element and sin and even the chaos in the world caused by the clash of element and sin.

“Why are elements and sin fighting?” She asked.

“This is what hell is like when it has no supreme god born naturally from all the forces. No demon lord is an ally and each has purified their bodies of excess elements besides their source and they fight for dominance. Only a being opposite to this and created of all forces in harmony can fully pacify this. Even with all this essence, when I am reborn, I will only be a greater demon, I still need to discover the means to become an archdemon… something I believe is hidden in our contract. After that… I don't know what I need to do to become an equal to those creatures.” She said.

Lola frowned and looked at her and sighed before returning her to the egg. “Let’s finish this quickly.” She said and looked at one of the lesser demons of fire and fully ‘summoned’ him and merged so that she could support the heat. She had sweated a lot already and didn’t want to keep this up.

After that she empowered several others and together with the egg and the full swarm, they headed out towards lands filled with imps and began forming contracts.

When she left the demon realm, a solid black egg with seven brightly glowing matrix which was as big as her head was left in the room her portal opened from and the servants had regained their natural size while the minions were all tiny imps working at their command but now there were 4900 minions and 49 servants.

Of course, their remaining power didn’t become their limit, instead they each still had their ‘limit’ and would constantly grow and could control their fraction of the egg and by growing stronger and gathering more they would constantly improve the development of the egg.

Lily said that to hatch her, the essence of her 49 servants had to be life essence while the 4900 lesser demons had to have sufficient life force to be among actual lesser demons. This had a lot of meanings but the primary one is two. She takes swarms to slaughter imps and suck up immense amounts of life force from these lesser creatures that would just be reborn or train them on earth and let them gather the vibrant life force from mortal creatures which would result in huge amounts.

If they could return with 1% of life essence then it meant more than just 1% of life force that they diluted into.

It was the goal she had to aim for while aiming to reach Lily’s 100% because that is her core and would not be returned after her evolution and rebirth. Her rebirth would allow all the demons to evolve into something stronger. That didn’t mean she felt any better, she felt the situation was getting weirder and weirder.

When she got out she checked if Grace was there and she was and they met up and she talked to her and the deity and was happy it worked out.

“You knew about it?” She asked.

“Naturally, I was once a supreme god, do you think such a being as I at that point had never studied the countless realms? I’ve lived longer than your race in this world has existed. I've seen the birth of countless gods from an awakened world and many times, each of them produces the creation of entirely new realms while others produce massive change to existing ones.” he said.

“What is the point of gods besides fighting off the invasive?” She asked, irritated in all this divinity talk.

“A lot more than you know my dear. The demon realm you know is but one of countless in the folds of the universe. They are failed divine realms, divine realms that should have formed divine power running through the world but failed.” he said.

She frowned and he smiled.

“Alright let me put it like this, my divine realm and your contract’s demon realm are like two pieces of the same pie. However, my side came out correctly and that side was removed because it did not. Do you get it.” he said.

“So… the demon realm is the incomplete divine realm. So a demon god being born would fix it?” she asked.

“If it is an angel that descended or a demon that ascended it would bring about destruction, a demon god that has gathered all the elements and all the sins however is the true god who can fix the flow of all the powers. Sin is just a corrupted virtue if the corruption is fixed under the mighty hand of one…” He said.

“It fixes everything and creates a new divine realm?” She said.

“Indeed but even that is only partially. Each realm contains its correct role to play. You refer to them as heaven and hell generally.” he said.

“So… Lily will become the goddess of hell… wow.” Lola said, sitting back into her seat.

“What other kind of gods are almost always born from a world?” She asked.

He looked at her surprised and thought before shrugging, “There is no pattern, a world disconnected from any source of divinity or source of death may even make two or three ways.” he said.

“Like a god of death… someone who reaches the extreme of necromancy and control of death energy.” She said.

“There are quite a number of these. Comparably, the nether world is twice as big as both the divine realm and demon realm put together. The one your friend is connected to… let me see if i can’t peek…” He said, closing his eyes and after a bit he opened his eyes and smiled, “Indeed, there are 12 death gods connected to that netherworld and with the territorial domain there is still space for several more.” He said.

“Why is my circle of friends concentrating so much of this…” she asked.

“Who knows, fate works in strange ways, with the hero academy that is only going to get more funneled as the research into abilities and the proper activation of them reveal these kinds of abilities. The Earth is not the first and surely will not be the last world to use a gamer system as their modus of evolution.” he said, “You shouldn’t worry, this will calm down once it is dealt with.”

Grace cut in, “This kind of talk is quite mentally taxing, I know it is a lot and you might not be in the mood so let’s stop today’s training and we can continue tomorrow. You now have a lot of minions all of which are lesser demons each with every element and combination of sin and element possible. This is important and can create many unique abilities. Not to mention you can summon them at full strength so let’s go rest today.” Grace said so as to not fill her with doubts and more confusion.

Lola nodded and headed home to rest.
