Book 2 Chapter 7

Book 2 Chapter 7

Back at the school, the Evers twins were grinning as they each were connecting a data drive each into their computers.

They were quite self conscious of their shortcomings so even if they are learning programming it would take a long time to be able to make their own models so they had hired professional help to make the digital body grid for the child forms and a detailed skin which overlapped.

At last they were going to upload the data.

Both digital spawns were infant size already, even Oliver who got his a little later but it had already become an infant and the shape went from a nearly bodiless bird with tiny wings into a tiny round body with bird feet and slightly larger wings and a beak.

Of course, these shapes had nothing to do with their future forms because their data adapts to the form they will take, even if they share the data of the same form with something that looks like a slug they can adapt as long as it is an infant without a complete model attached.

Finally when the data packet was uploaded to the app it appeared as a digital grid skin without any color but it was constantly being read by the app.

“Are the models viable?” Tristan asked.

“Affirmative, sufficient data build up and excess data found in waste achieves more than sufficient amount of data.” the AI said.

“Is it safe to use waste data?” Oliver asked.

“There is no danger as the data will be broken to fill the programming.” The AI said.

They could only look at each other and sigh.

They each clicked on the model and dragged it on top of the digital spawns that were ready for it.

Finally when they dropped it, it turned into a ball of light and instantly all the waste began to break down in the data bank and rush at them.

“Commencing evolution sequence.”

The infant spawns were surrounded in a new egg of data but a screen appeared showing the inside as the bodies broke down into energized data and how the models formed around them and the data filled the core and instantly the spread to fill the internal model before the data began to expand into the skin change the totally normal rendered skin into solid mass as realistic as themselves.

The one Tristan made was in the form of a quadruped metal dragon formed of many plated segments and it used a shocking amount of data as the firewall system was growing extremely strong in the defensive capacity as bolts formed to screw the plates but the interior was biological and not machine.

For Oliver, his trained spawn wasn’t for battle, unlike his brother who can summon these creatures, he lacked this capacity but that didn’t mean it wasn’t of use.

The model he gave it to was of a half sized humanoid with green skin but overall human appearance with glasses and on it’s back was a very big book held by leather straps.

Yep, he wants to create a personal tutor so he actually planned to develop a spawn with a strong search engine programming through the book. Of course this capacity was only in the planning stage with the model. The book was only good for smashing stuff on the head but he wanted for it to be a very scholarly being that would be perfect as a teacher.

Basically he planned to upload data to the book that it could instinctively access, learn and then teach him in a much easier way compared to what teachers do.

At least this is the plan for the future.

They both burst from the data eggs after completely changing.

“Congratulations, you have created a child stage digital spawn, would you like to change their names?” the AI asked.

“Yeah, I’ll name it Hacks.” Tristan said, being fiel to the source.

“I’ll name it Specs.” Oliver said. It was a joke on the thick glasses as well as it’s high IQ he planned for.

“Names registered.” the AI said.

After that it went silent.

“Seems that’s it, I wonder how much they changed.” Tristan said.

Before Oliver could reply a screen appeared showing shifting data tables surprisingly, it had a lot of empty spaces with text boxes.

“What is this?” Oliver asked.

“Racial lore builder. It will allow the shape and forms to be better developed and add special effects depending on design. Personality traits also change, offensive and defensive capacities may develop or vanish depending on changes.” the AI.

“Woah… this is so much more in depth than we thought.” Tristan said.

“Yeah, you should research about the abilities Hackmon actually has first.” Oliver said as he rotated his spawn and selected the book which was still being regarded as part of the body.

He quickly made that and all parts that looked like clothing separate bodies including clothing which remained just as clothing.

For the book he began to develop it. “Data storage is unique, specs knows all the data stored inside and is able to learn and teach about the material it has in it’s book.” he wrote and instantly the book began to change and so did the text. That said the box vanished once he fully submitted the information.

“Book of Knowledge, an item that specs create when organizing large bundles of data. It will gather the same kind of knowledge and build an easy to understand and learn from book and hopes to create a large library of data that it can pride itself in. Every book it successfully creates, it will know the data inside and will have the basic knowledge stored in it’s head but for details it needs to be in contact with the book.”

“Woah look!” Oliver said.

Tristan looked and read it, “That’s creative, I didn't think you were that creative.” his brother said.

“I didn’t write that.” Oliver said and explained what he wrote. “Oh I see, they adapt it to balance certain capacities.” Tristan said.

Oliver thought and agreed that it was likely the possibility. A single book holding so much knowledge was truly impossible so it made sense.

He turned to the body and developed the strengths and weaknesses making it bad at fighting but physically strong to be able to easily move large amounts of books with ease.

“Specs is a race of humanoid which has poor fighting capacity as long as it doesn’t possess a book of combat in its hand in which case it gains more confidence to use it’s heavy books like clubs. They are mostly timid but can carry one book in the field at a time tied to it’s back. They feel safest in their libraries and are able to move huge piles of books to organize their data if it gets messy. Their glasses allow them to obtain a lot of intel from what they see.” the AI said this time.

“Oh that is interesting.” Oliver said.

“Digital spawn potential used, no further capacity can be updated.” the AI said and the screen gathered into a tiny orb and shot into Specs who shined as the model split and it began to gain more detail and it finally came to life as the personality programs took effect.

As for Tristan, he was looking through many developed websites on digimon but the abilities of Hackmon were the same. A powerful slash with its claws which were made of hardened darker material, a drill tail that it could use to slash while spinning and fire breath.

For a child it was plenty honestly however that was just his offensive capacity. Naturally the biographical part causes a lot of change.

“A Dragon with metal plated skin with great potential for growth, adventurous with a great desire to grow strong and become a powerful protector that can stop wars with its presence and mediate peace.” Tristan wrote.

It followed the previous entries and Olivers and changed as the AI modified it to greatly improve.

“A newborn dragon with metal skin, it is headstrong, adventurous and prone to getting into trouble because of it’s reckless nature. As with all dragons in mythology, it has potential to grow. It possesses an inborn righteousness which is what causes it to be adventurous and headstrong as it tries to find solutions to problems that don’t cause bad consequences for anyone but in turn might cause more trouble than it should. As all dragons, it is born strong despite its size and is open to learning any form of combat and loves fighting.”

Tristan read that and knew that he had just made a big trouble maker and this was going to be a big headache now and he hoped that he could control a troublemaker with a hard headed personality.

The potential was all used up with the biography and it installed into Hack and it shined as the dull ‘metal’ skin changed into true metal while the short claws doubled in length and it’s tail gained the ability to spin.

It instantly roared and spouted fireballs which exploded in the distance with a strong explosion and instantly it began to run around with a lot of energy.

“Boss! This island is tiny! I want to move! Come on, make me a good home!” Hack instantly started complaining, making Tristan force a smile and look at the small bit of training items that were made from game models that they had downloaded to make for the infants but that was barely anything for him.

“AI, suggestion?” He asked.

“Farm size upgrade to level 4 with 60% of the gathered points and purchase of the mountainous terrain, this is sufficient for his home size and training needs.” it said.

He nodded and opened the settings and began to purchase the things before he started to model things and one thing was to make sure there was a clearing where he could safely play and sleep in a cave with constant fire and bedding for it.

The size increase made it about 1 km in diameter.

Equally, Specs asked for something similar but the format was of an empty library and it was overjoyed. Oliver didn’t lose time as he took out a lot of data drives with things from his early school years and began to upload the first subject and Specs noticed the data gathering and rushed over and opened his current empty book and absorbed the information and he started processing the data and began to create books at the kindergarten level.

He thought that if he made several of these, it might even be possible to use them as private tutors for people that needed extra help, it would help as another income for the club. Club income was truly dependent purely on the creativity of the students and after thinking of this he suggested it to his brother who absolutely loved the idea.

“How many spawns can fit in the farms?” Tristan asked

“Level 4 size library farms can fit 10 Spec models. Sufficient food is required to feed them.” the AI said.

“Life force isn’t hard since we get it back anyways, the question is if it would consume a lot of data space.” He asked.

“Negative. Development into adult form requires constant upgrade and an updated adult form model and sufficient data accumulation and evolution permission from the AI.” it said.

“Okay, how complex are the spawn AI?” he asked

“Specs model is at the level of a young adult.” the AI said.

“So it isn’t an impossible thought process. But if it gets very developed and we make teachers out of them, it could put some teachers out of jobs if they get better at the job than them.” Tristan said.

“Only if they actually suck, the spawns would remain on phones or computers. At best there is no way they could access data faster outside where they can’t reach their library.” Oliver said.

“True… teacher assistant is a pretty good job though.” he said.

Oliver nodded agreeing but it would take some time to completely develop the number of spawns but there were equally a lot of life force users so with that in mind, they decided to start producing more spawns to make more Specs.

Boom!

Marcus in his full Kong form smashed down his fist at Robin with all he had while hardened and crossing his arms, he received that impact like nothing while Silk and Kevin rushed at him one kicking low and the other punching but Robin raised an arm to receive the punch and lowered his center of gravity and remained like a steel pillar.

Both attacks were much heavier than a week prior and the movements were fluid as they had all gotten used to heavier gravity and their strength, speed and movements all got smoother as they learned to move efficiently. At the same time they were all learning how to properly apply force.

Even so, the biggest change was in Robin. Every day he ran under the weight of the Atlas stone and that crushing pressure and exercise he did caused his body to constantly adapt to the pressure and his sensitivity towards Titan force.

Now, he was able to achieve much better control of the energy and could more freely control the energy. He could also punch without releasing it invasively but in doing so the force of his punches still rises up.

Furthermore, every day he would ‘eat his fill’ which forced Mr Might to bring a massive shipment of food along with special food from a hidden business he had developed. It was just a sack of rice but with a tiny bowl, Robin felt like he had eaten half the food he previously needed.

This special product was named simply spirit food, it was produced with specially processed items that certain noncombatant disciples of Mr Might, produced for him and they lived off little bits and sold this precious food very sparsely however Mr Might obtained it for next to nothing because it was just stored away.

Other strength types were given a bit of it to see the reaction but not many people could eat much of it even if they wanted to. It was purely food for growth spurt periods but Robin was actually constantly falling into this state after running with his rock and every day he grew stronger.

Surprisingly, this had a very positive effect on the other three.

The rivalry sparked Silk to train harder and he asked Mr Might for chi pills after day two and used one a night. The density of his chi was already several times higher and since he processed it all constantly it was compressed to small amounts but for someone that didn’t even have it, that is a good progress and it showed in his body.

Equally, his skill at using it with his fighting style to punch harder equally pressured Robin.

If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

Kevin growing was purely from the training and gravity done during the week. The afternoon was for all forms of physical training while under heavy gravity and this pushed him forward. The same could be said about Marcus and he really didn’t like how fast Robin was growing.

He asked to be pushed harder so Mr Might did as he liked within the healthy limits of his body and tied his arms and forced him to pull a massive monster who could transform into living rock. He had to pull this and willingly did that on an upward path even during the afternoon.

After three days, his body began to react and his food intact began to increase.

In fact, a lot of people were the same as their bodies began to react to the stimulus and started to increase their food intact to repair the damage.

Milo was pretty calm though he still needed physical training so he actually trained alongside the skeleton warrior squad he had begun to build.

Taking the common skeletons he had repaired, he used pills to make armor but only produced a few pieces and a proper weapon for them while awakening their minds. From that he began to train with them and Bargo physical training but he wasn’t a physical fighter.

He even had Bargo, during the night, check to see if he couldn’t obtain some kind of book on basics that undead mage use to see if he can’t learn something from it.

Shoji constantly trained his body with cruel training before transitioning to sword fighting and at night he trained his growing psychic energy.

Lola had it the hardest because what she had to train was dangerous, even more than anyone else despite not being the most physically taxing.

The dangers of her ‘Demon’ summoning stem from the fact that she has a limit of demons she can effectively control without side effects. When she oversteps that limit though it gets dangerous, sentient demons like Lily and the four servants wouldn’t openly rebel and cause problems because they can see benefits and reward to keep her alive but Imps don’t. They are 60% instinct, especially when summoned where only part of their mind is there making them 100% instinct driven and controlled by the contract.

When the control starts to weaken, they begin to rebel and their method of rebelling is to send disturbing hallucinations into the contractor’s mind and start trying to corrupt it.

When they find a weak contractor, they would even attempt to possess their bodies and form a true body from their life force.

As such, the training was to have Lola meditate and train her life force while having 1 imp above her mental limit and start to feel that corruptive feeling. Naturally among the summoned demons are her five servants which help to process the corruption and keep it below a small margin which helps her train her mental fortitude so that she would be able to summon more minions at a time and require less summonings to completely strengthen one of the 5 to full strength she can draw out.

The four kept fighting until Mr Might called it and they all collapsed to their knees huffing but not as dead tired as before because they had already gotten more used to the weight and were merely out of breath.

“Good, it seems you all have felt quite a large growth this last week.” He said.

“Really… doesn’t feel like it… feels like I’m being left behind?” Marcus said.

Mr Might smiled and looked at Kevin.

He quickly realized what he was thinking and when they looked, a few teachers were waiting to help charge the gamer field.

“Everyone had roughly level 10 to 12 before we came, please check and inform us of the update after you’ve enhanced your stats.” he said.

Soon the field was opened but only around the group along with the teachers.

“What about the rest of the students?” Kevin asked.

“After lunch.” He said.

Robin waited for the system to calculate but what appeared first was surprising.

Update

You’ve upgraded two vital energy sources in your body

Congratulations, you’ve created Titan Force

Congratulations, your life force has begun to convert into Life essence

Update

Because of the presence of Life essence, which has entered the heart storage, life force deficiency has been almost erased and the trait has been removed from the trait table. Complete removal requires 100 Constitution

Defective Hardening is liable to change at the same time when the deficiency is completely resolved.

Notice

You can only access extra potential stored in the World Core when the world core is under the effect of the gamer space.

Increases ability of manipulating body by 5%

Close quarters combat

Level 12

Proficiency in close quarters combat

High speed mental processing

Level 10

A unique skill which allows the user to focus full attention on a subject of desire and analyze information at much faster speeds then normal, doubles Intelligence. When active, IQ is generally calculated by 1 wis to 25 int due to the rapid increase of mental processing.

Spring Style Combat

Level 15

A unique rubber body combat style which forces the four limbs into spring shaped spirals to exert greater force. The higher the level, the better the control over spring power, shape and general control over this style.

Titan Force Mastery

Level 1

The proficiency to skillfully use, manipulate and control titan force in and outside the body.

Trait

Strong Rubber Body

Passive

A natural body with rubber properties. This specific Rubber possesses a strong tensile strength which counters a common rubber body which discounts 30% in strength stat.

Defective Hardening

Active

A hardening ability that is partially incomplete biologically. It does, however, have the ability to harden the material of the body better than normal and can harden different kinds of materials beyond the common flesh and blood. This specific combination has adapted to the rubber body.

World Core Host

Passive

The host to a world core, as the host you gain the capacity to telepathically command the core and utilize its world power. Your body grows and can thrive on world power for at least 50% of your needs.

(Reduces damage caused by Life Force Deficiency but cannot improve the life force condition or speed up the merging possess.)

Robin’s face instantly brightened when he saw that and he saw what it was asking and read every screen carefully. Then he got up and asked Mr Might to remove the bracelets.

“Why?” He asked.

“I need to get the Atlas stone, I went up 6 levels and 30 points of potential are stored in the stone so I can do a bit of growth. Also I can finally clear out my genetic deficiencies! My life force actually started to turn into Life essence and it’s finally resolving the life force deficiency I have.” he said, extremely excited like never before.

Mr Might smiled and turned it off and he ran quickly and made the stone lighter so he could bring it quickly and once he was back under the influence, a notice said that he could access the stored potential in the stone.

He put it down and sat down and raised all his physical stats to 100 and used 22 leaving 38

After some thought he put 10 more in con, agi and dex and the remaining 8 were in strength. The end result was this.

He didn’t add anything to wisdom because it didn’t need it and it didn’t seem to decrease possibly because the titan force maintained the growth stability.

He accepted the change and he instantly felt suffocated as his body began to glow while nodes of light from the stone entered his body but it wasn’t as painless as normal body growth would seem.

He felt his blood ignite and primarily what was in his chest and the life essence began to suck in life force like it was being cultivated but even more than that it absorbed 22 nodes worth of energy and potential the game system drew out and it was growing and it started releasing life essence through his body making him shout painfully as his heart was the first to painfully switch life force in every cell for life essence and that released life force was absorbed by the life essence and it spread through the blood vessels first through the body and even the brain before finally returning and completing the circulation system and than his other organs and once it was done it travelled into his bone marrow here he felt like his body would explode.

Mr Might and the others watched in shock as he shouted in pain while his body was releasing intense heat.

After the bone marrow, the bone began to release life force and absorb life essence while the 50% left stored constantly sucked up the life force.

What was surprising was that it began to spin like the world power and began to release a toxic energy through his body until it was pushed out before it continued spreading into the muscles and then pulled back again and did that again and finally the skin and hair which ended with a final release.

When it was finally done, his life essence calmed down and about 25% returned to the storage while 25% was in his blood and the last 50% was in every cell of his body down to every bit of bone.

When it stopped he collapsed huffing weakly.

After that the parts of the power aiming at the other stats finally took effect and his body began to grow more powerful until his glow finally ended but he remained there with shallow breaths.

Mr Might walked over and held his head and gave him some slaps to wake him from the pain.

“You okay kid?” He asked.

“Uh… yeah…” he said.

At that moment a system message appeared.

Update

Congratulations, you’ve converted 100% of your body's life force into Life Essence. Effect of this has completely eliminated the Life force deficiency and no longer activates the defective trait when in your hardened mode. All locations leaks have been healed with the restructured life essence through the system

Congratulations, because of the total elimination of the Life force deficiency, the defective codes have been eliminated and the system has successfully merged the Hardening and Rubber body genetic codes into a singular, safe, Hardened Rubber Body. The abilities have not changed, only the negative effects have been eliminated

Trait

Hardened Rubber Body

Passive/Active

A natural body with strong rubber properties and the ability to morph the molecular structure into a powerful hardened state similar to thick rubber. The strong tensile strength in this rubber negates loss of physical power that regular rubber bodies possess due to flacid muscular fibers.

Tears filled his eyes as he looked at his ability. It was no longer the strong rubber body that he and his sister both possessed, it was the Hardened Rubber body which was the fused hardening ability with his rubber body.

“Finally, the defect is gone.” He said through his tears and pushed himself up and took off the helmet and took off the top half and hardened.

His body expanded like before but he only grew about 30 cm and looked lean whereas before he looked older than 20 years old.

Furthermore he swung his arm and it stretched to the full length of his rubber ability which had extended to nearly 200 meters and he even gained some more freedom with his own body as he didn’t swing his arm, he just controlled it with his mind and it moved and pulled back and compressed in a single go before the length pulled to normal length. He barely felt the pressure and looked at Mr Might who stood up and raised his fist and Robin just did a normal straight punch but he launched his spring and instantly the ground Robin’s feet cracked from the pressure.

“Good job, your biggest weakness is gone now. That said, how did you develop life essence so quickly? By natural means even a new braveman don’t produce it.” Mr Might asked.

“I think Titan force naturally stimulates it… training with the rock and i think eating all that food overfilled my body for the first few drops but I think the biggest reason is probably the Gamer space which has probably been calculating the ‘cure’ method because it’s also been merging my fathers hardening and my mothers rubber body. They aren’t separate abilities now, their joined as a single power.” he explained, “It must have been constantly pushing my body to that but it got even faster thanks to world power and since i already had some drops formed, they focused on that to completely change, cure and resolved all my biological problems.” he said.

The other three and all the teachers listened and were amazed that something like that could even happen and were even more in awe about the power of this gamer space.

They all began to distribute and after the first bit of stats, the gamer space began to glow and everyone felt an external energy began to enter them.

“What is going on?” the teachers asked.

Notice

Gamer space is providing ambient world power and converting it into vital potential for still untapped potential that would otherwise require time to gather the vital factors to produce the force for it.

“Could it do this before?” Mr Might asked.

“No, this is pretty new.” Kevin said.

Notice

Gamer space is still unable to gather all potential outside of the body allowing for more than the mortal vessel can contain. Once the full status system and stat system has been fully activated, it will be able to do so and external potential containers will not be required.

“So it is developing secondary effects to achieve what it was made for. That is interesting, it seems everything is growing.” Mr Might said.

After everything was done, the others all added their stats and they were far better off and the four students all reached an overall 90 or higher in their four physical stats.

For strength, they only dropped extra potential while the others loaded a lot more.

Still, only Kevin and Robin were the only ones with 10 per level but both Marcus and Silk had far greater natural growth through training.

Marcus’s strength was already 200 and he loaded to 100 his constitution, oh right, his level had risen from 11 to 19 meaning he had 45 points so the extra he placed into the other two stats leaving each just over 90.

Surprisingly, his normal form didn’t grow that much and it actually got just a bit leaner but when he transformed, he finally achieved the growth he had not been able to until now.

The 12 meter tall ape had grown a full 2 meters taller and naturally the mass that was divided all over for that would increase the ‘punch’ behind his fist.

Silk didn’t change much but his body seemed to pop a lot and he said that he had a high constitution already so he was able to enhance his weaker stat of dex and agil which were in the high 70s. His strength was at 170 and his level was level 18 as well.

Finally Kevin naturally grew as much and he had gone from level 7 to level 15 so he had a full 80 points so he pushed most of his stats in intervals of 10 and reached an over all of 90 with only his constitution as 100 so his body had more stamina and defensive strength.

As for the teachers, they all had similar smiles because they were equally as tortured and they all felt the rewards of their effort.

That said, unlike the students, all heroics teachers are at least vigilante and Rubin finally got taken by his curiosity and asked what level they had been and their average stats.

“Hehe, thanks to the month's using the gamer space I’ve finally caught up to my level. I’m level 42.” one of the teachers said.

They all began to say it and every one was from mid 30s to high 40s.

It actually made everyone curious and they looked at the four people.

They each smiled, Amber spoke first, “With this power’s calculations, it put me at level 387.”

“392” Rain said.

“390” Harvey replied.

When everyone’s eyes focused on Mr Might he actually puffed out his chest, “I’m Level 540.” he said.

Everyone swallowed hard when they realized the gap between a vigilante and a hero.

“What is your strength stat at?” Kevin asked.

“Over 80,000. Hmm, if calculated properly… that would be multiplied by 10 for the raw physical strength in force I can push as well as weight I can lift. Strange because I’ve been able to lift tens of thousands of tons.” he said.

“Sir, if I remember correctly, in Robin’s notes levels had a multiplier of 0.1 each level added to each multiplier. That means you have to multiply 80,000 by 64, which is from 10 + 54.” Rain said.

Mr Might thought for a moment, “If my math isn’t wrong, that should be over 5.12 million. Yeah that sounds more accurate.” he said.

Instantly everyone turned pale as they realized that he could actually physically lift up 5.12 million kilos of weight with raw strength alone, this didn’t include any enhancement brought by the True qi or properly punch and all that technique. Just pure brute strength.

“Wow…” everyone said, finally understanding why heroes are regarded on par with nuclear deterrence.

“Alright everyone, we got what was planned now, go get the rest of the students to do the same thing, we will be doing this weekly to monitor the progress of the students. It is rare to get something as convenient as a numerical calculation of strength so get to it.” Mr Might said and the teachers turned and quickly headed off to gather up the students and the others eventually got called and the entire student body felt the changes after a week and were rewarded with the increased stats with the rapidly rising levels.

At the end, the average of the entire year was about level 15 which was pretty good for trainees who were well on their way to reaching the strength of vigilantes.
