Robin stood in front of the vent which was letting out a lot of hot air but compared to what he felt when he gets beaten down by Chasm Might this heat wasn’t much.
In his visor, he watched as different monitors as several tiny scout flies flew down through the pipe. These were shockingly strong despite their size and easily flew through the incoming wind.
The secret was a tiny tiny psychic gem at their back with the sole purpose of causing all air resistance to divert around them. There is a limit of course but the simple pressure of an air vent from underground was not sufficient to surpass the limit of this psychic technology.
He just watched until they passed another group of fans. The pipe itself was the main outlet so they connected fans along the sides but only the top had an actual fan to pull the air pumping into it.
After a few minutes they finally came out into a large, very heated room with many heat valves radiating a lot of heat and many large very advanced fans causing a lot of turbulence in the room before it gets pulled up.
The scout flies were too tiny to be picked up but they were able to quickly spot the cameras in the room that worked to make sure nothing snuck in.
There are plenty of people who can sneak through so even if it was unlikely, it was still monitored.
One bug each headed to the cameras and their bodies opened up as they released small wires that connected to any opening they could find and started to hack the camera.
Information was transmitted to Robin until it confirmed he had control.
“Analyze movement patterns and continue scanning the room and film it. Once enough is achieved to seamlessly loop, do so.” He ordered the suit’s inbuilt AI.
It went on for roughly 10 minutes before the bugs began to come in. He also released many more and they already started sneaking into the surrounding areas and scanning for cameras and finding where the group’s men were.
The initial map he had began to light up as many cameras were slowly hacked and their pattern analyzed.
Before he jumped in, the scout flies encountered the camera room.
“Secondary camera room located.” the AI said.
“Good, use the visuals to pinpoint what is already known, use it to find more cameras and then spread more scouts. Make sure they don’t move in groups and when any movement is noticed, all movement should stop. No camera should look at any members beyond the initial look.” He said.
He didn’t know how sensitive these people could be. If some people wanted to be heroes at one point, it wouldn’t be strange if they trained to the point of having trained assassins or people attack them out of nowhere so they could train their sense of danger. This is very dangerous because this sense could even make them think someone was watching and put them on high alert.
The spy flies continued to work until he finally had a clear path to the camera room.
When he got that he finally jumped down.
Saying the heat didn’t affect him was a lie but his heat tolerance was so high that it didn’t change much.
“Is the leg pulse working in this form?” He asked as he fell.
“All normal functions have been deactivated for mobility purposes.” the AI replied.
“Return the legs to normal.” He said.
He felt the pieces disconnect and move around as he returned his legs to normal but it was still not not wider than the vent.
He channeled psychic energy through his legs and a small outlet lit up and he just let himself fall until he came out and hit the ground with a lot of force from the several dozen meter fall but instantly the boots worked and released a pulse that canceled his momentum and didn’t transfer it.
He deactivated the arms and returned himself to normal.
Over the comms Chasm Might talked to Robin.
“Why did you return to normal?”
“It’s too impractical to work with that shape. I can’t use any of my elastic abilities. Just knowing that I can do that is more than enough. Using something I'm not used to is asking for trouble to happen. Also, if I somehow encounter the enemy leader, my support gear would likely be broken before they could return to normal.” He said.
On the other side Chasm Might smiled, “Good, knowing this is a good sign but be careful. Even if the cameras aren’t used, there are still people walking around.” He said.
“Yeah, I know sir. However the pulse also has a stealth function if used properly. In normal cases, I walk with a thunk but after some thought I found that every step could react with the psychic energy making my steps totally silent.” Robin said.
This time, Chasm Might was shocked by his student’s creativity. His smile widened at the fact that he was so open minded on the usage of his support gear. “Make sure to manage your energy output just right. Adding too much will just tire you out before you really need it.” He said.
“Yes sir.” Robin replied.
Chasm Might looked at the other monitors where Silk and Marcus were flying through the city. On their left eye were several monitors. They had specific targets but they were told to react to police radios in case something happened. At the moment Marcus was reacting to an occurrence and was stepping over a rather bulky transformation ability who was struggling to get up but Marcus was stepping on the man’s center of gravity and completely immobilizing him.
The man had tried to steal from an armored vehicle. In fact, both of them were secretly following these armored cars and it paid off.
Soon the police arrived with super restraints and Marcus helped put it and had the man like a pig with his arms and legs behind him and casually tossed him into the back of a van before he burst into the air without a second look.
He didn’t give them a chance to ask anything. Marcus himself didn’t want every petty crime to become news. That said he didn’t move far before he headed to the roofs from above he watched the police transport and followed it.
“Mr Might, you should prepare some FBI in case they attempt to release him by ‘some incident’ where the restraints break. That guy was super weak so it should be impossible to escape.”
BOOM!
Almost as soon as he said it the transport vehicle doors exploded and the criminal burst out.
“You have permission to use lethal force and immobilize him.” Chasm Might said.
Marcus burst down like a missile and didn’t care about property damage anymore.
The criminal only had time to look back before Marcus appeared, transformed, smashing down and burying him into the asphalt, bloody and very injured.
He stomped towards the vehicle and took some new restraints and put it on.
“Sir… be careful.” One of the police said but he just put it on before he turned and suddenly rushed to the police and smashed each of them into the ground.
This caused the surrounding people, who were going to clap, to scream and run to the distance. He even ripped the driver and incapacitated them before piling them all up.
“You are all under arrest for conspiring with a villain and releasing a captured criminal.” he said.
This time he stayed and connected to the FBI.
When local police arrived he told them that if they tried to take the captured men, they would be conspiring as well and would be arrested as well.
A few minutes later, the FBI and Military arrived and unlike the controlled police, the FBI was much higher up.
Marcus showed them the cuffs he had used and the villain, that he knocked out with a single attack, ‘broke’ out.
It was pretty easy to see because the cuffs he used were for strength type strongmen but this guy was barely at the vigilante level. Without being let loose it was impossible for him to get out of the cuffs.
It was more than enough for the agents and military to take the police as well under their custody.
In the distance, the other police were not happy.
What they didn’t know was that Marcus had already used a hidden signal to activate their deactivated cameras and was already filming over a dozen different video feeds from the moment they arrived and he made them back off.
When it was finally set and the FBI left he also took off.
“Mr Might, how is the video feed?” Marcus asked.
“Irritating.” he replied.
Marcus snorted as he continued off towards the assigned zone.
On the other group of screens, Silk was already at his objective zone. He was, similarly, using scout flies to inhibit cameras and other security technology as he snuck into the area of a warehouse.
Other scout flies worked as his eyes and ears as he headed through the building.
When he neared a person that needed to be taken out, he would do as he had trained for almost a year now, the metallic helmet encased head smashed down from behind and instantly knocked the men out and he casually pulled them back into a dark spot.
He did not speak but Chasm Might would still inform him as he and Comet Star worked as helpers.
“Punk, hold. At 9 o’clock, four men are approaching.” Comet star said.
He stopped and backtracked into a hidden spot behind some equipment. Looking through a scout, he saw four men already holding their guns looking around for him.
“Clear!” one of them said as they looked down the area he had been and moved on.
“What happened?” He asked with a whisper.
“They found one of the knocked out men you took out earlier.” Chasm Might said before one of the many small images enlarged, showing several men helping the man. The hit should have likely caused some degree of concussion so he was either heading to a medical center they ran or somewhere else.
He got more careful as he moved through the building until he finally reached an operator room.
He snuck in without anyone noticing before releasing a different type of fly.
These were a type of kamikaze type fly and they slowly moved and on each person’s clothing without them noticing or letting others notice before moving on. Even as they felt the sudden touch, it wasn’t fast enough as every last one burst out with strong electrical bursts instantly shocking all the operators at once.
Silk quickly locked the door before pulling a cabinet in front of the door.
He worked quickly to drag everyone as they were constantly being shocked.
His own equipment and gloves worked to stop the electric currents from going into him because it would be very dangerous. His metallic skeleton and hair conducted electricity very easily but his body was not resistant to electrical discharge. In fact, his entire costume was built with electrical insulation to protect himself and it is one reason he used a full face helmet.
He wrapped everyone and made sure to check if they had anything hidden in a glove or their mouths. They were all wrapped just like Marcus did to completely incapacitate them before he got to work and the scout flies began to hack the system.
BANG!
The door began to tremble and he went over and helped hold it. The hits were very strong and were likely the work of strength type power.
Sadly, Silk was trained alongside several strength types who were much more overbearing than this. He might not have a power that was super strength but he had trained his own physical strength much greater than most.
“Punk, you just need to hold on a little more. We already have a heli heading your way to help extraction. There is a door on the back wall that should lead up to a higher floor.” Comet said.
He looked back and the door was already highlighted in his vision.
He held the door until the download was complete before turning and quickly running away. The scout flies quickly followed and he burst through the door and headed up.
Several bangs later, he heard a huge crash but he was already a few floors ahead of them.
“How far is the heli?” He asked.
“It is an FBI combat chopper about 1 kilometer away. We can’t approach but this distance should be flyable.” Comet said.
Silk said nothing as he rushed up and burst through the locked ceiling door. He didn’t even give time to look before his True Qi gathered and he burst into the air.
When he was there, he saw an arrow pointing and quickly turned and saw the dot with the objective.
When he cleared the air, he could already hear cries and suddenly there was a barrage of bullets and energy shots from any weapon they had.
DING! Ding! Woosh!
He flinched as he was hit with several shots, a few of them hit his legs and arms. Soon he was clear of their bullets as he rose up higher and saw the heli open its door.
The heli was much more advanced than 21st century ones. It was almost like something from a movie with four rotors on the four sides and a wide body.
He rushed to the opening and landed while huffing and collapsed in.
“You’re injured.” A soldier said.
“It’s nothing, let’s just leave.” He said.
“Alright. Move it!” he said as the door closed and the heli left.
They instantly started first aid to remove the bullets that were stuck because they had hit his skeleton.
Others were just stuck to his armor.
“Good job Punk, the information is quite extensive but it shows quite a few names we can work with.” Comet said through the comms.
He just laid there. “Did the other idiots finish up already?” He asked.
“Marcus has reached his objective zone and is in the process of capturing their targets. Robin though…” Chasm Might said.
In the underground, Robin groaned as he looked at a very annoying face. He had, similarly, succeeded in reaching the operation room and hacked the system but when it came to getting out. All it took was stepping out and he was smashed by the biggest threat in this place.
Standing there was the braveman level threat. Several turbo pipes were around his body. A few on his leg for super speed and another few on the back of his elbow to speed up his punch force.
“You little shit, because of you we’ve lost almost 12 years of investment in this place!” He said.
Robin didn’t say anything but his body was already rotating his energies through his body.
“You are still thinking of resisting, I like that. Judging from your size before you went big, you must be some kind of newly grad or maybe even an intern. It is comical that they would send an intern on an infiltration but you did well using the technology you had.” He said as he lowered his body and the pipes began to burst with energy. “You are too slow to even hit me so you had best give up. We are going to work out our anger on your, you fucking rubber punching bag!” He said.
Robin felt annoyed, he hated being called that.
Before the guy could burst, he guarded and his legs started to swell.
Before he could react further, the villain burst forward showing the true speed of what is referred to as a speedstar.
He appeared with his legs already in front of Robin’s face and he could barely react before getting hit and being sent back through the corridor.
While he was in the air his legs pumped and his heart began to pump harder just before he crashed into the wall.
“Urg.” Robin groaned as he pulled himself out of the wall just before the guy appeared to kick him, Robin reacted and ducked quickly causing him to hit air.
“Huh?” the enemy said because he felt Robin had gotten faster but didn’t wait as he kicked him while he was ducked down the next corridor.
What he didn’t see was the second pump happen and Robin was close enough to the wall to hit it and fix his positioning and hit the incoming wall with his feet and help produce the final pump.
Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.
Thump! Thump!
Deep heavy heart beats were audible from him as he dropped down.
When he looked down the corridor, he could already see the guy coming down but he looked like he was moving at normal speed.
His movements were much faster because he was using the pump method and pulled back.
The guy grinned, “Another one.” He said as another pipe formed and he got ready.
Robin, however, wasn’t playing and swung with all he had and his fist flew extremely fast even in his own eyes.
The other guy didn’t have time to react as the fist connected with his face which forced all ten of the gauntlets pressure plates to compress and moments later released a second eruption before he was set flying like a bullet backwards but Robin was not going to let him get the advantage and rushed forward with a shocking burst as his legs decompressed with the same speed he punched with and even that was hard for his eyes to follow but he did see the villain flying away and hit the wall far away and with the recoil from his legs he loaded titan force to his legs and came in as he hit the wall and unloaded the shot so he was hit with the wall impact and both of Robin’s legs smashing into his chest. He didn’t care if he died, a threat at the braveman level had to be dealt with if possible.
Catching him off guard before he could react to incapacitate him was the best time before he could react.
Unsurprisingly, getting hit by the titan force infused dropkick caused him to vomit blood by the immense weight.
Robin spun around in the air as he was sent flying by the recoil but stopped himself while huffing.
“This is for the insult as well as being a threat.” Robin said as he burst forward and without releasing his punch he punched the man and as soon as he impacted, his fist began to rapidly spin.
“BURN OUT!” he roared as he held himself as his fist ripped through the guy until it was done.
What was left was a bloody hallway.
“Robin, I know that he is a threat but you have to get out before they activate the lockdown. If they do then only I can get you out by force!” Chasm Might said.
“Fine, help me find the way.” Robin said while huffing and calming down his body. He didn’t even look back before rushing down the corridors until he reached the second opening into the railway. When he passed, suddenly he heard alarms behind him and many doors shutting down including the door he had just passed and locked with super magnets.
“That was lucky.” Robin said.
“Actually, that was us activating the lockdown once you were out. We hacked into their system so we also took control. With this we can effectively capture everyone. We are now in the process of closing the passage you are in and diverting it under the FBI. That said, after this everyone will notice that the FBI is moving more actively since few heroes actually call on them.” Comet said.
“That’s fine, just tell me when I can safely get out of here.” he said and sat down in the little space between the door and the open rails.
He had to channel his energies to calm down the still heavy pumping of his heart before he channeled titan force to absorb the heat from all the attacks he took and start the healing process.
After about twenty minutes he got the okay and when he reached the intersection of the rails, he found it closed off by the FBI. He informed them of the exact distance and a large team started to move and from a maintenance shaft, they transported him out from the underground where he took a nice deep breath.
“That was a close shave. Good job dealing with a Braveman.” Chasm Might said.
“I was lucky that the first attack caught him by surprise. If it didn’t then I would have been overwhelmed if he could activate faster speeds.” Robin said.
“Don’t underestimate yourself, he might have been barely 40% of his top speed but to move at superspeeds, they need a body that is stronger than their top speeds or anything they run into can ruin them. Are you alright with killing him though?” he asked.
Robin breathed in and looked at the bloody fist still coated in blood. He suddenly felt his stomach lurch. “Urg… I'm… fine but I think I need to rest for the day.” He said.
“Alright, head back in. I'll inform one of the men to get you water and something for your stomach. You can come back but take a longer route until you know you aren’t being watched.” He said.
“Alright.” Robin replied.
He waited a bit and besides the water and medicine to help his stomach, the FBI got some things to wash the blood off his arm.
When he was mostly clean he left by springing into the air before using telekinesis to fly and just used the buildings as grips to speed up as he flew higher while avoiding air traffic until he was clear of it from above.
He took his time in silence as he flew around before he landed at Star Tech HQ and jumped down.
There was a loyal servant waiting and they guided him down to the secret base floors and found the others already back and there were quite a few people working in a large operations room going through the information.
“How is it?” Chasm Might asked when he saw him enter.
“Fine, I'm over the killing already.” he said.
“You don’t need to lie, I know you are telling yourself that it was vital to get rid of a serious threat but you don’t need to force yourself.” he said and held him on his shoulders.
Robin breathed deeply and shook his head, “When you told us that we would be working on corruption cleaning I already knew we would be involved in Beauro of Execution work. You trusted me with the possibility of enhanced growth by taking me as a disciple and I can’t complain about something as simple as killing.” He said.
“No…” Chasm Might said and stopped him right there. “Not caring about killing is wrong. You should care, definitely. Unlike me, you have a very high level of control over your own body. You just need training to control the recoil to the intensity you want but you can control how hard you hit. The members of the executive branch are people who hit and attack with 100% at all times and cause immense damage with only a few attacks. Remember this, the way a Hero acts isn’t determined by a single person. Each one is their own person, their own morals and more but the thing is that no one hero doesn’t think about the consequences of indiscriminate killing. Could you imagine if all the people in heroics were to just start killing anyone that did crimes? You should, definitely, care about going to the point of killing because for someone who has so much control it means that you can’t stop them otherwise and it means you need to train to be able to stop them without killing.” He explained.
Robin breathed in, trembling a bit, and Chasm Might shook him and patted his head a bit. “It’s fine if the feeling is overwhelming and even disgusting. You had to do what you did to survive and there is nothing wrong with that. Your action likely saved thousands or more from that person.” Chasm Might consoled and Robin nodded.
He walked over to continue analyzing and left Robin to sit down and take the hand and head equipment off and just hang his head as he worked the feeling off.
The other two watched from a distance. Different from normal, they didn’t try to irritate each other for the time being. Eventually robin went to the restroom and washed his face and came out feeling better.
“So did we learn anything?” He asked.
“Well… the structure of the collapsed criminal organization as well as the invading ones have started to appear more obvious.” Comet star said.
“How so?” Robin asked.
“Rivals always watch each other so they have archives of the invading organization. It also seems the collapsed crime organization is split among many different people who are also trying to take the lead. It seems the unity in the political sphere is also as nonexistent as the criminals. This was just the first day but tomorrow will be the day Techno hacks the money out of the entire system and we will see how everything goes.” Comet star said.
“Tomorrow you three will be on the streets. Marcus, you will continue doing as you did, follow the transports and capture any police alongside them. If crime explodes so rapidly we can move in the FBI and the full military for a military intervention and remove the local police’s powers of jurisdiction for federal control. If that happens, it is also required for a Hero to officially be present, I will be in the open after that and we will start moving extensively to clear hideouts, workshops and more.” Chasm Might said.
“Did anything we obtain have mention of police and political figures?” Silk asked.
“A few mentions, especially bribery and ‘taxes’ as they call it. From this we will start silent investigations that you children don’t need to worry about.” Comet explained.
“As he said, things involving investigation are usually tech teams or people with powers particular to this field.” Chasm Might said.
“What do we do now then?” Marcus asked.
“For the time being you kids should rest. Each of you were involved in quite big raids this time and although you are hiding it, each of you took either physical or mental damage. Resting is important so don’t worry, there are still a lot of Strong men that are on our side even if we are pretty outnumbered.” He said.
“Speaking of them, how are we going to deal with them when the time comes?” Robin asked.
“By that time, we will have my bureau in full action. The members are already slowly gathering silently. It is the benefit of being the bureau of nomads. It is hard to monitor everyone.” He said.
The three boys nodded and after a while they were told they could return to the bus or stick around to follow up.
“It is still early, barely even lunch time so we should stick around.” Marcus said.
“I’ll head back to the bus.” Robin said.
“Why?” Silk asked.
“I just need some rest.” He said.
Chasm Might nodded and one of Comet’s butlers helped him up to the top and he headed off and reached the bus several minutes later.
He took off the dirty clothing. The Bus driver was there just drinking when he arrived.
“Hello, did you already get off work?” He asked.
“Yes, Mr Might relieved me for the day. Is there any place for cleaning clothing?” he asked.
“Sure, the back of the first floor has washing machines for hero clothing.” He said and showed them.
Robin nodded and began to take off the gloves and revealed the stained interior.
When the driver saw that, he realized why robin was relieved and just let him be. He helped him out of the suit and put it to wash and put a specific setting for blood. For the gauntlets, there was also something for that because Techno built the bus as well so there was naturally tech for cleaning and maintenance of the gauntlets and boots.
He put them there and got dressed in normal clothing.
“Would you like some food?” the driver asked.
“Yeah.” Robin said.
Like that he just rested the rest of the day so he could organize his thoughts and mind about what had happened and what he had heard.

Standing beside Mephesto, Luna was in Hell and her demons were in the process of an immense slaughter while ripping life force from countless imps. Even if these were weaker lesser demons, they were much stronger since they had sin and element active.
They swallowed life force like starved beggars until they were almost stuffed and slowly incorporated it into their beings before the life force would return to the demon egg in Luna’s hands.
The energy within was getting stronger and stronger as the strength of the lesser demons were starting to approach the lower benchmark required for them.
As for the training that Mephesto had Luna do, naturally it was sustaining all these demons summoned in hell. At the same time, she was sitting while processing a lot of life force she personally had absorbed from demons.
She lost a lot of energy because it was a demon life force and converting it into human life force caused a lot of loss. It was, ironically, the opposite for demons who gained a lot of life force from human life force. The difference is that there was an unlimited supply of imps.
As she finished assimilating the last bit she had absorbed she opened her eyes and asked him, “Should we not be doing heroics?” she asked.
“It is of greater value to your survival that you complete your primary demon’s transformation. Not every member of your little group is fighting, the internship allowed us heroes to aid you in uninterrupted training which other students would occupy the time for.” He said.
“Is there a reason you came as well if it was just to watch me hunt imps?” she asked.
“Because you aren’t going to just absorb them. It is efficient for you to do that, instead you will start off like this until your lesser demons are finally stable and then with your greater demons you will hunt other greater demons for their life essence. You will learn to fight people of your own essence quality but your quantity needs to match at least half a strong greater demon’s to succeed.” he said.
“I’m barely 1/100 of my main demon, how am I going to fill the gap even if I do have Life essence.” She said.
“That is why I said you need at least the basic lower standard for lesser demons.” Mephesto said.
“I don’t get why you are so focused on hatching Lily.” Lola said.
“Because it is vital to give the demon bone fragment in my body to a proper demon god to remove the only object that ‘he’ could use to break the seal on his power. If he used it as an external focus, he could eventually break out.” He said.
“What! That means losing your strongest power?!” She said.
“The demon bonded to me is completely without an ego. It is permanently bonded with my body and soul making me a half demon. What I get out of this is the possible discovery of what it takes to become an Archdemon permitting me power beyond what I have now. At the very least he will not be able to reach it here if I end up dying.” he explained.
“You’re talking as if you will die soon.” Lola said as she transformed and started to attack the demons.
Mephisto looked at her before feeling the stone in his chest with a frown. His body now had all three flows and this has allowed his veins to transfer power from the fragment even more through his body but he has felt uncertain and that it was possibly the limit that he could hold this. The reaction didn’t exist until he came in contact with the egg but now it was feeling uncomfortable to hold it like it was a burning rock in his heart.
“Teens… it feels like I'm dealing with my daughter all over again.” He muttered under his breath. Sadly, she was incapable of entering because there is a likely chance that she might have a reaction like how heavenly gods have in hell.
He had to force her to complete the egg even if he had to help pin the demons for her to extract their power. He had also never had a chance to enter this realm before. He didn’t show but the sin and element of this realm was already infusing into his sealed demon and was strengthening him where he previously never had this power. Even so, he felt this was what accelerated the strange state of the bone and now it felt like it was trying to get out.
“I hope it can support the fragment.” He muttered as he watched the girl who had closed her heart to rip life force from these mindless imps to continue growing.

Back in Richmond, unlike the others, Kevin and the others were working hard with their combined system active but like the first time, they grit their teeth because they were close to the end of building the complete level 3 and would finally be able to expand it with all the other parts.
They continued, of course, unlike Kevin at the start, the others were much stronger because they had access to the system while they waited for their clearance level to be reached.
They were sweating heavily but as they last little link formed, the flow formed and suddenly the three levels of the began to channel energy and it feedback to the six of them and the three layered game system suddenly vanished and shut off after it completed but the three from the third level were glowing as their markings were changing and the lines slowly vanished and left only the single ring on their head that was the power entrance.
“Finally!” The six cried out together.
Admin was waiting and watching in case something happened and nodded with a smile. “Good, the next level is open. Can you feel the changes that took place?” He asked.
“It is a lot of energy but we still need to gather a lot of parts for all the systems.” Kevin said.
“How advanced?” Admin asked.
“Well…” Kevin muttered and looked at the others.
One of the third level replied, “Level 1 and 2 can be called a framework but the next level is more complex software. The effect will be much more complex and from the knowledge that we inherently learned, it will enhance the effect of the system parts from those possessing level 1 and 2 fragments.” He explained.
“Enhance? How?” Admin asked.
“The easiest to explain is the power pieces. Level 1 pieces didn’t release more power when level 2 clearance was achieved but when level 3 is properly infused, level 1 and 2 will gather and release world power equal to level 3 clearance while higher clearance pieces will release equal to level 3.” Kevin said.
“So that is why the number of pieces is still normal despite the increase per level.” Admin said. “Kids, please start building it, the more advanced the system gets, the better result we can produce for strengthening the world to prepare against enemies.” He said.
The children nodded and together, everyone formed their system and gathered it into a single orb. Those with higher level clearance updated their orbs at this point before the orb grew far. It easily passed the Richmond size border and eventually reached state size but this was still the inefficient size.
The eyes of all the children lightly shined as they began to receive information and got up.
“Are there sufficient pieces around here?” Admin asked.
He had worked hard over the last year to gather foreign gamers world wide Richmond has basically become a center for gamer powers. Admin server even found abilities that weren’t thought to be gamer based and it was by expanding his field or taking any of the other children to a city and searching for them.
It was in the hundred thousands already.
“There are.” they said together. In this state, it was like they had interfaced with a higher being and their minds worked together speaking for her.
It was somewhat unnerving but there was no one who could do this better.
The 15 children left and they headed all over the place gathering all the pieces that had appeared. Of course, it was all a single system at a time and the first one was space stability. When it was gathered, they built it on the spot and released it. The result was that the space became stable and could expand to full size.
They froze as it happened and it kept growing and growing and even their faces showed their individual shock.
“Has it expanded fully?” Admin server asked.
“Yes.” Kevin replied. “The expansion used our mental map of the American Union… it is currently in the exact shape of the region we live in.” Kevin said.
“R… region!” Admin server said in shock.
“Yes sir.” One of the twins replied, “The entire region is covered but we have kept the system from displaying for every person. Only people who have interfaced with it before and only if they are not in any dangerous situations.”
“How long can you hold it presently?” Admin asked.
“We will know once we have completed all the systems.” They said together and split up and headed to the area with power pieces and gathered the next group.
When they built the piece, it was released and as it covered everyone, the level 3 pieces began to have their armor come off and release the waves of world power while the previous levels began to feel their powers start to grow more intense.
Many of them came extremely worried only to find more of their people venting.
“Don’t worry, level 3 clearance has been achieved and it’s causing you all to produce more energy but it won’t cause any damages, all that excess is released just like it has been doing until now.” Admin server said, calming everyone down.
System by system they headed through and each piece would radically improve. The most anticipated was the trait shop and the scanner.
The growth did not disappoint because both systems became several times more efficient and for the trait shop, it could now add four traits at the same time meaning people would waste far less time and money.
It took a full day for them to finish up and when the final piece was released, they all came back to normal and blinked confused before feeling the system.
“Wow, the system is so much better, it isn’t so chunky anymore and the energy flow in my body feels so smooth.” Kevin said as he felt all the natural energies in his body.
“How long can you hold it?” Admin server asked.
The 15 looked at him and almost as one they asked.
“It says it can stay continuously for upwards of 3 years. Wow, the energy efficiency programs really skyrocketed. All the level 1 and 2 pieces are working at level 3 standards and the power pieces as well!” Kevin said.
“How good are the scanners running?” Admin server asked.
“Really well sir, they are already scanning the entire region. I'm sure it will take a while though.” one of the others said.
“Order the system to focus on the strongest members from Hero rank and work its way down. Those at the top usually have very stable powers and traits so having everything decoded will improve the scanning of later ones.” He said.
“Alright.” they said and soon Admin Server surprisingly found himself being scanned again but it was like reconfirmation before it moved on.
He was very curious but he still didn’t know the reaction of his power.
“Kevin, does any of your innate knowledge say what happens to admins if it connects?” He asked.
“They just gain management control on game master level but never higher. I can’t wait to test the quest system. It is now running semi autonomous and can start giving daily missions for civilians.” Kevin said.
“Prohibit. We need a full status check of the entire clearance so we know what we are working with.” He said.
They nodded and fixed the options so the system does not randomly affect everyone.
That said the system was now reaching even beyond New york. At the order, all the Hero rank people felt the energy of the scan appear. Chasm Might was no different and instantly recognized the feeling.
He was meditating with Robin outside in the morning when he felt it and instantly opened his eyes.
“Seems Kevin has achieved level 3 clearance.” He said.
A moment later Robin opened his eyes and checked before nodding. “Yeah, the system is active already and I can call up my status. It’s scanning me and much more in depth than before.” He said.
After a while, they both felt the scan stop but the others had woken up due to the feeling. They were as sensitive to the feeling after having felt it so much.
All over the region those who were already scanned or those at hero or braveman rank were being scanned and very fast. They felt something was happening and had no control. The data bank of the system exploded as they identified thousands of brave men and all the traits that built them up.
There were complete packs or small segmented pieces. Furthermore, the prices had drastically decreased because of the energy efficiency upgrades.
This was the true start to the next bloom of powers.
After an hour, the last of the bravemen were scanned and strongmen in the region started to feel it. It continued throughout the morning until the last members, the disability level, was reached and they were oblivious but their bodies were scanned and already the system was pulling from the immense archive that had formed from several hundred million people found a wide list of traits required to completely stabilize every ability.
The least required but most surprising was that every last human had the suggestion for the triple meridian system. Even more, this trait was perfected even more greatly and without them noticing, the people already with this had the update to the purchased train infused into their bodies and would take effect the next time they infused the sufficient stat point.
“Hey, can’t we use the system to help with illegal activity now?” Marcus asked.
They were already at Star Tech HQ but when he said that, everyone froze and looked at him while they had gathered information.
“Uh… is that possible?” Comet asked.
Chasm Might smiled weakly and looked at Robin. He nodded and began to explain how the system’s quest and alignment systems worked and how the system worked off data it gathered.
“Really! Then please have it scan all of our gathered data and use it to confirm the actual actions by monitoring all people that are under investigation!” he explained.
Robin smiled before taking a moment to call Kevin to confirm that he had control rights to use the system that had spread up this way. After getting the confirmation he set the system to work to improve their ability to gather information. Outside of that, the three headed off to patrol the streets and wait for the system to complete the scans and orders, set out and update the bounty list of New York.
