“Ah, such a good warm up after not being able to move for so long.” Tempest said while he seemed to float in the air as if he was in water yet his feet had some kind of purchase and he could stretch.
As for the others, there was already some injury and damage visible. Especially on Chasm Might who could fight with the greatest power fist to fist even if True Qi could launch from his body.
The man who was in his mid 50s looked wrinkled and grey hair already but his body was still as hard as it was.
“I’m impressed, you’re doing far better compared to your first beating I gave you.” He said taunting Chasm Might.
Mephesto was to the side but unlike their first fight and even any time before, his body was inside the giant avatar and he was exerting 100% control as if it was his body.
Server Admin however was the opposite, the man who was in his 30s looked like a young teen but that didn’t diminish his power because he possessed many gamer skills and broke part of the ‘hex’ that the skill had on his physical power.
“What the hell is with this guy's ability? How is he even flying.” Admin said.
Chasm Might looked at him with narrowed eyes, “He explained it to me, his power, the first time we fought and I had almost been dead.” He said.
Time Tempest grinned as he heard the comment, “I’m happy you still remember, although it seems your body has been restored to forget the damage I caused it.” He said.
“What is the source of his strength?” Techno asked.
“He is purely a physical fighter, he doesn’t need any energy, any source of power, his body is just powerful. The source of this is his time control, the source of this power isn’t in his body or directly some kind of psychic ability, his body is literally connected to and inside the River of Time as he called it. The tempest of time is what forced his body to be so powerful and the stronger his body the more time alteration he can achieve.” Chasm Might said.
“What!” Admin Server said looking at Chasm Might.
“That’s right, I don’t even need to keep it a secret. My body stands between the dimension of reality and the realm of time itself. I swim through time so that means I can move freely through any space as if gravity did not exist. At the same time, touching any mortal body allows me to bring them momentarily into the effect of the river. However, which effect depends which river I put you in. The River going forward, or the river going back.” He said and looked at Techno, “You were smart to bring the boy that is playing around with the toys and you, Mephesto, despite only now truly fixing your avatar, you’ve learned a good little trick.” Tempest said.
“Your plans are going to fail.” Chasm Might said.
“My plans… I have no plans. All I wanted was to use this system to heal me. The plan is from those fools who want your disciples dead.” He said before grinning, “And I want you all dead!”
Suddenly he vanished and appeared behind Chasm Might and hammer smashed him down and sent him down while at the same time Mephesto instantly moved and three giant swords exploded forward and slammed into him exploding as he punched back and blocked.
Chasm Might felt the effect of time acceleration on his back and he groaned as his body smashed down in the middle of war below.
Everyone stopped before he stood and swung his arm and he instantly looked around, “What! What are you kids doing here!” He shouted.
“Mr Might! We were teleported here when the villains momentarily distracted Esper and Sir Vincent!” one of the students shouted.
Before he could react, suddenly several thick tentacles rushed out and caught both of Chasm Might’s arms and he looked and found a grinning man who was aged down to his late 20s.
“Got him!” the man shouted.
Suddenly several men morphed their bodies and formed weapons and shot bullets and bombs.
Chasm Might scowled and his body suddenly turned into a blur for a moment.
The bullets vanished and the bombs and attacks they shot out passed through him.
“Huh!” the tentacle man exclaimed, “How!” He explained.
“Don’t think you can hold down a hero so easily.” He said and casually tossed up a handful of bullets and holding one in his hand, he flicked it three times faster than what it was fired and it instantly passed through the guy's head leaving a hole through it.
“You gunmen are too dangerous.” He said and his hands moved and all the bullets were fired back right through each of their heads before any of them could react.
After a moment the tentacles fell from his body and the men all fell. “Everyone listens well, this is an order, not a single villain walks out alive. Using my authority as head of the execution bureau, you are authorized to use lethal force to prevent these enhanced villains from escaping. Remember that any single one can cause hundreds of deaths! Keep that in mind, if you let them leave, tomorrow they might come for your families and many others.” he said and looked up and exploded up into the air.
The area was quiet before a growl came from the transformers.
Suddenly Marcus turned to the giant he was fighting and standing over and put his weight on his leg as it crashed down towards the head.
“WAKE UP! THIS ISN’T A PICNIC!” he roared and with his weight on the head, he savagely kicked the upper chest while everyone was distracted and everyone heard the distinct crack as the neck snapped! “ATTACK WITHOUT MERCY!” he roared.
Instantly the Kong clan around him roared and rushed.
“Kill these fucking brats!” One of the villains shouted.
To the side, Robin and his friends were in a group.
“What do we do?!” Lola said.
“This isn’t a normal situation where incapacitation is the rule. There are three villains for each of us, we are all 1st year high schoolers. Attack to kill.” Robin said.
On her shoulder Lily looked at her master and began to whisper and Lola made a face of shock. “This is one of the methods demons use to rapidly grow. Your merged condition allows you all the imp’s abilities and I’ve read that Mephesto has done this to the most dangerous villains he has faced to make sure they are dead.” She said.
Her face turned into a scowl but nodded, “If it’s to grow quickly, we can do it.” She said and despite the imp acting up because she had fixed the essence distribution and fully grew out her wings her claws lengthened into points and were covered in a bit of life essence and burst forward.
To the side, Shoji held his sword as he looked at the people coming and gathering and saw a dangerous individual with black emotions while feeling psychic energy gathering.
His body lightly levitated and the wind around him began to flow before he tapped the ground and burst forward. He nimbly dodged larger and slower enemies as he approached and that black hearted person that looked at the world with dead eyes turned to him and formed a psychic barrier and remembering how Esper did the cut, he changed the flow in his sword as best he could and swung.

The air cracked as the invisible barrier formed a long line which released cracks outward.
The cold eyes of the man narrowed and the colors of faint curiosity appeared in his shadow but like himself, the shadow was no different.
“You’re dangerous.” He said.
He just smiled condescendingly but the shadow did not and spoke, “The world does not need humanity it should all be destroyed.” it said.
“As i thought, he has lost all emotion and this is pure wrath and apathy.” he thought and thought that this was a perfect opportunity to test himself and try something new.
He jumped away as a large villain rushed at him from the side but suddenly from behind a nearly invisible punch came from the back through all the people and slammed the man’s face and sent the man flying towards the psychic who just waved his hand and sent the incoming ally flying into a building.
Shoji looked back and found Robin from over 50 meters acting as support with his super speed punch.
Kevin was rushing over, jumping over some men and stopped behind Shoji, “I’ll back you up. Robin is going to watch out for Lola who is trying something strange.” He said.
At the back, Scar was already back and Milo was focusing hard and he was defended by the kong clan keeping everyone away as he focused hard until he finally opened his eyes and the crystal on his staff began to shine and he struck it down and the space behind him began to warp and portals opened and the sound of horse neigh sounded and suddenly from the portals, skeleton mounted warrior skeletons rushed out with Bargo.
Bargo was fully armored but these were still missing parts like the upper part of the arm and legs and shoulder guards. Their helmets were also smaller and they had weaker chestplate.
That didn’t mean they were weak however, each was sentient and each had trained intensely the art of the sword for month's already. In return for their growth and Milo’s train, it became possible to summon forth and maintain control of a full 40 warriors on horses.
“You are authorized to kill all criminals.” Milo said while focusing and looked at the Kong group.
“We will keep them away.” One of them shouted.
Milo didn’t reply as he sat down and hitting his staff down, suddenly giant bones began to form around him before forming a defensive structure and inside he closed his eyes and used a new ability he had learned, though very taxing and making him unable to move, allowed him to see and give mental orders to his undead.
In another area, Robin shot after Lola as she rushed through them and she clawed at several but they dodged or blocked while Robin defended.
“What are you trying to do?!” Robin shouted.
“Punch one of these guys to near unconsciousness towards me!” She shouted.
Robin groaned as his legs rapidly twisted and he shot into the crowd and nimbly getting behind one of them with his arm spun and armed he burst towards one guy who had a metal jaw and horns.
“Black breaker!” Robin shouted and buried his fist into the man’s side. His body was radiating titan force and after he punched it, the spring unloaded like a gun going off and instantly he was sent like a rag doll losing consciousness towards Lola.
“Don’t weaken your efforts, this is for the future.” Lily said and Lola hardened herself as her body suddenly strengthened with the power of Life essence flowing through her and even with the crazy speed the guy was coming and spinning at her she swung her wings and crashed into him and everyone saw a morbid sight as she buried her clawed hand into his chest and pulled his heart out.
Lola tried to shut off but Lily called her, “Now!” She said.
Lola held her food in her stomach and pulled but at the same time, her life essence was like an invasive force.
The man was still alive and looked down as he saw his chest impaled and suddenly a burning spread out and he roared as his body rapidly dried up and all the blood attached to her arm evaporated and in the end she just pulled out a small orb of life force.
Lily didn’t wait as she sucked in and pulled all that life force in and began to blend it with Lola’s own life essence processing it.
She finally couldn’t handle it and vomited leaving herself open.
Robin appeared just as a friend of the killed man roared at her like he had seen someone from his family killed.
“Get away!” Robin said, appearing behind him and burying his feet into his face and spring launching it into the ground. The ground around it cracked because Robin had used titan force and directly killed him before running to Lola.
“Are you fine!” He said.
“Don’t worry, not everyone is determined and strong-willed enough to gather their emotions and kill so easily. Especially what she did.” Lily said.
“What did you do?” Robin said but suddenly turned fully hardened and met a punch from a humanoid rhino causing the ground to shake.
“This isn’t the time!” Lily shouted “Lola!” she shouted.
“I’m fine.” she said but her bags were deeper and she clearly didn’t feel good. “I need to learn to do this or I might endanger people I care for.” She said and stabbed her arm into the one that Robin killed and life force that was leaking began to appear and gather up and his body mummified and Lily looked and sighed before sucking it up.
“Is the conversion rate just like rats?” She asked.
“Of course not.” Lily said, “Each of these people should produce roughly 1% of your total life essence after their impurities were worked through and I've compressed it into your Life essence.” Lily said.
“Robin.” she said.

She looked and saw him gritting his teeth while hands locked with the giant humanoid rhino.
She gathered herself and spread her wings and rushed from the side and suddenly rose up closing her heart she clawed at his eyes making him roar and swing at her letting Robin go.
He pulled back and unleashed a fully bodied punch.
“Titan smash!” he shouted and buried his fist into the rhino’s gut but his feet were firm on the ground but he instantly started to vomit blood.
Robin jumped up and uppercut him before grabbing the horn and pulling himself down and pulling it over his back, smashing it down.
“Fucking… brat!” he roared as he pushed himself up.

The sound of chains suddenly came out of nowhere and from above a massive two meter wide silver ball came crashing down onto the head of the rhino instantly splattering blood.
Moments later the ball shrank down and pulled back only to be swung right into the head of another much thinner and weaker person with immense force.
Lilian looked at them from over 20 meters, “Don’t waste time!” She shouted and pulled her chain back and began to spin her chain balls like crazy and before any of them connected they would grow massive.
Those that had the capacity to catch, which had yet to happen, were in for a surprise.
When Robin looked back, Lola was fighting the immense vitality of the rhino and pulled out a ball the size of her head.
“People with powerful bodies have a powerful life force.” She said disgruntled.
Lily didn’t speak and just absorbed it and held onto her master as she worked on the life force continuously.
“My punches aren’t going to kill anyone by finding a solid surface to connect the other side with. We should work with the Kongs who are more savage.” He said.
“Lets go.” She said but as they moved, Robin felt something and looked to the east and quickly rushed after her and as they reached the battle field full of apes and villains Robin burst forward to the enemies that Marcus was fighting and smashed or threw some.
“Get your own fight zone!” He roared.
“Give me a lift!” Robin shouted and pointed up.
He looked before raising his arm and raising two fingers. His arm flexed while Robin wound his arms and gripped each finger with a hand.
“Watch out for Lola!”
“You watch yourself, fucking idiot!” Marcus cursed at him before he shot up like a rubber band.
In the sky, Chasm Might came up like a bullet and instantly got in the middle of Server Admin and Tempest’s fight, instantly putting pressure while Techno opened dozens of laser weapons and fired.

Time Tempest laughed as he fought, “My my chasm, to think you would make children and inexperienced strongmen fight with intent to kill. That is quite impressive, a hero like you forcing children to cover their hands in blood!” he said.
“There are no crime fighters who do not have blood on their hands, those who can’t be saved and those who had to be put down must be put down.” He replied.
At that moment, the one first one to be knocked back, Blue Phoenix suddenly appeared behind Time Tempest and gripped him with hands transformed into talons. “Hope you didn’t forget me.” He said.
“The blue fire chicken, I’m amazed, I’m pretty sure I sent enough time distortion to make you into an egg.” He said.
He grinned and his body exploded in blue flames as the sound of a kreening bird filled the air and the blue flames burst out over all the heroes.
It didn’t hurt any of them but Server admin and Chasm Might saw, amazingly, their bodies release a dark mist as their bodies reverted back to their original age and when it stopped, even Time Tempest had changed from a young adult into someone in his mid 60s with grey hair.
The heroes remained with flames on their bodies, particularly the wounds, slowly healing them.
“Let’s see how long your power can affect them when under the protection of my sacred blue flames.” He said in the form of a giant blue phoenix.
“I see, immortal flames, but don’t think we don’t know. Your flames aren’t omnipotent, they still rely on your stamina and all effects on others drain their energies to achieve the effects. You effectively are going to drain them of their energy.” He said laughing and gripped his legs, “Let’s see how long you can handle the pain of having your body crushed!” He said and with a twist the legs suddenly broke but he was completely unaffected while his flames erupted and gathered.
“Non-burning flames don’t mean they can’t hurt you!” He shouted from within and the torrent of flame surged and smashed into him, suddenly exploding and releasing heat and shockwaves to the point that even the heroes could feel pain against their skins.
He was shot down but stopped soon after.
“DING! Warning! High speed incoming object picked up on radar!” Techno’s inbuilt AI helper said and it announced that.
Everyone looked around and Chasm Might and Server Admin turned pale. “Robin!” He shouted.
Far off, roughly 1 km away, Robin has his arm wrapped around his body and was in the process of spinning the Atlas stone like a pinwheel before letting it go causing it to rush up while shooting an arm to catch it and ride the momentum with his control.
“What is that crazy fool doing! This isn’t his place!” Chasm Might shouted.
That said, he was rising extremely fast and Time Tempest grinned.
Chasm Might noticed and instantly exploded towards him and smashed right into him, “Don’t you dare get near him!” He roared.
“Oh my, to think you treat him so well.” He laughed and the two restarted their battle.
At that moment, Mephesto suddenly shined and his avatar became transparent but the body within was glowing brightly and spread out his body that was curled. The form and power of the avatar rapidly gathered and was absorbed into his body but not the Demon god’s bone. It infused into his very muscles and his body grew to twice human size but remained with two arms but with the immense power of the avatar gathered into his body with his speed.
His large wings spread and the six massive swords connected into two groups and he gripped both ends making them shine and what formed were two blood red swords and his body radiating murder and destruction.
“So this is what you were after. Interesting.” Time Tempest said seeing Mephesto take on a new form, that said, looking from below, he grinned looking beyond as Robin had risen far above them but the rock had stopped.
On the rock, he looked down at the nearly invisible battle of speed, as his master, Server admin and Blue phoenix circled and he just took it all.
“You shouldn’t be up here, I could help down below and help charge you up!” Mr Atlas said.
“No, even Mr Might couldn’t lift you up after your second merger. This villain is cocky and arrogant, he is likely to get in the way just to joke about it. Even if he stops you, Mr Might confirmed that your stones are physically already hard enough to handle his strong punch and your titan force is enough to dampen the rest of the force. He might be stronger than Mr Might but he will definitely only be able to stop you when he hits the ground.” Robin said.
“You’re a fool. This will make him go after you!” Mr Atlas said.
“None of them will let him and it is definitely going to injure him. If it doesn’t, the least it can do is make a massive opening for super attacks. This is especially true for Techno who has built several satellite beam weapons.” Robin said and stretched his arm and wrapped it around his body before putting it around the rock.
“Don’t cry when problems arise.” he said and Robin jumped and began to spin the rock as fast as possible but he was looking down.
Instantly Techno’s alarms began to shout.
“Warning! Massive object with dangerously lethal levels of mass incoming!”
Mephesto and Techno looked up and saw Robin spinning the ball rock.
“What is that rock?” Techno asked.
“Physical and spiritual analysis matches planetary nucleus signals.” the AI replied.
“No wonder the kid came up here. Begin superbeam mode, move away from the trajectory.” He said.
Instantly Techno turned and rushed away while his mech began to change form.
Mephesto was near and heard the AI and looked up and grinned before rushing down.
“The kid is doing something!” He said as he made way but made sure Tempest saw and all of them split and saw Robin launching the rock.
“Ahahaha! This is adorable! He actually thinks something made by a child can injure me!” he laughed.
However, Chasm Might and Server Admin instantly turned pale, “Run!” Might shouted and didn’t hold back as he cleared the path.
Time Tempest grinned as if he thought they were bluffing and looked at the incoming rock, “I’m going to teach this ‘infant’ not to mess in the adult’s world.” he said as he put himself into a position to gather his strength and stood right in its path.
By this point, the rock had begun to speed up and burn from friction while mixing in was Titan force that was gathering from the top side towards the bottom like a wave constantly increasing the weight until it reached its peak just as Time Tempest punched.
When his fist connected to the rock, a shockwave that could only be compared to a nuclear blast spread from the impact point and instantly the bone dragon dove over the entire battle field and released a powerful energy which deflected the massive wave.
That didn’t save the buildings though. Everyone looked up in shock and saw the rock and everyone thought it was going to blow up as it stopped but the next second the most shocking thing happened as it continued pushing. The flames were instantly snuffed and now it was glowing with an intense white light particularly the bottom side while wave by wave it fought the upward force while pushing downwards.
Kevin was below and looked, “System, deactivate all unneeded systems and transfer all world power to the world core!” Kevin said.
Instantly the gamer space almost completely became like what it once was when he had it inactive and suddenly the huge source of world power from the power pieces rushed into the air and into the stone making the white glow spread evenly and with this the speed of the rock accelerated once more towards the ground.
“This… FUCKING… BRAT!” Time Tempest roared as his veins began to burst from the immense crushing force from above. His body was almost pulling towards the rock and he tried to straighten up and when he finally did, he was already halfway to the ground and finally forced his body to touch the River of time more intensely to achieve the firmest ground but there is a curiosity about time.
Time, Space and Gravity are extremely curious things, there is a theory that the higher a force of gravity, the weaker space and the faster time runs.
What was currently being powered to nearly full capacity was called a world core by a system run by the mind of what can be assumed to be the personification of a world itself.
So much power had caused it to form its own gravity well and it affected time around it causing Tempest’s power to be more unstable than he wanted and despite lowering the speed, everyone, hero, crime fighter, villain and any civilian that couldn’t escape, they watched as a white glowing meteor brought down it’s full weight on tempest and touched down right in the middle of the academy and everyone who knew of the rock, but didn’t really understand just how heavy it was, learned to fear the maximum weight of this seemingly normal rock.
As soon as Tempest touched down, the ground did not even withstand a moment as a second explosion as strong as the first erupted and like a meteor of several kilometers wide crashing, instantly everything within its surroundings collapsed and was thrown away. Chasm and Admin moved quickly to catch the students that could not fly while those who could had to work hard to use the wave, no matter how painful, to run away but they looked back to the sight of a man being under this and understood exactly how dangerous of an enemy they had that day.
All the way up in the air, Robin was freefalling when Techno got under him and caught him and they both watched the destruction.
Robin held his hand down constantly even when he was falling.
“Are you forcing it down?!” Techno asked.
“It responds to my will and for this, I need to constantly put pressure or it will stop ‘falling’.” Robin said.
His heart was beating like he had activated his high pressure and his life force was pumping hard to maintain this.
Techno was in the process of transforming while Mephesto appeared, “How long?” he asked.
“I need about 1 minute to rearrange the entire structure.” He said.
“The momentum is going to end before that. I will only be able to maintain the weight after that!” Robin said.
“Chasm.” Mephesto said.
“Got it!” He said, appearing and soon the other heroes appeared.
Each of them burst down.
The veins on Robin's head got thicker because he gathered power above to act as reflective cushioning. All the cushioning worked by taking the impact and transferring it along the body and exploding it on the other side.
But maintaining everything together finally showed Robin the limits of his control of the rock itself.
The four heroes surged and together, brought down another hammer.
When they smashed, a massive wave of titan force surged from the impact point and gathered.
Time Tempest could only watch in regret that a child had gotten him this bad. That force gathered and exploded on top of him and instantly the veins along his body burst and he felt his bones popping from the pressure nearing their limit.
However he felt the pressure decrease as the momentum was ending and could finally push and each push reduced it more.
“It’s… going to end!” Robin said.
“One more!” Techno said and the four came down again causing Tempest to spew blood from his mouth this time.
“I’ll kill you all starting from that brat!” He roared from under the rock as he pulled one arm and smashed it from below forcing the rock to rebound just like they did causing all four to be smashed by a huge force.
Finally the momentum couldn’t hold but the weight was huge on his back and he couldn’t escape.
Robin continued to press it, not letting him toss it aside or throw it off.
“Done! Lighten it and allow him to throw.” Techno said.
Where Robin now stood was no longer a massive humanoid mech, it looked like a giant bee. Honeycomb structures formed the body and were transfering power to the bottom which was gathering an immense amount of energy.
Robin lightened it up and Tempest felt it and instantly freed himself just as the massive beam came crashing down.
Robin forced the rock to instantly lighten and shoot away with the man’s force and what he saw as his vision of the sky was cleared was a beam that hit not a moment later without giving him time to escape or even scream.
The weakness that came from not having any internal force is not having any capacity to defend against energy based attacks.
He took it with his entire body and it peeled his skin before the beam ended.
Living flesh and burned skin could be seen.
He looked up as his body was shaking both from pain and rage. What was scary was that he was still conscious.
The other four looked at him and he looked around before up at the sky where the giant mech hovered.
“You’ve really done well… to think I would be pushed like this. It seems I need time to get myself accustomed to the advancements of the last few years. It seems technology is finally a threat and new heroes even more so.” He said as his body was washed under the river of time.
The exposed muscles slowly got covered by a thin layer while the burned skin boiled over, “We will meet again, don’t you worry.” He said as he pushed his body more deeply into the river and used a different application of his power to travel rapidly for long distances. It is also a massive burden on him because it exposed him to doses of time that could surpass his limit but there was no way to follow him.
“Is he finally gone?” Robin said.
“Yes.” Techno replied.
He sighed and collapsed back, “Thank god that worked.” Robin said.
A laugh came from the machine as the top opened up and the real body of the hero appeared with a few drones that began to examine him.
That said, what called attention was the deep rumble from his stomach. “Ah… so hungry. I didn’t think control abilities consumed so much life force.” Robin said.
Techno laughed and Chasm Might came up to make sure he was alright, “I can see why you like him, he is really like you.” Techno said.
Mr Might, however, pulled him up and smacked him on the head with a strong punch.
“You little dipshit! Do you know the heart attack I almost had seeing you come up here! Do you think the hero world is a joke?!”
“Chasm, we should deal with ‘those’ first. It is a rare chance to have a capital city without organized crime.” Mephesto said.
He looked at the direction where the fighting of the remaining heroes had been and he looked at Robin before pointing at him and looking at Techno, “rescue duty, keep a firm watch on this one.” He said.
“Yes yes!” Techno said and smiled as the others rushed off and his machine began to shift and transform into thousands of seeker and worker droids leaving only a stable platform.
“My my, I’ve noticed that most of the heroes have a target student, but i can’t really pinpoint the one that matches me?” he asked.
Robin looked and smiled, “They are a pair of twins with a very special technological power. One can form a digital body from half his life force while the other is able to give life to data and summon these beings into the world. They are basically real world Digimon.” Robin said, tired.
Instantly Techno’s eyes shined extremely brightly as he went to his seat and fixed up what remained of the platform and began to ask details about it and became more and more fascinated.

It must be the weakest and simplest of designs, yes, for sure this needs several of the most state of the art supercomputers that can contain zettabyte, those people who have always dreamed of a virtual world but have only been able to develop a shell are surely to see immense glory in this! Robin knew that they had obtained yet another sponsor. Remembering what he had seen with Mephesto’s daughter, they are likely interested in both the Gamer space’s ability to spread or change this ability as well as her own capacity to summon many demons. If she could merge with greater demons then she would have already taken half a step to matching Mephesto.
Robin really didn’t know what it would end up like anymore but he was sure that Jackson County Public Highschool wasn’t going to be so simple anymore.
Most of all, Blue Phoenix and Rudy, who had begun to show strange abilities that seemed like he was becoming the elemental energy. These are important things to consider and most of all Milo, the innately most powerful, and any possible connection to Vincent Death.
This was 7 heroes gathering around a single school, the influence and financial and information resource gathering at this time was honestly scary. It was a completely unheard of situation and maybe one that every government would desire, the formation of a Hero academy.
One formed, run and financed by a nation's heroes. All that was missing were three heroes from the entire american union.
When they reached the ground, the fighting had moved and spread out but it had not stopped as villains were still all over. Robin called on the Atlas stone and recharged, they helped save people while gathering up the students, strong men and bravemen as they also fought the remaining villains.
When Robin finally encountered Shoji, he found that he was pretty beat up but he stood over a dangerous looking person with Kevin, also beat up.
“What happened?” Robin asked as they both dropped down exhausted.
“Just… making sure someone dangerous couldn’t hurt anyone else.” he said.
Robin forced a smile as he helped them up. Thanks to the gamer space that returned to normal, they were able to restore stamina faster like game characters so they were soon walking normal again.
They slowly gathered and they eventually found Lola.
They were shocked when they found Lily sucking up life force from several corpses without Lola requiring help.
Alongside her was Yez who had evolved into a greater Succubus. She was just as good and what was scary was that both of them were already the size of a 2 year old.
Shoji quickly went over and hugged her and looked up. His eyes saw a crying shadow and the hands looked blood red like they were blood stained, clearly demonstrating the trauma that she got from her own power.
He helped comfort her, “Just don’t resist, I’ll try to help a bit.” he said and separated from her, he gathered all his psychic energy and touched above her head but she felt something strange, it was like he was patting her but the feeling was different.
In his eyes, he saw the most comforting thing his parents did when she had gone through something bad and he looked down, “Don’t worry, the nightmares are gone. You’re safe with everyone here.” he said, changing it just a little.
The shadow showed an expression of shock just like Lola below before she started to cry while the shadow looked at her hands and slowly the blood red started to fade like smoke and the dull morbid color slowly changed into a positive.
He slowly removed it but the shadow looked at her, revealing her true emotion “Thank you Shoji.”
“No problem, you can count on us if you need a shoulder.” He said.
The others watched and he smiled as he looked back.
“What did you do?” Robin asked.
“When I was training, I was sparring against one of the others who trained the sword and he got really frustrated. I happened to have been training just to coat psychic energy but had gathered everything. He had ducked but the sword hit his emotion shadow. It didn’t do anything but he said he felt winded by the hit, making me think that if I gathered enough psychic power, I could directly touch it. I proved that in my fight and doing it with Lola now… I can see small things that can help a person in their moment of need. It's like finding a memory to use as a coping mechanism.” he whispered.
“Wow.” they said.
Robin looked out and sighed, “Even though I know it was for the better, to think chucking the Atlas stone with full intent and force at the ground could cause this must carnage and even someone considered a super villain could barely stop it. What's going to happen to it once that thing is condensed into a single stone.” Robin said.
“It will likely be as dense as a true planet’s core. Of course, it lacks mass to produce a planet of it’s own but it is sure to have the capacity to create its own gravity well.” Techno said.
Lola soon got up after sorting her emotions out.
“Have you seen Milo?” Robin asked.
“Yeah, he went with the others and summoned heap loads of normal skeletons and has been picking up surviving life signs under the rubble. Just like we suggested so long ago, his power is amazing for search and rescue.” Lola said.
When the two demons finished they moved on to other areas and fought for quite a while much less helping the rescue operation.
When the fights mostly died out Lola finally recalled the demons and almost suffocated under the life essence and had to spend time processing and distributing all of it through her body causing intense pain but also intense growth.
At the end, the range of destruction leveled close to 4 km in diameter around the private school and rescues continued for roughly a week. Special powers were called to help, one such power is the control and manipulation of concrete itself while everyone with abilities to locate life force or other life signs worked to pick up and save the people caught in this disaster.
In the end, it was a valuable lesson into the lives of heroes and more.
When it was all done, the seven heroes gathered for a formal press conference and explained the whole situation, calming the situation.
The capture and death of a few biggest criminal leaders in all most of the north east coast was a major plus to improving the morale of the civilian population. This would result in a collapse in organized crime and would have lasting side effects in all the surrounding states.
However, no news about any future arrangement of the heroes was spoken of but that was obvious why, although Techno was intent on studying and developing the Digital spawn, the others were far more cautious because there are many such powers.
This became a private conversation among the heroes about the possible countermeasures for the future. How it turns out is still unknown.
